Ice Age Apocalypse: I Hoard Billions of Supplies

Liang Yue and Mu Yan both focused their attention on Drolma and Chodak.

The Southwest Region’s population was not large, and the number of high-level superhumans was even smaller.

If not for the mysterious Esoteric Buddhist Sect, whether this place could even produce an Epsilon-level superhuman was questionable.

So superhumans like Drolma and Chodak, who were at the squad leader level, were already incredibly powerful existences.

But it was quite clear that Drolma’s strength was not on par with Chodak’s.

Her physique was only half of Chodak’s, and in terms of raw power, she was almost completely overwhelmed by him.

Chodak’s arms were like two massive vajra pestles, raining down a furious barrage of blows on Drolma’s body, like a pile driver without a moment’s pause!

Although Drolma’s frame was smaller than Chodak’s, her reaction speed offered no advantage.

After just a brief exchange, her several attempts to counterattack were ruthlessly dismantled by Chodak.

What followed was an even more frenzied assault!

Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom!

A continuous roar of impacts echoed, like the concentrated fire of an entire artillery battalion raining down on the camp.

Chodak’s fists were more terrifying than artillery shells. He cared not one bit for the lives of those around him, his sole focus was on pounding the female werewolf before him into pulp!

The shockwaves from the battle directly caused everyone in their path to die, many unable to even retain complete bodies.

Just the force from Chodak’s swinging fists could easily send dozens of serfs flying.

Drolma wielded a long whip, using techniques to redirect and dissipate the force to desperately withstand Chodak’s savage attacks.

However, the deflected force inevitably transferred elsewhere.

The area was packed with people, and the death toll from their battle quickly soared past a hundred!

Drolma gritted her teeth. They had come here to save people, but now these very people were being dragged into the fight and killed. She felt a deep sense of helplessness.

But the fight was already underway, and she wouldn’t soften her heart just because of these deaths.

She was a warrior. Warriors were not men or women, only the living and the dead.

Those who softened their hearts would surely die!

The terrified serfs’ eyes were practically bulging out of their sockets as they cried out in panic for their parents.

Some believers of the esoteric sect clasped their hands together, kneeling on the ground in anguish.

”Buddha! Please punish these vile demons! It is their arrival that has brought us this calamity. They are all evil fiends who harm people!”

In their terror, many serfs looked toward the resistance army, their eyes filled with hatred.

If not for your arrival, we could at least live on as pigs and dogs.

But you came, and now we die immediately.

Why must you stop us from being pigs and dogs?

This present suffering is merely for the pleasures of the next life. You are disturbing our spiritual cultivation.

But right now, neither the Pagyi Family’s private soldiers nor the resistance army cared one bit about what they thought.

Whoever won would be right.

If the private soldiers won, they would take a beating, and if they were lucky enough to survive, they would continue living as pigs and dogs, waiting for death on some future day.

If the resistance army won and took them away, they would also happily kneel down and call them apostles of the heavenly gods.

Liang Yue watched the ongoing battle. Based on her experience, she judged that Drolma’s overall combat power index, meaning the superhuman ability index for combat-type superhumans, was at most around 9,500 points.

Even a few months ago, when Liang Yue’s own ability index was only 9,500 points, she would have had a chance to instantly kill Drolma at close range.

Her technique was too crude, relying solely on brute strength and powerful abilities.

If she continued fighting Chodak, she would definitely be defeated in no more than five minutes!

In her heart, Liang Yue did not want the resistance army to fail. She was already leaning toward the belief that the resistance army were the good guys.

Moreover, she still hoped the resistance army could rescue those pitiful women in the dungeon.

Liang Yue bit her lip and finally made a decision.

”I have to help them!”

Mu Yan looked at Liang Yue, her expression unchanged.

”Aren’t you afraid of exposing your identity? This might affect Zhang Yi’s plans.”

Liang Yue said, ”Don’t worry. I am proficient in over three hundred martial arts, including the staff techniques and fist-and-foot styles of the esoteric sect. They won’t recognize me. After all, reinforcement-type superhumans are the hardest to distinguish.”

”But Mu Yan, this time you have to help me. We need to figure out a way for these resistance fighters to rescue those poor women.”

When she brought this up, Mu Yan immediately fell silent.

The miserable state of those women was something no woman could bear to witness.

If the two of them didn’t seize this opportunity today, there might not be another chance.

Mu Yan pondered for a long while before slowly nodding.

”You must conceal your identity properly. I’ll lead them to rescue the people.”

”Let’s be clear, I will not take action. So even if your identity is exposed, it’s your own affair.”

Liang Yue gave a faint smile. ”Okay.”

On the other side, forced into a one-on-one with Chodak, Drolma had been completely dominated from the very beginning!

Whether in combat experience or superhuman ability index, she was far inferior to the Pagyi Family’s private soldier commander-in-chief.

She could only rely on the agility of her Beastman Type to desperately dodge.

But continuing like this, she also knew defeat was inevitable.

A chill began to spread in Drolma’s heart. Her comrades were fully occupied and had no chance to come help her escape.

If she fell into these people’s hands, she knew better than anyone what a terrifying outcome awaited.

In that case, her only choice would be suicide!

However, just as Drolma found herself in a desperate situation, a cool, detached woman’s voice suddenly came through her earpiece.

”I can help you deal with this guy.”

The combat suit Drolma wore was looted from a chieftain’s private soldier and then crudely modified with some basic smart systems.

This equipment was quite outdated, and the smart system only possessed rudimentary functions.

Therefore, the high-end gear on Liang Yue could easily hack into her combat suit and communicate with her directly.

The abrupt voice startled Drolma at first, but the current situation left her no time to ponder it.

She executed a sideways roll, clumsily dodging a punch from Chodak.

Boom!

The large expanse of ice beneath her was shattered directly, and the hard-packed snow within several hundred meters cracked with spiderweb-like fissures.

”Who are you?”

Drolma asked, panting heavily. At this point, she could only grasp at straws.

Liang Yue’s voice continued, ”I’ll help you deal with this guy. There’s a compound three kilometers northeast of here. Over a hundred women are imprisoned underground. I want you to rescue them and get them out!”

”If you agree, I’ll step in to help you immediately.”

Upon hearing this, Drolma’s heart jolted violently. She exclaimed with wild joy, ”You know where they are? That’s exactly who we came looking for! Some of those people are my sisters! I accept your condition!”

Liang Yue took a deep breath, suddenly raised her head, and reached up to lower her mask.

”Good, I’m coming!”
