The Female CEO's Personal Bodyguard

Chapter 1234: Chapter 1234: Either Kill You or Marry Me

Crap, caught in the act!

Carson Flores’s heart skipped a beat as he instinctively slammed his eyes shut, his heart thudding wildly.

It’s over!

She’s going to be angry, right?

She wouldn’t kill me, would she?

Although he had spent a lot of time with her and knew her quite well by now, it was normal for a woman to get angry over such matters after all.

More importantly, she had now completed her resurrection; if she really decided to burn bridges and kill him, it probably wouldn’t make any difference to her.

The air was eerily silent.

The sound of water coming from the basin indicated that Cristopher Hopkins Immortal had risen from the basin and then left it.

Carson Flores didn’t dare to open his eyes, fearing he might see something he shouldn’t.

”Fairy, congratulations, congratulations, after all the tribulations, you’ve finally turned the corner!”

Cristopher Hopkins Immortal didn’t respond.

Carson Flores’s nerves were fraying; he couldn’t be sure what kind of state Cristopher Hopkins Immortal would be in after her resurrection.

Who knows if everything before was just a facade?

Although the likelihood was low, the possibility still existed, right?

When in distress, one might hide their true self, only to reveal their true nature once their strength was returned—such things were not unheard of.

Moreover, he had seen her body—every hidden detail laid bare. This was serious.

A faint breeze stirred, bringing with it a delicate scent as Cristopher Hopkins Immortal, like a ghost, approached Carson Flores from behind and appeared there.

”You saw everything, didn’t you?”

Her voice, right at his ear, sounded distant and spectral like that of a beautiful ghost whispering hauntingly.

Carson Flores felt a chill run down his spine as he hastily denied, ”No, I didn’t see anything.”

Cristopher Hopkins Immortal spoke softly, ”Really? Remember, lying comes with its price.”

Sweat beaded on Carson Flores’s forehead as he found himself unable to continue lying; he knew full well she had seen him and, therefore, knew he had seen her.

His denial was merely offering a way out—if she didn’t press the issue, he could just tiptoe away from this awkward encounter, but she wasn’t stepping back.

”Fairy, I can’t be blamed for this, previously, you were invisible, and I couldn’t see anything. Now there was a commotion in the basin, I naturally had to pay attention to see what was going on... Who knew your invisibility would suddenly fail...”

Cristopher Hopkins Immortal’s tone remained spectral as she said, ”For thousands of years, no man has ever laid eyes on my body like you have. You’re the first. I feel grateful yet angry with you. So, what should we do?”

Carson Flores gave a sheepish smile, ”This was purely accidental, how about we both forget it? I can’t remember a thing now, honestly.”

Cristopher Hopkins Immortal humphed coldly, ”Forget? You think I’d believe that?”

Carson Flores, feeling helpless, replied, ”Then what do you suggest, Fairy?”

After a few seconds of silence, Cristopher Hopkins Immortal spoke softly, ”Now you have two choices, either I kill you, or you divorce your two wives and marry me. From now on, I must be the only one...”

Carson Flores fell silent, then, he opened his eyes, turned his head, and saw Cristopher Hopkins Immortal’s stunningly beautiful face.

”I don’t want to die, and while your favor is an honor, my wife and I have been through many life-and-death challenges before coming together. It’s not a bond I can simply set aside. I truly can’t sever my ties with them.”

Carson Flores flashed a grin, ”I understand you’re angry, Fairy, but considering all the help I’ve given you, can we negotiate? You beat me half to death to vent your frustrations, and then we go our separate ways, how about that?”

Cristopher Hopkins Immortal slowly extended her index finger towards Carson Flores’s forehead.

Carson Flores didn’t move.

In front of Cristopher Hopkins Immortal, all his tricks were useless; the gap in their strengths was too immense.

He was calm.

Her finger touched his forehead, then gently swiped sideways, wiping away the sweat beads from his brow.

Carson Flores was stunned. What was happening?

”Alright, you scoundrel, as hard and unyielding as a rock. Are you cursing me to death in your mind?”

Cristopher Hopkins Immortal withdrew her hand, her body drifting back, her voice suddenly light and playful, filled with the satisfaction of a successful prank: ”You saw my body, so I gave you a scare. Let’s call it even.”

Carson Flores’s eyes widened, ”Fairy, you were just scaring me?”

Cristopher Hopkins Immortal had changed into a set of Colorful Clothes, floating mid-air. The clothes billowed beautifully, too dazzling to look at directly.

”Otherwise, what? Do you really think I’d be so ungrateful as to kill you just because you inadvertently saw my body? But you must keep this to yourself, you can’t mention it to anyone. If you do and I find out, then you really will have to divorce your wives and marry me, otherwise, I’ll have no choice but to kill you. Even if I don’t, someone else will.”

Carson Flores heaved a sigh of relief and quickly agreed, ”Fairy, don’t worry, I’m not one to blab.”

Cristopher Hopkins Immortal, now without any glowing aura to hide her, was seen clearly by Carson Flores. She looked to be in her early twenties, young and beautiful, flawless like exquisite jade.

Cristopher Hopkins Immortal smiled, ”Do I look good?”
