Chapter 900:- Lauraʼs Past from the Diary

”Whatʼs happening?” Hearing the voice, everyone looked to their right. They saw Aditya and Lilith walking towards them.

Everyone became silent, seeing them approaching.

Aditya looked at the girls and felt that he could somewhat guess what might have been happening before he, together with Lilith, arrived here.

At that time, Watson came from the kitchen. ”Your Majesty, breakfast is ready!”

Watsonʼs words seem to give the main two culprits an escape route. Both of them stood up and hurriedly walked towards the dining table as if they hadnʼt had a meal in ages.

”Another catfight?” Aditya asked Julia as she walked beside him.

The Goddess of Alchemy nodded with a smile.

”Poor Lara nearly got dragged into this mess.” Julia patted Laraʼs head.

”Donʼt worry, Lara. As long as I am here, I wonʼt allow anyone to drag you into their fight.” She knew that Lara was too innocent and precious to say anything mean, even if it was meant to be a joke.

Being sheltered from the outside world due to her strange illness, she still has many things to learn.

But thatʼs what she loved about her little sister, and it made everyone want to protect and cherish their little Vampire Princess.

”Haha! I donʼt think anyone is going to bully Lara.” Even Lilith was very soft and gentle with her. Even if she teased Lara, she always stayed soft on her.

Lilith, who was walking on his left, looked at Lara and just smiled.

••

Laura arrived at the dining table with her personal maid, Kate. As soon as she sat down, she immediately noticed the invisible flying electric sparks between Riya and Alicia.

She wasnʼt blind to the tension. In fact, she was good at reading the atmosphere, and it didnʼt take her long to understand what was happening. The energy between them wasnʼt fueled by anger or resentment—nothing that dramatic. Instead, it felt more like a lighthearted rivalry, the kind where two people were constantly trying to outdo each other, but in a way that was almost playful. It was as if an unspoken competition was unfolding right in front of her, and neither Riya nor Alicia was willing to back down.

ʼDid I miss anything?ʼ She thought to herself but then decided to not ask anything.

”Alright! Now that everyone is present, I want to tell everyone what I found yesterday.” Aditya put his fork down and straightened his back. His eyes scanned everyoneʼs faces before settling on Laura.

”Laura, youʼre not going to believe this, but youʼre the Goddess of Wisdom.”

Everyone around the table became silent.

Never in her wildest dreams did she expect to wake up this morning and be told that she was the Goddess of Wisdom.

The moment the words reached her ears and registered in her mind, the first thing she did was look at his face, carefully studying his expression. She noticed that he wasnʼt joking. His eyes looked very serious. In fact, everything about him was serious.

In fact, this was the most serious she had ever seen him.

Realizing that he wasnʼt lying or joking, her expression slightly changed.

Her eyes widened slightly. Her mouth opened as if she wanted to say something, but the information was so overwhelming that she couldnʼt even understand what to say first.

Her maidʼs reaction was even more intense. She widened her eyes the very moment he said those words. She hurriedly looked at Lady Laura before looking at Aditya as if wanting to confirm whether what she heard was true or not.

”But...!!” After one word, she struggled to say anything else as she had too many questions that she wanted to ask at once.

Sigh.....!!

ʼI had expected this kind of reaction. Fortunately, I knew.ʼ Otherwise, her reaction would be the same as everyone elseʼs reaction.

Everyone was stunned.

Aditya looked around and noticed everyoneʼs reactions.

Sigh.....!!

”Look, I know that you all have your doubts and questions that you all want to ask. But let me finish, and then you all can ask me whatever you want.” Everyone simultaneously nodded their heads.

”Everything that I am about to say to you all isnʼt made up. I gained this info from this personal diary.” Aditya showed them the diary of that Succubus.

”So letʼs start with you, Laura.” Laura slowly nodded her head.

Since the day she woke up in the house of that old man who adopted her, she has been searching for her past.

Her past has been the biggest mystery of her whole life.

Now, she was about to learn more about her past.

”Youʼre The Goddess of Wisdom, but at the same time, youʼre also not....!!”

”Wha....!!”

Aditya raised his hand and gestured for her to stay silent until he finished.

”It seems the Goddess of Wisdom has this powerful ability that allows her to separate a part of her soul and still live without facing any backlash or any consequences that normally every soul should suffer.”

”Athena separated a part of her soul and created a clone.”

”And thatʼs me....!!” Laura completed his sentence. She looked completely shocked.

Laura suddenly felt a strong headache.

She grabbed her head and closed her eyes.

[This is The Lumina Centauri Empire.....] - Laura saw images of a huge bustling city from the sky. At the center of the city, there was a beautiful golden Palace. All major roads in this city are connected to the heart of the city, which is the Golden Palace.

In the image, she also noticed many figures in the distance. But for some reason, they appeared blurred in her vision. But there was this feeling in her heart that these people were really important to her.

The next second, the images changed. Before, she had seen broken images of this big and beautiful city, but now she saw images of this very familiar woman. This woman felt so familiar that she almost thought she was staring at her own twin or something similar.

[Youʼre me, and I am you. There is no difference between us.]

The woman had a mature face. She had long, beautiful black hair.

For some reason, most of her face appeared blurred in her vision. But her voice, which came with the fragmented images, felt very familiar.

••

”Lady Laura, are you alright?” Kate put her hand on Lauraʼs right shoulder and worryingly looked at her.

Julia got up from her chair and was about to approach Laura when she opened her eyes.

”I am fine!!” Laura wiped the sweat from her forehead using the back of her palm.

Her heart was still beating really fast.

Her breathing was ragged.

”What happened?” Julia gently asked from behind.

”I donʼt know.” She still sounded unsure, and her voice was somewhat shaky from this experience.

Just two lines from that woman with beautiful long black hair had stirred some hidden emotions in her heart.

”I saw a few images of a woman and a beautiful massive city, which I think was the Capital of some Empire.”

”I also heard some voice.”

”I think this was your suppressed or maybe locked memories. Adityaʼs words might have been like a trigger that made you recall a few bits of it.” Rin was no expert on this topic, so this was purely a hypothesis.

Laura also nodded her head. She also felt that this might be the case.

”What did the voice tell you?”

”The Lumina Centauri Empire...!!”

Hearing this, Rin, Lilith, Riya, and Aditya looked at each other. While others were confused, they were familiar with this name.

”The Goddess of Wisdom was the princess of that Empire...!!” The rise and fall of The Lumina Centauri Empire was so popular in the Main Continent that to this day, almost every casual enthusiast of history knows its name and its history.

”I know!! I heard about itʼs history.” Laura was someone who constantly looked to enrich her brain with new knowledge. Whether it was history or economics or cultivation journey, it did not matter.

Kate gently wiped the sweat from Lauraʼs forehead and neck while Laura herself looked at Aditya with an exhausted smile.

”To be honest, when I read about The Lumina Centauri Empire, I felt like I could really relate to the Prince who changed her Empire. For decades, I saw the Goddess as one of my role models.” This was because Laura was on a quest to do something similar in the Deep Sea Palace. She wanted to change this Empire and turn it into a living paradise for all races.

”Never did I think I would be a part of the woman I viewed as my role model.”

”Life can be full of surprises. And Fate is a very mysterious thing.” One big example of that would be Aditya himself.

”Now, moving on, from the diary, I learned that the organization has been after the Goddess of Wisdom for decades if not a century now. Unfortunately for them, the Goddess managed to hide herself in a pocket dimension that was only accessible by the members of her bloodline.”

”So moving on...!!”

”Her Empire was destroyed, which remains a mystery to this day. No one knows who is responsible for the sudden destruction of the Empire. But after reading this diary, I have a strong suspicion that itʼs the League of Black Tomb.” Laura read the history and knew this, so she just nodded her head.

”After that incident, the Goddess realized that a powerful organization was after her, so she disappeared. She hid herself so well that even they couldnʼt track her down, no matter how much they searched.”

”For decades, they kept looking but found nothing. Then, after years of research, they discovered something shocking.”

”Athena had an ability that allowed her to split her soul and create a clone. And thatʼs how they found Laura.” This time, Laura wasnʼt so shocked. She was able to calmly digest everything.

”By the time they located Athenaʼs clone, Lauraʼs body was already deteriorating. It turns out that being separated from her main soul for over a century was slowly destroying her. If she doesnʼt reunite with Athena soon, sheʼll disappear completely. And when that happens, Athena will lose a part of her soul forever.”

”Once the organization learned this, they made a plan to capture Laura. They handpicked seven people for the mission, and the one who wrote this diary was one of them.”

”Thatʼs where the diary ends. Thereʼs no record of what happened after that, but everything written here tells us enough about the League of Black Tombs and their goals.”

”We donʼt know what the organization is planning to do next. But I am sure, by now, they are aware that I protect you and youʼre staying at the Dragon Palace.”
