The Lovely Heiress Is Actually A God Beast

Chapter 484: Chapter 484: Planning to Donate Money for Merit

“Hmph! How do you know they can’t learn if you don’t teach them? Don’t you underestimate people!” Xiao Lingzhi huffed at him forcefully.

Gu Yixing: “I’m afraid of hurting them.”

Gu Yixing remembered how as a child he was forced to stretch and practice dancing; he always got hurt while doing somersaults, and frowned: “I won’t teach dancing.”

Xiao Lingzhi stuck out her tongue at him and made a face: “Stingy!”

Little Taotie grasped Gu Yixing’s hand, speaking softly in a childlike voice: “Brother Xingxing, you teach them Sword dance.”

Little Taotie remembered when filming the television series, she played the role of Brother Xingxing’s sister, and Brother Xingxing had a segment where he performed a Sword dance. At that time, the onlooking crowd was astonished, and Little Taotie felt the same.

Gu Yixing was startled, then squatted down and asked, “Do you want to see me perform a Sword dance?”

Little Taotie nodded vigorously with her little head, “Yes!”

“Well then, I’ll teach them Sword dance.” Gu Yixing hesitated for a moment, frowning: “Let me think of some simple moves to avoid injuries.”

Everyone got ready for everything, and this time the program team acted decently, even arranging a car to pick them up.

The minibus wound its way up Pan Mountain, shaking and swaying. Xiao Lingzhi covered her chest, not daring to look outside.

Little Taotie, on the other hand, was extremely excited, her large eyes constantly peering outside. At every turn, she would exclaim in a tiny voice, “That’s impressive!”

…

The elementary school before them appeared quite new and formal, indicative that those who built the school had put their hearts into it.

The school had two floors with a total of five classes, one class for the small group, two for the medium group, and two for the large group.

Instead of clearly dividing grades one through five, it was more vaguely segmented into small, medium, and large groups.

The homeroom teacher for the small group was a volunteer teacher.

He was a college graduate who had not been out of school for long, with a pair of black-framed glasses, looking neat and tidy.

“Hello, this is the list of students, and from now on, it’s in your hands.”

King of Film Xu took it, nodding in thanks.

Upon entering the classroom, it was much better than expected, with no sight of broken desks or chairs, but all brand-new ones instead.

“There are many kind-hearted people in our society these days, and unlike before, when they donated money and left everything else to be exploited by the unscrupulous, people now check where their donations go. They also demand photos to see what exactly was bought for the children. This is a good practice,” King of Film Xu commented.

Little Taotie blinked her big eyes, listening intently.

Xiao Lingzhi had told her before that donating money could also be considered an act of Merit.

It was as if she had opened the door to a new world, her eyes sparkled more and more, thinking about asking her big brother how much money she had earned recently when she got back!

The first class was taught by King of Film Xu.

King of Film Xu taught Chinese class, asked the class monitor what they had covered, and then taught by the book in a standard manner.

Twenty students recited aloud, none of them just pretending to know; all were genuinely and loudly reading.

Cheng Lu sat in the last row, lowering her voice: “These are good children; they really cherish the opportunity to study.”

Gu Yixing looked at the children and pursed his lips, saying nothing.

After Chinese class ended, it was Cheng Lu’s turn to go up.

The second class was a performance class.

Cheng Lu taught the children to act in pantomime, and the kids were all very serious about learning; they didn’t have interest classes normally, so they found it very novel and fun.

The third class was supposed to be taught by Gu Yixing, but Xiao Lingzhi couldn’t wait any longer and rushed to take the lead.

To display her top-notch professional level, Xiao Lingzhi stood at the lectern, the little girl was very steady and earnestly said:

“I will teach everyone to sing; I’ve been learning opera recently.”

“Opera singing uses a lower laryngeal position for vocalizing, thereby producing a bright, full, relaxed, mellow voice, accompanied by a metallic resonance.”

“It emphasizes coherent phrases with a flexible voice, balancing strength and softness, with a style of singing that is predominantly soft.”

Cheng Lu gave a thumbs up and said to King of Film Xu: “This child is very professional!”

King of Film Xu nodded: “Xiao Lingzhi is excellent.”

Little Taotie’s eyes shined brightly, marveling, “Xiao Lingzhi is so smart! Will I be able to do the same after I start school?”

Gu Yixing stroked Little Taotie’s head and said with a gentle smile: “Little Taotie is also very smart. When you start school, there will be interest classes arranged, and then you can sign up for whatever you like.”

Little Taotie knew that schools offered interest classes, but she hadn’t decided what to take yet. She had asked Hua Jinyan, and he said to follow him.

Little Taotie became worried: “I haven’t figured out what to learn yet…”
