The Lovely Heiress Is Actually A God Beast

Chapter 487: Chapter 487 Feeling Delicious

“That won’t do, I’ve never eaten any of it, but giving you some that I’ve already bitten into, that’s so disrespectful!”

Xiao Lingzhi picked up a bun, closed her eyes, and gnawed away at it messily, mumbling, “I can finish it myself!”

Little Taotie saw her like this and didn’t know what to say anymore.

Suddenly, an egg, a large steamed bun, a meat bun, and a bowl of soup were pushed in front of her!

As Little Taotie followed the skinny arm that did it, she saw King of Film Xu smiling awkwardly, “Please, help me eat these too!”

Little Taotie instantly puffed up her cheeks, looking really upset!

Little Steamed Bun was truly full.

Xiao Lingzhi had eaten an egg and a meat bun, and she was actually full, too.

What was the deal with Father Xu?

He didn’t eat a thing!

Again, Little Taotie glanced at King of Film Xu’s bony, vein-ridden hand and stood up, walking over to him, huffing and puffing.

King of Film Xu: “…” He was somewhat startled.

Little Taotie yanked on him forcefully, and the already frail King of Film Xu was pulled to a chair and made to sit down.

Little Taotie quite liked the change in viewpoint, no longer having to look up at him.

Little Taotie pointed at the food on the table, then pointed at King of Film Xu, huffing and puffing, “Father Xu, only you’re picky, look at everyone!”

Little Taotie’s gaze turned to the students in the classroom, who were enjoying their meal.

King of Film Xu followed her gaze and could faintly hear the students’ whispers.

“Is it because the celebrity teachers are here that we get to have meat buns?”

“We don’t usually get meat buns!”

“So tasty, so good!”

Their regular fare was just an egg, two substantial steamed buns, and a bowl of soup, with a bit of minced meat sometimes added to the shepherd’s purse tofu soup.

Each person getting a large meat bun like today happened only during festivals or special occasions.

Or when kind uncles and aunties made additional donations, then the meals could possibly improve.

After all, with so many students to feed breakfast and lunch, the school also had to budget carefully, so eggs and milk were always on hand to ensure nutrition, and other things were somewhat lacking.

King of Film Xu sighed, really not feeling like eating, even before his anorexia, he never ate shepherd’s purse tofu soup.

“How can you waste food!” Little Taotie scolded with her hands on her hips, looking fierce.

King of Film Xu looked at her with puppy-dog eyes, “You help me eat it, then it won’t be wasted.”

“I won’t eat it!” Little Taotie said firmly, “You eat it yourself!”

Meeting the little girl’s round, accusing, glistening eyes, and seeing her cheeks puff out, her cute and pouty expression, King of Film Xu didn’t feel scared, but rather, his hand felt a bit itchy, wanting to pet Xiao Zaizai!

Little Taotie started to mutter, “The farmers work so hard growing crops, tofu is hard to make, you have to grind soybeans into milk…”

King of Film Xu: “…”

“Are you even listening to me!” Little Taotie stomped her foot, glaring at him.

King of Film Xu sighed, “I understand the logic, but I just can’t eat it.”

“You’re not being obedient!” Little Taotie rubbed her hands together.

King of Film Xu’s sweat started to drop, “Are you going to hit me?”

Little Taotie picked up an egg and tapped it, peeling it while looking at him quizzically, “I’m peeling an egg.”

King of Film Xu heaved a sigh of relief.

To be honest, if Little Taotie were to get physical, he, a grown man, would really… not be able to win!

Little Taotie peeled the egg clean, revealing the soft, round, and springy egg! It looked so appetizing.

“Look, it seems so delicious!”

King of Film Xu shook his head, “I don’t feel that it’s tasty.”

Little Taotie took a big bite, eating half of it, revealing the golden yolk inside. Her eyes curved with happiness, cheeks puffed, Little Dimple shallow, a picture of contentment.

King of Film Xu swallowed, “I feel it now… it’s tasty.”
