Chapter 660: Chapter 660 So What if Delaney Hunter Protects, You’ll Still Die!_1

Katherine Reid pointed out a spot that was too far to see clearly, so Carson Flores casually took out a military telescope.

As the distant scenery magnified and became clear, after adjusting the position, Carson spotted the grade six lotus platform growing not far from the cave on the rock wall.

”Alright, I’ll go take a look!”

Katherine Reid quickly said, ”You go check if you can pick it. If you can, snatch it quickly and run. If you haven’t picked it yet and the Snow Dragon Leopard appears, then lead it towards the opposite direction. As long as you shake it off, circle back, and we’ll meet at the place we just met to share the grade six lotus platform.”

”Okay!”

Carson agreed cleanly, mounted his sword, and dashed down into the valley.

Watching Carson leave, Katherine Reid’s face showed a resentful and triumphant expression, while the man beside her laughed softly, ”Heh, he took the bait!”

Katherine Reid whispered instructions, ”Keep an eye on the situation. If he gets killed straightaway, we’ll retreat immediately. If he really leads the monster away, we should hurry to pick it.”

The man chuckled, ”That idiot is done for, how could he know that inside isn’t a Snow Dragon Leopard, but the Snow Dragon Leopard King? The strength is completely on a different level; it should be an instant kill.”

Katherine Reid’s face wore a smug look, ”I didn’t just make things up. Isn’t the Snow Dragon Leopard King also a Snow Dragon Leopard? Even if Delaney Hunter protects him, he’ll still die. I’d like to see who can save you this time!”

The man snickered in agreement, ”Even if he sends a distress signal, by the time Delaney Hunter arrives, he’ll probably have already been swallowed and digested by the Snow Dragon Leopard King.”

Katherine Reid watched gleefully as Carson approached the cave, ”Enjoy the show and let’s not let the Snow Dragon Leopard King discover us.”

Carson enveloped himself with the Black Turtle Shield while discreetly revealing the Water-Fire Mirror.

Even though Katherine Reid swore she was telling the truth, Carson didn’t believe her.

Carson had just cautiously approached the grade six lotus platform when a huge figure with a gust of cold wind burst out of the cave instantly.

Man and beast locked eyes in an instant.

Carson was taken aback; this was no Snow Dragon Leopard, but clearly a Snow Dragon Leopard King!

Although there was only a one-character difference, the gap in strength was like heaven and earth!

Carson immediately understood Katherine Reid’s plot. As he was preparing to retreat first, he found that the Snow Dragon Leopard King abruptly stepped back, its eyes filled with wariness and uncontrollable fear.

Was the Snow Dragon Leopard King afraid of him?

A thought crossed Carson’s mind, and as he looked behind the Snow Dragon Leopard King, seeing its half-tail, he came to his senses.

This was actually the same Snow Dragon Leopard King that he had injured before!

He had been searching for its den for so long without success, yet unexpectedly, it was here!

What a coincidence!

Worried that the beast would pounce on him, Carson shook the Water-Fire Mirror in his hand. Sure enough, the Snow Dragon Leopard King still remembered the previous encounter and instinctively stepped back again, but it refused to retreat into the cave, instead looking left and right, poised to flee.

Carson understood in an instant; the creature dared not retreat into the cave for fear of being trapped by him!

”I won’t kill you, don’t be nervous.”

Carson said spontaneously and noticed that the Snow Dragon Leopard King’s tense expression eased a bit.

Was this creature so intelligent that it could understand human speech?

Carson confirmed, ”You can understand me?”

The Snow Dragon Leopard King nodded its head.

Carson was astounded; it seemed that the Snow Dragon Leopard King had evolved significant intelligence, and must have had an encounter with cultivators. Otherwise, how could this beast understand human language?

Being able to communicate made things much simpler.

Without hesitation, Carson proposed, ”I won’t kill you, but you need to do something for me. There are a few more people over there, you can go kill and eat them, how about that?”

The Snow Dragon Leopard King breathed a sigh of relief; killing people, that was something it was good at.

After making the agreement, Carson suddenly turned around, mounted his sword, and flew towards the mountain where Katherine Reid was, like a frightened bird in a hurry.

The Snow Dragon Leopard King flapped its wings, took to the wind, and followed behind Carson as if it was about to kill him.

Katehrine Reid’s trio was watching from a distance, waiting for Carson to be killed by the Snow Dragon Leopard King, but when it emerged, it didn’t immediately attack. Man and beast seemed to be in a standoff.

While the trio was puzzled, Carson suddenly began to flee frantically, not in the agreed-upon direction but towards their location.

Seeing the Snow Dragon Leopard King closely pursuing Carson, the faces of Katherine Reid’s trio turned pale.

Fuck, Carson is leading the Snow Dragon Leopard King here!

At that moment, they had no spirit to curse Carson since it was they who had trapped him first. Now that he was being chased, they would surely rush back to die together.

The trio mounted their swords and fled quickly.

Carson suddenly dived, plummeting towards the ground. The Snow Dragon Leopard King followed suit, but it didn’t continue to pursue Carson. Instead, it went after the fleeing trio.
