The Female CEO's Personal Bodyguard

”This area is mostly desert, and Crystal Scorpions like to dig holes and nest under the sand. Because the Demonic Qi interferes with Divine Sense perception, it’s unrealistic to rely on Divine Sense to sweep the land and search for Crystal Scorpions.”

”To find Crystal Scorpions, you can only walk on the ground and use cultivation practice to shake the earth, simulating the scene of a giant beast treading across the ground. The vibrations of the earth are how they sense their prey, and as long as they’re hidden underground, sensing the vibrations, they’ll come out to hunt.”

”Once they emerge from the Sand Sea, we can spot them and encircle and annihilate them. When killing them, there’s no need to have any taboos; their shells are very hard, especially that stinger, which is almost indestructible. So there’s no need to worry about smashing the bodies and being unable to redeem points.”

Raelith Rhodes descended, demonstrating for Carson Flores.

He stepped out, his foot landing on the ground, and the whole earth suddenly trembled, making a deep sound.

He looked relaxed, stepping out one step at a time, each step spanning dozens of meters. With each step, the ground trembled and the yellow sand collapsed, like a giant creature walking across the earth, the noise was huge.

”Finding Crystal Scorpions is a task that requires patience, it must not be rushed because if you run too fast, the Crystal Scorpions might not even have time to emerge before you’re out of sight. You need to give them some time.”

Carson Flores glanced at the vast basin filled with black Qi and asked, ”This Land of Demonic Qi seems quite vast.”

Raelith Rhodes laughed, ”It’s very big. With this search method, we’ll be busy for quite some time. Let’s hope that after all this trouble, we’ll have a good harvest.”

Maedryn Cobb spoke solemnly, ”No wasting time, let’s begin.”

Raelith Rhodes nodded, ”Alright, the usual plan, to expand the search area, the three of us will each walk a line, maintaining a distance where we can vaguely sense each other’s presence, moving forward in the same direction. Whoever discovers a target will notify the other two, so we can all surround and kill it. Once it’s clean, we’ll separate again and continue searching. Rinse and repeat. Any issues?”

Carson Flores answered readily, ”Understood, no problem.”

Raelith Rhodes urged, ”Your strength is relatively low, remember to keep your Defense Treasure in defense mode, as they will directly emerge from the sand to attack us. Once you detect them, immediately ascend, increase your altitude, and call us. We’ll come over right away.”

Carson Flores nodded, ”Got it!”

The three of them spread out, with Carson Flores walking alone in the black mist, shaking the earth step by step as he moved forward.

The mist was quite dense, but not so much that you couldn’t see your hand. It felt more like dusk after sunset.

The three of them just walked like this, and after traveling dozens of miles, Carson Flores heard Raelith Rhodes shouting.

”Here, come!”

Carson Flores soared into the air, darting out of the black mist area, and saw Raelith Rhodes’ figure floating in mid-air, with a pleased look on his face.

Maedryn Cobb hurried over and asked, ”How many?”

Raelith Rhodes chuckled, looking excited, ”A big nest, quite a lot!”

Maedryn Cobb’s eyes revealed delight, ”I’ll go down and kill them, you two provide cover, don’t let them escape!”

Raelith Rhodes reminded, ”Try to lure them all out and then kill them. Otherwise, those that haven’t come out will turn back and drill into the ground. Trying to capture them then will be quite troublesome.”

”I know.”

Maedryn Cobb agreed, his figure plunging into the Misty Sea.

Carson Flores stood beside Raelith Rhodes, asking in a low voice, ”Are we just going to provide cover like this?”

Raelith Rhodes smiled, ”Most Crystal Scorpions have the strength of Great Land Fairies. With Maedryn Cobb’s ability, he can basically crush them. Even if there’s a slightly stronger one, he can handle it, unless it’s at the Great Land Prime Immortal level. But such Crystal Scorpions are extremely rare, and you can tell by their size.”

”I just saw this nest, at most one or two leading scorpions might barely have the strength of Great Land Immortals, so him acting alone is entirely without worry. We just need to prevent these Crystal Scorpions from escaping...”

Carson Flores nodded, ”Alright!”

Soon, a fierce battle occurred below, earth-shattering and brutally savage. Then a massive, crimson giant scorpion burst out from the black mist, fleeing in all directions.

”Stop them, don’t let them run. They are all points!”

Raelith Rhodes smiled as he shouted to Carson Flores, already striking out, countless water waves appeared in thin air, transforming into numerous tentacles that swept out, instantly entangling the fleeing Crystal Scorpions.

Whether intentionally allowed by Raelith Rhodes or due to lack of strength, a huge Crystal Scorpion slipped past the water waves, about to escape.

”Kaelen Flores, block it!”

”Alright!”

Carson Flores replied loudly, drawing the Nebula Sword, and flashed in front of the Crystal Scorpion.

The Crystal Scorpion let out a terrifying screech and charged, its large pincers lunging towards Carson Flores.
