Rebirth: General, Don't Mess Around!

The four men were very arrogant. They were indifferent to life. After discovering the death of that woman, they lifted her and threw her into the Mekong River. The turbulent Mekong River water swallowed the woman who died because of money. She disappeared in the blink of an eye.

There was still a faint smell of blood in the air. The four men, who were tired from the beating, cursed and left the three ladies. They had also been beaten until their bones were fractured. They hugged the four other ladies who were trembling in fear. Together, they left the event location. Inside the ship, there was a new round of celebration going on.

Xia Jinyuan only found out about last night’s events the next morning. Luke was sitting by the bed. He seemed to have indulged himself too much last night, judging by how bad his hangover was. Even his eyelids were drooping. He didn’t have any energy.

Xia Jinyuan passed the milk and bread in his hand to Luke and sat on a small chair at the side. He placed his slender and straight legs on the side of the narrow bed and looked at him calmly. ”I don’t like to serve a drunkard who can’t even distinguish the sounds of gunshots and firecrackers. I hope that this won’t happen again.”

”God, I just heard those bastards beat up a party girl to death and threw that poor woman into the cold river. Is that true? If it’s true, God, that’s very unfortunate news.”

Luke finished his milk in one gulp and changed the topic to other people’s matters with an exaggerated and stiff expression. He said regretfully, ”Poor woman.”

”Don’t change the topic, Luke. You drank too much last night and said a few sentences… in a foreign language.” Xia Jinyuan looked at him and caught the subtle expressions on Luke’s face.

The moment Luke heard that he had spoken in an unfamiliar language, his eyes stopped moving for three seconds. Then, his eyelashes trembled slightly. He looked up with a smile. ”An unfamiliar language? It’s just the nonsense of a drunkard. Don’t worry, my friend.”

”Didn’t they kick up a fuss? Those guys even beat a woman to death. Ha, these fellows like to cause trouble for Mr. Cobra wherever they go and give him a headache.”

The subtle changes on his face allowed Xia Jinyuan to know that what he said made Luke feel at ease. The Signal Flag of the special forces… It was a special forces unit that wore a mysterious veil. They were mainly involved in secret activities outside Russia.

The most famous battle was in 1993. A group of terrorists hijacked a nuclear-powered ship. The special forces received orders to rush over and secretly approached the nuclear-powered ship. The frogmen used a special method to sneak to the sides of the ship and take down the terrorists on the ship at a fast speed.

Then, a few airborne soldiers with wind speeds of 15 meters per second descended from the sky and surrounded the hijacked nuclear-powered ship. They successfully countered the act of terrorism.

This battle was the only time the Russian Signal Flag special forces unit appeared in the past ten years. After that, there was no more news of the Signal Flag. That was, there was no more international news about the Signal Flag.

Obviously, this rumor was wrong.

It wasn’t that the Signal Flag no longer existed. It was just that they were continuing to work hard for the defense of Russia in a more subtle way.

As for Luke…

It was very likely that he was a member of the special forces.

Was it possible for a member of the special forces to hide beside Cobra for five years?

Xia Jinyuan didn’t immediately ask for Luke’s identity because he heard the drunk Luke mutter about the Signal Flag last night. Who knew if the other party was just testing him again?

However, he didn’t believe that Luke had nothing to do with the special forces.

When he was drunk, Luke looked just like a child. Xia Jinyuan was all too familiar with the emotions in his cries.
