Rebirth: General, Don't Mess Around!

Of course, whether Luke was a member of the Signal Flag or not, Xia Jinyuan didn’t plan to confirm it personally. He just wanted to wait and see.

”I got your reminder.” Cobra listened to Luke’s suggestion and agreed with it. ”China is a country I don’t want to step into. I heard many stories about this country from a friend in the past. I don’t have a good impression of this country.

”Luke, you’re right. I’ll wait for you to come back.” He had a reason to go over.

”I will understand clearly if Qin Maosheng is being watched by the Chinese. However, I don’t know if he has caused any trouble. You have to leave tomorrow. That’s what I agreed on with Qin Maosheng. I can’t go back on my word. Hence, I hope that the two of you can help each other so that I can see you come back safely.”

After saying that, Cobra looked at Xia Jinyuan and patted his shoulder. ”Do your best. I know how hard you’ve been working. Xia, you’re a powerful man. You and Luke will become my best helpers. I can’t do without your help.”

Xia Jinyuan nodded and said calmly, ”Luke and I will definitely come back.”

”That’s right. I believe that you and Luke will definitely come back. Alright, I still have some things to take care of. You and Luke can walk around the area. Someone will send you out tomorrow morning.”

He patted Xia Jinyuan’s shoulder again before leaving.

After Cobra left, he asked his two bodyguards to bring the sketch board, paint, and other drawing tools. He said that he still had some important things to settle, but what he meant was that he wanted to find a place with good scenery to paint the view.

A fellow whose hands were stained with blood actually had a special liking for painting. It could be seen that everyone liked art. Even if it was a criminal, he would like it.

Xia Jinyuan watched as Cobra left. He was still thinking about what Cobra said just now.

Especially when he said that he didn’t have a good impression of China because of a friend. The first person Xia Jinyuan thought of was Li Chuhai. During the prior investigation, it was discovered that Li Chuhai and Cobra had a good relationship and trusted each other.

Cobra, who had never been to China before, might have understood a few things about China through Li Chuhai. He now had a huge prejudice against the country.

It was good news that Cobra had plans of entering China. Xia Jinyuan needed to send this good news back to the Xueyu unit and cooperate with his comrades that he hadn’t seen in a year to complete the mission.

This time, Ye Jian wasn’t part of Xia Jinyuan’s plan. He didn’t plan to tell Ye Jian that he was returning to the country and needed to cooperate with his comrades from the Xueyu unit.

When G3 from the Xueyu unit knew that Xia Jinyuan was returning to the country, it was already the night of the second day of the new year. He hadn’t heard from Xia Jinyuan for a year, so when he received a call from the military, his hand that was holding the phone trembled slightly.

On the phone, Major General Yang gave some orders. He nodded and said with killing intent in his eyes, ”Okay, I’ll gather everyone immediately. I’ll give you a video call in three minutes!”

After hanging up, G3 didn’t blow the emergency whistle. Q King hadn’t returned to the unit for a year. The veterans who didn’t know anything knew that their captain must be carrying out a secret mission. As for the new recruits, they didn’t know where their captain went. Although they often discussed it in private, they never managed to come to a conclusion.

They wouldn’t be able to find out the things that they couldn’t find out even if they were in the same military unit.
