Ice Age Apocalypse: I Hoard Billions of Supplies

Yenatai released the collars of the mastiffs, speaking softly in the local language of the Snowy Region, ”Go!”

”Roar!!”

The three massive mastiffs roared with excitement.

They had been restrained by Yenatai for too long, and today they could finally act according to their nature.

The three mastiffs charged across the snow like dragons, speeding forward to tear the enemy before them to shreds!

And Yenatai himself wasn’t idle either.

He held the vajra rod in his right hand, raised his left hand before his chest, and murmured a Buddhist chant.

Suddenly, a sacred golden light erupted from his body!

His dharma robes were tattered and dirty, but under the illumination of this Buddha’s light, he actually appeared tall and majestic, even holy.

Behind him, the faint silhouette of a massive Buddha slowly materialized.

The Buddha’s hand held a flower, a smile of compassion for all living beings on its face as it lowered its head to gaze upon Liang Yue in the distance, and indeed, upon the entire military formation of the Pagyi Family.

The golden Buddha’s light enveloped the three Snowy Plateau Mastiffs, their fur dyed a sacred golden hue.

They charged like tigers, like divine beasts sent to vanquish demons, roaring as they rushed towards Liang Yue!

Hua Hua sensed their killing intent, a cold glint flashing in its lazy eyes.

It shot out from Liang Yue’s clothes.

A blurry afterimage streaked through the air, impossible for the naked eye to follow.

The three mastiffs, charging forward with such ferocious momentum, suddenly let out a miserable, sorrowful cry.

The sound of chewing could be heard. The fiercer their initial charge, the more pitiful their current state.

No one saw what happened.

Only that in the next moment, the three mastiffs seemed to have been pecked hard by something, their charging bodies falling to the ground one after another.

Yenatai, shrouded in Buddha’s light, was also stunned for a moment.

Then, the muscles on his face began to twitch violently.

Because he saw that the three mastiffs he had painstakingly raised were actually pinned to the ground by an orange tabby cat, which was voraciously devouring their brains!

The three mastiffs were killed by Hua Hua in an instant.

Utterly unconcerned with the onlookers, it stepped on their huge heads and began pickily eating their delicious brains.

The entire field fell silent.

Only the ”crunch, crunch” sound of chewing could be heard. Everyone’s minds seemed to have crashed.

Those three incredibly powerful mastiffs, which had once caused humans immense trouble on the Snowy Plateau, were killed so easily, in an instant?

Only a few people around Zhang Yi knew.

Hua Hua was the true second-in-command in terms of combat power within Zhang Yi’s team.

On the surface, Liang Yue was the one fighting, but in reality, Hua Hua was the true safety net.

However, to avoid exposing their identities, Zhang Yi had told Hua Hua not to reveal its true form.

But even in its current form, slaughtering those three mastiffs was as easy as eating beans for it.

Deji’s expression changed drastically. Everything happened too suddenly, making his hands, hidden in his sleeves, tremble uncontrollably.

What he had thought was a guaranteed victory had now become a joke.

Not only had Yenatai’s three mastiffs been killed, but now Yenatai also had to face both Liang Yue and a cat of immeasurable power simultaneously!

Just the ability to instantly kill three mastiffs meant its superhuman ability index definitely wouldn’t be below 9800 points!

Even more terrifying to consider, that tabby cat could probably take on Yenatai alone!

On the side of the allied forces, gloom was written on almost everyone’s face.

The sudden shift in the battle situation had caught them completely off guard.

Including Yenatai, who was in the midst of casting his technique. He was also dumbfounded for a long moment, at a loss for words.

Liang Yue drew her sword and stepped forward. She said to Hua Hua, ”Hua Hua, just cover me from the side.”

She didn’t deliberately lower her voice, so Yenatai could hear her too.

In other words, Liang Yue was telling Yenatai: if I can’t handle you, my battle beast will step in.

Yenatai’s face paled slightly as he tightened his grip on the vajra rod.

Now, an invisible pressure weighed on his mind.

He had to fight Liang Yue while also guarding against that mutated cat demon that could charge at him and kill him at any moment.

But now, the allied forces were in a predicament. Even knowing the situation wasn’t favorable, they couldn’t afford to lose even more.

They could only grit their teeth and place all their bets on Yenatai.

Liang Yue raised her long sword. With a flash of movement, she sped towards Yenatai like a swift gale.

This speed was even faster than Suolang Deji’s from before, simply like a raging wind!

Yenatai chanted the Buddha’s name, a ruthless glint flashing in his eyes.

If he retreated, Deji would definitely punish him. Not only would he lose face, but he would also suffer a fate worse than death.

Better to fight to the death here. Perhaps there was still a chance for a turnaround.

”Amitabha!”

He chanted the Buddha’s name, and the holy light around his body suddenly surged even more violently.

The massive Buddha silhouette near him grew more solid. A sacred radiance shone from the Buddha statue, illuminating the sky.

In an instant, the Buddha’s light pierced through the dark clouds in the sky. From within the thick clouds, one after another, beams of pure, holy light descended warmly.

Liang Yue was currently closing in on Yenatai at her fastest speed. Her nimble legs carried her across the snowy plain like a cheetah’s.

But suddenly, she felt the Buddha’s light descending from the sky, enveloping her.

”Sss... sss...”

A sound like small knives scraping against metal reached her ears. The armor’s Smart System immediately issued a warning.

”Armor under attack. Damage level: 0.01%, 0.02%, 0.03%...”

Liang Yue glanced quickly and indeed saw the color on her armor slowly fading, as if being finely scratched by something.

She instinctively looked up at the sky. Only now did she realize that Yenatai’s holy light attack was a wide-area, indiscriminate assault.

”Good thing I’m wearing the armor Ke Ran made.”

Liang Yue thought to herself.

Otherwise, trying to withstand it with just her body, even if she didn’t suffer serious injury, it would affect her movements. The pain would be real.

Liang Yue increased her speed. She was now less than a hundred meters away from Yenatai.

When facing an opponent skilled in long-range attacks, close the distance and fight up close!

Yenatai, finding his attack ineffective against Liang Yue, was also somewhat surprised. He then noticed the armor on Liang Yue’s body was blocking his assault.

This shocked Yenatai immensely.

On the Snowy Plateau, powerful superhumans also wore combat suits, mostly purchased from other major regions since the Southwest Region’s own technological level wasn’t very high.

But even those combat suits could hardly withstand his attack.

What kind of technological product was this, to be so strong?

No wonder he was shocked.

This was the first time Lu Keran’s technological product had appeared on a formal battlefield. Its defensive capabilities and overall combat performance were now first-class by global standards.

Let alone in the relatively technologically backward Southwest Region. The exoskeleton armor crafted by Lu Keran was leagues ahead of anything else here!
