Ice Age Apocalypse: I Hoard Billions of Supplies

Lhobu followed beside Zhang Yi and the others, his face full of ingratiation. After all, these were guests his master had specifically ordered to be served with the utmost courtesy and hospitality.

Zhang Yi was quite satisfied with everything here.

However, after thinking for a moment, he still said, ”Take away one room. We only need three rooms.”

He then looked at Fatty Xu and Old You. ”E and D will share one room. I’ll stay in the middle. Your two rooms will be next to mine.”

After all, this wasn’t their territory. It was better to stay close and watch out for each other.

Fatty Xu and Old You naturally had no objections.

And so, the arrangements were settled satisfactorily.

Knowing Zhang Yi and the others intended to bathe, Lhobu summoned dozens of young, beautiful maidservants to attend to them.

He even thoughtfully asked Liang Yue, ”Miss, might you require any... special services? The men of our Pagyi Family are all robust and powerfully built fellows.”

Liang Yue’s face flushed crimson instantly. Frowning with annoyance, she said, ”I do not need that!”

Liang Yue’s reaction startled Lhobu. Such matters weren’t considered a big deal in the Snowy Region.

Among the nobility, both men and women often had rather... rich life experiences.

A knowing, hard-to-read smile tugged at the corner of Zhang Yi’s mouth. He waved a hand at Lhobu. ”We don’t need that kind of service. Thank you for your kindness.”

Old You and Fatty Xu had initially felt a bit of a stir. After all, opportunities to play the part of a wealthy lord like this were rare.

But since Zhang Yi had spoken, they could only give up the idea.

It wasn’t that Zhang Yi was particularly noble or high-minded.

It was just that being newcomers here, they had to be cautious in everything. Moreover, Zhang Yi genuinely wasn’t impressed by the local women.

It’s always easier to go from frugality to luxury than from luxury back to frugality. Seeing a bunch of beauties, big and small, at home every day, he really couldn’t bring himself to look twice at ordinary, common beauties.

Soon, Lhobu had people start filling the baths with hot water.

What flowed from the pipes wasn’t water, but steaming hot milk.

Zhang Yi immediately called out Mu Yan and shooed her into the room next door with Liang Yue.

With the room to himself, Zhang Yi rolled his neck and began undressing to bathe.

In the steaming milk-filled bath, Zhang Yi placed a device to detect whether it contained any elements harmful to the body.

If any anomalous elements appeared, the device would alarm immediately.

Only after confirming it was safe did Zhang Yi step into the pool.

Although there was a large jacuzzi at home, it was considerably smaller compared to this.

Zhang Yi lay in the bath, feeling the warm milk envelop him, his entire body utterly relaxed.

He narrowed his eyes, but his mind wandered outside, silently calculating, running through the next steps of the plan once more.

First, he absolutely had to verify whether the so-called Demon Kingdom beneath the Great Snow Mountain truly existed.

Figuring this out would be easy.

He just needed to find an opportunity to sneak over.

With his abilities, he could do it completely undetected. No one in the entire Southwest Region would be able to discover him.

Just at that moment, Zhang Yi’s ears caught the sound of extremely light, deliberate footsteps outside the door.

A flicker of something unusual passed through his eyes as he looked towards it.

The door opened gently.

Zhang Yi remembered locking it from the inside, yet it had still opened.

This put Zhang Yi on high alert. His ability, All Things Follow Traces, was already activated.

Immediately, he saw a woman enter the room, and with practiced ease, she closed the door behind her.

She was a beautiful woman, different from the pretty maidservants he had seen earlier.

Though she also wore traditional Snowy Region ethnic attire, her clothing was more splendid, and her features were even more captivating.

Her skin was like ice and snow, uncommon in the Snowy Region. Her tall, slender figure stood around 1.75 meters. As she walked step by step towards Zhang Yi, she carried the air of an international supermodel.

”Who are you?” Zhang Yi asked in a seemingly languid tone.

The woman stopped about two meters from Zhang Yi’s pool. She gazed at him with large, dewy eyes, then bowed her head respectfully.

”Honored guest, I am here to attend to your bath.”

Zhang Yi blinked, then caught on.

Although he had just refused Lhobu’s offer, someone as shrewd as Lhobu wouldn’t be foolish enough to do nothing.

He had saved the best for Zhang Yi alone, as Zhang Yi was clearly the leader of the group.

But at this moment, were there similar arrangements in the neighboring rooms?

Zhang Yi had no way of knowing.

Before Zhang Yi could even speak, the woman, right in front of him, reached out and began unbuttoning her garment.

Her clothes were easy to undo. It seemed she merely opened a few clasps, and then all her clothing fell to the floor.

Revealing her nearly perfect figure.

Zhang Yi was not a lecherous man... Well, he was a normal man. Faced with such a beautiful body before him, even he couldn’t help but be momentarily stunned.

It was an appreciation of beauty.

This form was as beautiful as a goddess from an oil painting, a clear testament that Pagyi Gesang had gone to considerable trouble to entertain Zhang Yi.

However, Zhang Yi felt not the slightest stirring of desire.

It wasn’t because Zhang Yi was noble, but because at this moment, he hadn’t completely let down his guard.

Therefore, any food easily delivered to his lips, he would default to considering poisoned.

The more beautiful the woman, the more potent the poison.

So, faced with a woman delivered to his door, his heart surged with intense vigilance.

”Please, allow me to attend to your bath!” the woman said, lifting her head to reveal a brilliant smile, then stepping towards the bath.

A trace of amusement appeared at the corner of Zhang Yi’s mouth, but his tone was cold. ”No need.”

The woman’s steps froze in place. She seemed not to have expected to be refused.

”Am I... not beautiful?” she asked, looking at Zhang Yi with a hint of grievance, as if glistening tears were welling in her eyes.

Zhang Yi frowned, clearly growing impatient.

”I have no interest in you. Get out!” His tone had turned somewhat stern.

The woman’s body stiffened slightly. Silently, she picked up her clothes from the floor, dressed, and left Zhang Yi’s room.

Zhang Yi watched her retreating back. For some reason, he felt there was something strange about this woman’s figure.

It was an indescribable, elusive feeling. Zhang Yi himself didn’t understand where this sense of oddness came from.

But with her gone, no one would disturb his bath anymore.

After the woman left, Zhang Yi let out a long breath. ”Trying to play the honey trap with me? That’s really looking down on me, Zhang Yi!”

Suppressing a certain restless heat within, Zhang Yi closed his eyes and comfortably enjoyed the warmth brought by the milk bath.

However, just moments later, a sudden scream from outside shattered the tranquility.
