Rebirth: General, Don't Mess Around!

”I just want to lie down for a while, so shut your mouth.” Xia Jinyuan removed the hand on his shoulder. There was lingering fear in his indifferent expression.

Luke laughed softly. With one hand propped on a withered tree, he stood up first and reached out his hand to Xia Jinyuan, who was still lying on the ground. He didn’t want to get up. ”Buddy, we should go back now. Although we’re already in Myanmar, I think we still need to find a way back to Cobra.”

Looking at his outstretched hand, Xia Jinyuan reached out his hand and was held tightly by Luke. Using his arm strength, Xia Jinyuan got up and patted off the withered leaves on his back. He said calmly, ”Keep walking forward and contact Cobra. I think someone will come and fetch us.”

”That’s right! This is a good idea. Let’s go, my brother. When we go back, I’ll treat you to a drink to celebrate our survival today.”

”I don’t drink, thanks.”

”Oh, I forgot. In that case, let’s go to a bar and look for pretty women?”

”No thanks, I’m not interested in women.”

”God, do you like men, my brother Xia? Oh no, I think that women are still the best. They have big breasts and big buttocks. It feels so good to touch them!”

”Nope, I’m not interested in men.”

”Is it really as those guys said… Are you impotent?”

A fist was aimed at the back of Luke’s head. Luke dodged and turned his head. Laughing, he said, ”Prove to me that you aren’t impotent, then. You aren’t interested in women or men. What are you interested in?”

”Money. I’m most interested in money.” Xia Jinyuan retracted his fist and exhaled. ”If you mention any topics that I’m not interested in, I can tell you the consequences of making me unhappy.”

”Hahaha, I like money too.” Without the Chinese police chasing after him, Luke laughed even louder. Thank God that he met a good friend. If only… he really was a good friend, how good would that be?

The laughter didn’t stop. However, there was a dark look in the depths of Luke’s eyes. He heaved a long sigh in his heart. If Xia really was a good fellow, how good would that be?

The sky was already bright. The first rays of light pierced through the darkness and shone on the entire ground. Some places were bright while others were still dark. Just like this world, there was light and darkness.

Xia Jinyuan looked at Luke, who was laughing continuously. He used the knife in his hand to carve two more marks on the tree. These two marks were different from the ones he left for the armed police. It was an ’X’.

About an hour later, a man wearing a jungle camouflage uniform whose nationality couldn’t be guessed squatted beside a tree that had carvings on it. He touched it lightly with his gloved hand and raised his hand to wave behind him. Several men wearing the same camouflage uniform and with dark green and brown paint on their faces came out of the forest.

”It’s left behind by Q King. It’s very fresh. Even the sap of the tree hasn’t dried. There’s no mistake,” G3 said in a low voice. His eyes were shining with excitement. ”We can finally meet!”

Z7 reached out his hand and touched it too. He laughed and said, ”At that time, he’ll be our enemy and we’ll be the emissaries of justice. In the past, I dreamed of competing with him. This time, my wish is going to be fulfilled. Hahaha!”
