Rebirth: General, Don't Mess Around!

Perhaps thinking of something, the smile on Commissar Tang’s face disappeared a little. Then, he sighed softly. ”Situational and policy issues account for the majority, but local issues also exist.

”This is the reason why Company Commander Zhu doesn’t have much hope for female soldiers.”

There were some things that Commissar Tang couldn’t say directly. He could only gloss over them.

Xia Jinyuan understood why Commissar Tang was sighing.

”At that time, I strongly opposed Ye Jian leading a female soldier class.” His calm words let Commissar Tang know that he understood the reason for his sigh.

The two of them looked at each other and smiled. They didn’t continue chatting.

Female soldiers these days all had certain connections and were backed by their families.

It was good that everyone understood in their hearts, so they didn’t say it out loud. Sometimes, they had to pretend to be unaware.

The topic turned to the selection of 20 elite male soldiers. The battalion commander who went to the base was about to return.

Mr. Fu, who left the camp in the morning and had returned to the base, was chatting with the battalion commander who was preparing to return to the camp. He also mentioned his daughter, Ye Jian.

The battalion commander’s surname was Tian. He had known Mr. Fu for ten years. Although one was a lieutenant colonel and the other was a major general, the two of them had been good friends for many years. Naturally, the battalion commander had some understanding of his good friend’s personal situation.

Until he got into the car, Battalion Commander Tian hadn’t realized that his good friend had a biological daughter. His biological daughter was the instructor of the female soldier class who was transferred to his camp.

Damn it!

This huge piece of news almost choked him to death!

In order to see Ye Jian as soon as possible, Battalion Commander Tian jumped into the car and urged the automobile soldiers to drive faster. Company Commander Sun, who came with him, jumped in fright and thought that something big had happened in the camp. He hurriedly asked what was wrong.

”For various reasons, I haven’t publicized the fact that I’ve acknowledged my biological daughter. Old Tian, I’m only telling you today because my daughter is in your camp and you’re a fierce person. I’m worried that my daughter will be scolded by you, so I can only tell you in advance. The only people in the base who know are the service staff who went out with me.”

Thus, Battalion commander Tian didn’t tell Company Commander Sun that he was rushing back to meet his friend’s daughter who appeared out of nowhere and almost shocked him to death. He only replied that the female soldiers were there and that they should return to the military unit as soon as possible.

Not many people in the camp thought highly of the female soldiers’ arrival. Company Commander Sun, who was born and raised in the northwest, said in a low voice, ”If we go back early, I’ll have to discipline the male soldiers in the company.”

They wouldn’t make a mistake. At most, they would sneak a few glances at the female soldiers when they came over.

Ye Jian, the person that Battalion Commander Tian had been thinking about, was standing at the back of the line of female soldiers. Every time she walked past a female soldier, she would size them up and recall their names.

She had seen the roster and the personal information of the 20 female soldiers. She had already memorized their names and photos. She was just matching their faces now. There was no other meaning.

When she walked past Gao Xiao and Qiu Tong, Ye Jian didn’t walk past them directly. Instead, she paused for a few seconds before walking away.

The female soldiers were already wondering why a lieutenant walked past them.

They couldn’t see her badge from the corners of their eyes. They only saw her armband and epaulet. They didn’t know if she was a civilian. No female soldier thought that the lieutenant who walked past them was their instructor.

This was a female soldier who looked slender and delicate but was many times more ruthless than male soldiers. She was also an instructor that they remembered clearly even after retiring.
