Rebirth: General, Don't Mess Around!

Lina didn’t think that it was a motorcycle chasing after them.

The cars in the village, including the three cars that Wu Jinkun drove over, were all destroyed. And all the gasoline had been dumped. How could there be a motorcycle here?

”Oil barrels in the factory.”

After saying that coldly, Larner stepped on the accelerator slightly and sped up again. The expressions of the other people in the car, including Lina, changed.

Lina looked up at the trusted aide sitting in front of her. From the other party’s expression, Lina knew that Larner was right.

The oil barrels in the factory… Her people forgot to dispose of them!

Lina took a deep breath and said calmly, ”The people chasing us should be Wu Jinkun’s men. Only they know that there would be oil barrels in the factory. We can’t rule out the possibility that they’ve escaped.”

Lina looked at the mountain stream from the corner of her eyes and said, ”If we go further, we can enter the mountain directly. Larner will accompany me. The three of you stay behind to see who’ll come over.

Her eyes were dark and cold. ”No matter who it is, kill them all! If it’s that Chinese girl who’s chasing after us, keep her alive and bring her over.

”You know the place. After you finish dealing with the people following us, come over and meet up.”

Lina planned to abandon the car and enter the mountain.

It was not safe to drive at a time like this. It was easier to escape by running into the mountains.

It was not a problem to hide a few people in the vast mountains. Moreover, this was her territory. These mountains… Whether it was Wu Jinkun’s men or the people sent by General Minlai, no one was more familiar with this territory than her!

Larner nodded, indicating that he had no objections.

The other three people in the car nodded. They were familiar with this place too.

As for the Chinese girl… They would only know if she was alive when they saw her.

Lina closed her eyes to hide the trembling.

She had to calm down! Even if the person chasing her was… the general’s capable assassin, she would definitely be able to escape successfully!

Lina didn’t take Wu Jinkun’s people seriously. She didn’t even take Ye Jian seriously. Only General Minlai’s people scared Lina the most.

It was normal to be afraid of someone who once controlled her life.

The motorcycle was very fast. The narrow mountain road was relatively narrow for cars, but it was very spacious for motorcycles. The undercover officer, Liu Ning, stared ahead coldly and drove the motorcycle steadily into the darkness.

After turning a huge corner, Ye Jian, who was watching the commotion in front, suddenly tightened her grip. ”The target vehicle has stopped.”

”Remember the approximate location,” Liu Ning said in a deep voice. At a time like this, their minds needed to be clearer. They couldn’t make any mistakes. ”There are three situations. First, Lina will get out of the car and enter the mountains. Second, someone will get out of the car halfway and lay an ambush. Third, Lina will get out of the car and the car will continue moving forward…”

Ye Jian saw the car disappearing among the trees again. She smiled slightly. ”I choose the third possibility. The target gets out of the car and enters the mountains, and the car will continue moving forward.”

Liu Ning asked, ”Are you sure?”

Ye Jian nodded. ”I’m sure.” After all, she had been with Lina for a few months. If she didn’t even know Lina’s personality by now, she would be too useless.

The disappearing lights suddenly returned, but they were not headlights. It was the car’s back lights.

The two of them saw it clearly, and their expressions darkened.

It was the fourth possibility. Lina escaped into the mountains, and the car was blocking their way. She wasn’t trying to lure the enemy away.
