Chapter 407: Chapter 251: No One Will Refuse Cash Power

However, removing it would be extremely difficult, especially with the spleen’s involvement. The average surgical team wouldn’t dare take on this case.

Today, Li Tian had invited Director Ma from the Jin Province Tumor Hospital over.

Director Ma carefully reviewed the imaging data and came to the same conclusion as the previous team:

”President Li, you see, Teacher Yang’s current condition is cirrhosis with a spleen mass. The tumor’s volume is enormous...”

”The best course of treatment is definitely a hepatic tumor resection, but the situation is very complex. With the spleen mass, our surgical team could perform the operation, but there’s a high risk of recurrence and a poor prognosis.”

”However, I do know a team that has developed a hepatic tumor resection procedure assisted by a combination of immune negative regulation technology and the Perfect Triple Method.”

”Although our hospital has also acquired the equipment for the Perfect Triple Method’s combined auxiliary system, we’ve only just started using it in clinical settings. We definitely can’t compare to the original team.”

”Furthermore, the core of their auxiliary system is a large AI model. The versions currently on the market are all commercial, stable releases. But their team uses their own product, which is three generations ahead—it’s a laboratory version.”

”Right now, their team’s system is connected to hepatic tumor departments of all sizes across Jin Country. Just from what I know, basically all the well-known hospitals in Xianglin City, Qinghe City, and Xiao City have adopted this system.”

”The system is networked with the database at their laboratory headquarters. This means their headquarters’ database receives feedback and collects all sorts of cases from the top tumor departments nationwide.”

”I can make a reasonable assumption: their database is the most likely place to find cases similar to Teacher Yang’s. They are also the team with the most experience in diagnosis and treatment, and the most capable of proposing the best surgical resection plan.”

”I suggest we invite this team—Deputy Director Wu Ting’s team from the Hepatic Tumor Surgery department at Fan City First Hospital—to come and give Teacher Yang a consultation.”

Director Ma had only provided the key information.

Therefore, Li Tian knew nothing else about Wu Ting.

”Fan City First Hospital?”

Li Tian was clearly skeptical. After all, in his eyes, Fan City was just some backwater, a hole-in-the-wall place.

Besides, this Wu Ting was just a deputy chief physician. He hardly had any prestige.

Director Ma noticed Li Tian’s skepticism and disdain and quickly explained:

”President Li, you shouldn’t underestimate this Director Wu. His team has been recognized by Jiuhua Hospital, Haijin Port Hospital, and Xuanshang University Affiliated Hospital.”

”I personally have the utmost admiration for Director Wu. Of course, this is just a suggestion. If you need me to, I can help you get in touch with him.”

Li Tian still had a great deal of respect for Director Ma, the head of Hepatic Tumor Surgery at Jin Province Tumor Hospital.

’I might as well give this Wu Ting a try,’ he thought.

’We’ll know if he’s any good after he takes a look.’

Li Tian had already arranged for several teams to come for consultations. The big shots he invited included a team from the Jin Province Tumor Hospital, the director of Hepatic Tumor Surgery at Jinggang University Affiliated First Hospital, and after them, Dean Chen from the Xianglin City Xuanshang University Affiliated Tumor Hospital.

Of course, these were all big shots with high status. He couldn’t have invited them on his own; his father had to step in to make the appointments.

He had also prepared their compensation. Whether they succeeded or not, he would give them the red envelope.

’For a man, having money is the ultimate source of confidence.’

These directors had high status, but for the sake of the money and his old man’s reputation, they would still come and participate in the diagnosis.

Just for showing up and giving a diagnosis, the fee was three to five hundred thousand. As for the actual surgery, that would run one or two million. Even if these directors were wealthy, they wouldn’t say no to money.

They got both face and fortune. So, Li Tian knew, no one would refuse the power of cash!

’Might as well give this Wu Ting a try anyway,’ he mused. ’Worst case, it’s just one trip. Considering his status and worth, spending one or two hundred thousand should be more than enough to make him weep with gratitude.’

”Director Ma, I’ll have to trouble you to get in touch with him for me. If it works out, there’ll be an extra red envelope in it for you as a thank you.”

Li Tian’s tone was still very polite. After all, Director Ma was a man of considerable standing.

”You’re too kind, President Li.”

Director Ma was quite fond of money, so he immediately called Wu Ting.

”Hello, Director Wu? This is the director of Hepatic Tumor Surgery at the Jin Province Tumor Hospital. I’m Zhang Heng’s old boss. I visited your hospital for an exchange before... Yes, yes, that’s right... I have a patient here who I’d like to ask you to come and help diagnose...”
