The Female CEO's Personal Bodyguard

Carson Flores returned with a rather adorable-looking demonic beast. Although it attracted some attention, no one really minded.

Capturing a demonic beast was just a trifling matter.

Carson Flores went back to his room and wrote a letter to Spencer Steele, sealing it within a Jade Slip, and handed it to Maedryn Cobb.

”Please give this to Spencer Steele, thanks!”

Maedryn Cobb replied calmly, ”It will be delivered. If you need my help in the future, feel free to come to the Battle Hall at the Myriad Immortals Palace to find me!”

Carson Flores asked, ”How are you and Spencer Steele doing now?”

Maedryn Cobb answered, ”Previously we escaped a disaster at the West Prison when the Battle Hall Master and many Battle Hall Disciples were ambushed. Subsequently, the Myriad Immortals Palace appointed a new Battle Hall Master, and since Spencer Steele and I are well-acquainted with the Battle Hall’s affairs, we were appointed as small team leaders to assist the Hall Master with various tasks.”

Carson Flores breathed a sigh of relief and laughed, ”Boundless future ahead.”

Maedryn Cobb’s eyes glinted with excitement, ”Right now, our strength is still a bit lacking. Once we advance to Great Land Prime Immortal, we will undoubtedly be more valued.”

Carson Flores laughed, ”Well, then I wish you a bright future and quick promotion.”

Leaving Maedryn Cobb’s abode, Carson Flores knocked on Nerisse Blaine’s door.

”Fairy Blaine, how much are you short of your task points?”

Nerisse Blaine replied, ”I got quite a few stingers before. They can be exchanged for over a thousand points, together with the points I previously earned, it’s almost enough.”

Carson Flores asked, ”Is there anything else you want to exchange? I have quite a few still.”

Nerisse Blaine shook her head, ”I have nothing to exchange for; I am just here to complete the sect mission.”

Carson Flores was silent for a few seconds, then couldn’t resist his curiosity, ”What mission is it, can you say?”

Nerisse Blaine looked at Carson Flores, smiled meaningfully, and said, ”Just to exchange something, take it back to the sect. Someone there has use for it... This is an internal affair of our sect; it has nothing to do with outsiders.”

Carson Flores thought Nerisse Blaine’s smile was slightly odd.

What was the need to emphasize it having nothing to do with outsiders?

Could she know what he’s worried about in his heart?

Impossible!

She couldn’t possibly know his true identity, as he had never revealed anything.

”So, when are you planning to leave?”

Nerisse Blaine smiled warmly, ”Alongside you, remember? After we leave, you have to personally cook to treat me to a drink!”

Carson Flores nodded, ”Alright, you complete the exchange first, and I’ll attend to something.”

Nerisse Blaine’s lips curled slightly, ”Zorvyn Harrison?”

Carson Flores didn’t hide it, replied honestly, ”Yes, I feel somewhat sympathetic toward her. I want to inquire how many points are needed to exchange for her freedom. If feasible, I’ll take her out and set her free.”

Nerisse Blaine asked, ”They’ll surely ask for a high price and rip you off. Are you willing?”

Carson Flores grinned and answered calmly, ”I’ll ask first; points are useless once outside.”

Nerisse Blaine’s eyes sparkled, ”And you say you’re not a good person?”

Carson Flores chuckled, ”So quickly retaliating by giving me a good person card?”

Nerisse Blaine laughed heartily, ”Just speaking the truth, go ahead, I’ll wait for your good news.”

”Alright!”

Carson Flores left and arrived at the area where the flower maidens lived, and after some notification, he met Zephyra.

At the Gathering Immortals Assembly, Zephyra personally greeted each guest at the door. She was also the steward managing the duties of the flower maidens.

After the maiden served tea, Zephyra smilingly asked, ”Young Master Flores, what brings you here today?”

Carson Flores straightforwardly inquired, ”I heard that as long as you pay a certain cost, the flower maidens of Immortal Gathering Island can regain freedom and leave at will. Is that true?”

Zephyra’s eyes showed a hint of surprise, and her smile grew sweeter, ”Such a rule indeed exists, but which flower maiden is fortunate enough to catch Young Master Flores’s eye?”

”Zorvyn Harrison.”

Carson Flores fixed his gaze on Zephyra’s eyes and smiled, ”The flower maiden I chose when I first arrived at Immortal Gathering Island. She has attended to me for many days, and I quite like her, so I want to ask what cost I need to pay to exchange for her freedom, to let her leave with me.”

Zephyra smiled, ”But as far as I know, Zorvyn Harrison hasn’t served in bed, just performed the duties of an ordinary maiden...”

Carson Flores laughed, ”Whether she served in bed or not seems unrelated to whether I am satisfied with her.”

”Indeed, unrelated.”

Zephyra smiled, ”Only, they may be flower maidens, but they are still under my charge. To be taken away, I should know about her future, right? Though I’m a steward, I’m also a woman, and I hope she can be happy after she leaves, don’t you?”

”Both you and I know Zorvyn Harrison isn’t among the prettiest maidens, nor has the best temperament. Why would you specifically want to take her away? Honestly, you can easily choose a prettier and more sensible one...”
