Rebirth: General, Don't Mess Around!

Cobra had kidnapped government forces before. Hence, he didn’t find it strange. Also, he didn’t know much about China. Cobra, who had always been smart and cunning, made a wrong judgment in this matter. This made him think that the Chinese border defense police weren’t ordinary. It wasn’t like what Luke said, about China being a restricted area for mercenaries.

Hence, Cobra believed that he could enter China.

Luke and Xia Jinyuan, who had infiltrated China illegally, had not returned safely. When Cobra saw Qin Maosheng laughing happily, he laughed too.

The kidnapping of the Chinese female soldier was done well. It would attract the attention of the Chinese border defense police and reduce the danger Luke and Xia faced. This was why when Cobra knew about Qin Maosheng’s kidnapping plan, he strongly supported it.

A huge net was laid out by the main forces of China. They had no contact with the Myanmar military at all. They sent a female soldier to enter the tiger’s den alone in the most dangerous way, going straight for Qin Maosheng’s head.

Ye Jian was the most important person in this huge net. She wasn’t in charge of rescuing Zhou Yijin and the other female soldier now. She was going to take Qin Maosheng’s head directly.

Maybe she wouldn’t be able to see Qin Maosheng…

No one knew for sure.

Why was the commander-in-chief angry about the plan? It was because this was a gamble. It was a gamble with Ye Jian’s life on the line.

The enraged commander-in-chief chose to give in in the end. Even if he knew that there wasn’t a 100% chance of success, the Chinese were willing to take the risk.

The other party had already revealed their guns and even dared to set a trap to kidnap their soldiers. If the Chinese side continued to bear with it and only sent people to save the two female soldiers, it would undoubtedly increase the arrogance of the other party!

China wouldn’t provoke an irrational conflict. However, in the face of guns, the Chinese soldiers wouldn’t remain silent. When it was time to show their swords, they must show their swords!

Ye Jian was this shining sword. She had already been unsheathed. Even if there was only a 1% chance, she would take action!

There was no backup. There was no way out. They could only move forward.

A lonely journey of thousands of miles, a possible farewell… Perhaps this time, it would really be a farewell. Perhaps the soldier would not return this time and her blood would stain the green mountain.

The commander-in-chief knew this, and so did Xu Yu.

However, Ye Jian didn’t think that she would have to bid farewell. She had the confidence to escape and believed that she could do it.

Now, the only thing she needed to worry about was whether she could see Qin Maosheng or not. Only when she saw him would she have the chance to make a move.

The criminals who were active at the borders had their own way of survival. They wouldn’t pass through the checkpoints normally. Instead, they would enter the village at the border of the two countries and enter the territory of another country through the waterway.

Zhou Yijin and another female soldier left the country in this way. Similarly, Ye Jian left the country in this way too.

The people in the car had already noticed that Ye Jian had woken up. A woman sitting in the back seat pressed something hard against Ye Jian’s waist and said coldly, ”What’s pressing against you now is a pistol. If you don’t cooperate, I’ll shoot all the bullets in the pistol into you.”

It was a standard Mandarin dialect. Those who didn’t know better would think that she was Chinese.

Ye Jian was very familiar with this voice. It was the voice of the lady who had pretended to be pregnant and whom she sent to the hospital. Now, the other party’s voice was cold and gloomy. It didn’t sound like her stomach was in so much pain that she needed to go to the hospital for a check-up.

Her stomachache was fake, and so was her pregnancy.
