The Lovely Heiress Is Actually A God Beast

Chapter 454: Chapter 454: Missing a Grandfather Chapter 454: Chapter 454: Missing a Grandfather Little Taotie tilted her head, a look of confusion on her face, as she stared at her fingers and then looked at Tao Mo and Tian Leran, her baby voice carrying a hint of helplessness, “I… want to go see him, I never meant to hurt him that badly…”

“I was wrong…”

She lowered her little head, her face full of guilt and self-reproach.

In the past, when she had hurt someone, she was forced to apologize, yet even though she apologized, her heart was filled with frustration and grievance, devoid of any guilt.

But now, she wasn’t being forcefully made to apologize, rather, it came from a genuine realization that hurting others was wrong.

Tian Leran reached out to pat her head, gentle and kindly, “Let’s buy some tasty things and visit him in the hospital.”

Little Taotie nodded vigorously, her eyes sparkling, “I have fruit cans! They’re so tasty, let’s give him some!”

“He will definitely feel your sincerity and apology.”

Little Taotie ran back to the room to fetch her luggage, retrieving a can of yellow peaches and another can of oranges.

The peaches in the glass jar were sliced in half, bobbing up and down, looking very tempting. In the can of oranges, slices of bright orange were swimming in syrup, each slice plump and juicy, even more enticing.

Little Taotie only took two cans, as she looked at the slices of orange in the glass jar and swallowed hard, she resisted the temptation and packed them into her backpack, deciding to give them all to the little boy.

Even though he was mean and threw stones at her, she shouldn’t have hurt him.

Little Taotie sighed softly, muttering under her breath, “It’s all because I’m naturally strong.”

Outside, Xiao Lingzhi’s whining voice could be heard, “No, no, I won’t let go, I want to learn sword fighting!”

Little Taotie, with her backpack on, ran out to see, only to find King of Film Xu and Cheng Lu struggling to pry Xiao Lingzhi off Tao Mo’s legs, but Xiao Lingzhi clung on desperately, flailing her legs trying to kick King of Film Xu and Cheng Lu away.

King of Film Xu and Cheng Lu were drenched in sweat, yet still failed to remove Xiao Lingzhi, quite helplessly.

Little Taotie quickly ran over, got in front of Xiao Lingzhi, and in a milky voice asked, “Do you really want to learn sword fighting with Grandpa Fensi, or do you want Grandpa Fensi to be your grandpa?”

“Kids make choices! I want both!” Xiao Lingzhi howled, “I want to learn sword fighting~~~ I want a cool grandpa~~~”

The corner of Cheng Lu’s mouth twitched: Isn’t she just a little kid!

“Didn’t you say you have a grandpa who loves you very much? If your real grandpa found out you acknowledged someone else as your grandpa, he would definitely be angry,” Little Taotie reasoned with her in a babyish tone, “You can’t be greedy, everyone can only have one grandpa.”

Little Taotie sighed inwardly: With Grandpa Fensi here, the grandpa from the mountains left.

“I want both! I want my real grandpa and the cool grandpa!”

“But… being greedy will mean having one less grandpa.”

Xiao Lingzhi, who was in mid-shout, was stunned, disbelieving as she looked at Little Taotie, “What did you say?”

“Back in the mountains, I had a grandpa who loved me very much. Then I met Grandpa Fensi, who also loves me a lot. Not long after, the grandpa from the mountains… passed away.” Little Taotie drooped her head, sighing softly.

Xiao Lingzhi let go immediately, jumping ten steps away, keeping her distance from Tao Mo.

She patted her chest in fright, “That won’t do, my real grandpa is the best, irreplaceable! I want my grandpa to live a long life!”

Tao Mo breathed a sigh of relief and shook his legs, they were about to go numb.

While Xiao Lingzhi ran off, Little Taotie briskly walked up to Tao Mo and hugged his leg.

Tao Mo was startled, but luckily the motion of shaking his leg wasn’t too strong, otherwise, he would have kicked his dear granddaughter.

Little Taotie hugged Tao Mo’s leg, lifted her head, and called out softly, “Grandpa Fensi!”
