Dragon Monarch System

895  Chapter 895:- Punishing Lilith

Dining table (Dinner),

”How are you feeling now?” Alicia asked Laura. She was sitting next to the Goddess of Wisdom. ʼIf only Alicia and others knew.ʼ Aditya thought to himself while looking at them. ʼNow that I think about it, with Laura being a part of the Goddess of Wisdom, right now, there are Six of the Seven Goddesses sitting around the dining table.ʼ Realizing this fact, Aditya couldnʼt help but chuckle. He, without even realizing it, had brought 6 of the 7 Goddesses together, and 5 of them were his future wives. ʼBut tomorrow morning, they will know the truth.ʼ The reason he decided to wait till tomorrow is so that it wouldnʼt ruin everyoneʼs mood. Tonight, he wanted everyone to relax and enjoy themselves. ”I am doing much better than before.” She felt much better, with no headache or discomfort. She almost felt that she was completely recovered. But there was one thing that Juliaʼs medicine failed to eliminate. And that was her ability to cultivate. No matter how much she tried, she couldnʼt absorb any mana and use it to cultivate. ”Itʼs all thanks to Julia.” Laura looked at Julia and gave her a grateful nod. ”I still feel bad for not being able to provide a permanent solution.” Julia took pride in being the Goddess of Alchemy. And not being able to give Laura a permanent solution has left her bothered. Hearing this, Laura chuckled.

She really liked Julia. ʼDespite being the Goddess of Alchemy, she is very humble and polite.ʼ This was exactly what that made her very likable. Laura liked Julia the second most after Aditya. ʼOr Maybe I am being biased since she helped me.ʼ But then she shook her head. It wasnʼt that deep. ”Julia, if you ever grow tired of living here and want to work somewhere else, then please donʼt hesitate to come to our Deep Sea Palace.” ”I will give you the Position of the Royal Alchemical Sage.” This meant Julia would ascend to the position of Head of Royal Alchemy in the Deep Sea Palace, taking full command over all alchemical operations.

She will oversee the research, development, and creation of pills and potions while managing the royal alchemists and guiding advancements in alchemical practices to serve the empireʼs needs. Her authority will extend to every aspect of the Palaceʼs alchemical work.

Upon hearing this, Aditya almost choked on his food, caught completely off guard by the unexpected situation. Cough...!!! Cough.....!!!

”Your Majesty.....!!” Watson became concerned.

”I am fine.” ʼHey!!ʼ ʼI brought you here as my guest, and now youʼre trying to steal my woman right in front of me.ʼ Judging from her tone, Laura was very serious about the matter. Seeing Adityaʼs reaction, Julia and Laura looked at each other, and they smiled. ”Thank you for the kind offer. Maybe one day...but right now, I am busy with many things.” ʼMaybe one dayʼ was a polite way to indirectly refuse Lauraʼs offer. Laura nodded, understanding the meaning behind her words. But her offer was still available to Julia. ”Julia, your skills remind me of an Alchemist named Elias Thorne.” ”Who is Elias Thorne?” Not even Alicia or Sasha knew who this person was.

Aditya was confused as well. He wasnʼt an Alchemist. So, I never bothered to read anything related to Alchemy. Besides, after doing his work as the Emperor and spending enough quality time with his family, he barely gets any time to read. So whatever time is left is used to read important stuff. ”If I remember correctly, Elias Thorne was a person who revolutionized alchemy by allowing the mass production of life-saving pills.” ”I have met this Elias Thorne before he passed away.” Lilith suddenly said, surprising everyone. ”You did?” She nodded her head. When I was young, I was really bothered by the fact that I could not touch any male. I felt like I was punished by heaven. There were many instances when I nearly lost my mind.” Lilithʼs entire race lived to have sex. As the Succubus Empress, she couldnʼt even touch any male. This meant that since birth, she was destined to suffer.

”I went to see him, hoping that he would give me some kind of solution.” ”Although he couldnʼt help me, he gave me pills that would temporarily suppress my urges. He gave me so many pills that they lasted for about 7 centuries.” ”Before Julia, he was the most popular and sought-after alchemist within six continents.” Lilith looked at Julia and added.

Of course, he did not have the skills to be on par with the Goddess of Alchemy. ”Well, his work revolutionized the alchemy field.” ”Before him, only some Peak 4th-star and 5-star Alchemist could mass produce cultivation pills. Also, even when skilled alchemists such as 5-star ones tried to mass produce, there used to be many failures, meaning a ton of resources were wasted, which was considered normal. But this also meant that these cultivation pills were really expensive and werenʼt affordable to everyone.” ”But just at the age of 91, Elias managed to find a solution to this problem.” ”It took him 18 years to make the Assembly Line Refinement, which is arguably his greatest work.”

”What does it do?” Aditya asked. ”He developed a system allowing multiple furnaces to work simultaneously, drastically increasing pill production. This whole system was created using runes. The whole system allowed even lower star alchemists such as 3-star and 4-star alchemists to mass produce cultivation pills.” ”He was a Runemaster?” Asked Sasha. ”No! But at an early stage of his life, due to poverty, he worked as an assistant for a Runemaster and learned some things.” ”He did not stop there. He continued refining this system until it eliminated the wastage of cultivation resources by 85%. This meant there were almost no failures.” ”Later in his life, he further improved the whole system by adding two more systems to his original system. He added Auto-Refinement Glyphs and Essence Stabilization Method.”

”Mind explaining?” Rin asked. ”Basically, he created magical runes that aid in alchemy, allowing pills to refine themselves with less intervention. This reduced the strain that was put on alchemists during mass production.” At this point, everyone was invested in this legendary person.

”So, how did he die?” Aditya asked while eating. ”Surely, the death of someone like him was a huge loss to the whole alchemy field.” And given how reputable he was, it was highly unlikely that anybody would want to kill him, given how talented he was. ”Believe it or not, he committed suicide.” Lilith calmly said while eating. ”Why?” ”No one really knows!” Laura answered in Lilithʼs place. ”But some alchemist who worked with him in the past says that towards the end of his life, he became extremely detached. The only thing that he cared about was alchemy, and he was starting to lose interest in that as well.” ”How long did he live again?” Aditya asked. ”Around 11,780 years.” ”Maybe thatʼs why!!” ”Who knows?”

”He did not have any family. His children left to go to the Main Continent, where they unfortunately died during a clash between two cultivation sects.”

ʼThis shows the importance of having a family. Otherwise, whatʼs the point of living forever.ʼ Aditya thought to himself. This made him even more determined to protect his family. He was willing to keep and protect what he found at any cost. ”Being compared to someone this legendary and influential to the field of alchemy is a great honor.” Hearing this, Laura smiled. ”Youʼre too modest. Your legacy has long surpassed his.”

”I donʼt think I contributed as much as him.” Laura shook her head. ”You downplay your own achievements too much.” ”Thatʼs true!” Everyone agreed with Laura. •••

After Dinner, ”Lauraʼs presence made the whole atmosphere livelier,” Julia said while a maid gently combed her beautiful purple hair. ”Yeah! It was very interesting to chat with her.” Alicia admitted with a smile. ”Unlike a certain someone, she isnʼt a bully.” Hearing this, Lilith, who was lying on the bed, lazily opened her eyes and looked at Alicia. As their eyes met, Lilith grinned at her. Alicia was still holding a grudge for what the Succubus Empress did just before dinner. Lilith mysteriously appeared behind Alicia and affectionately wrapped her arms around her shoulders. ”Are you still mad about what happened before?” Lilith asked with a teasing grin. Aliciaʼs response was a cold, hard glare. ”Come on! As sisters, itʼs normal for us to tease each other. If I canʼt tease you, then who am I supposed to tease?” ”Lilith does have a point,” Julia added without looking back. This hid the smile on her face. ”I will forgive you under one condition,” Alicia said in a serious tone. ”Alright! I will do anything to earn my sisterʼs forgiveness.” But she had no intention of keeping her word. Her tone made it very obvious to others. ”Then, as punishment tonight, I want to tie you naked on a wooden chair.”

”The rule is you cannot move on your own. ”I will only free you once I believe youʼve faced sufficient punishment.” Hearing these words, Lilithʼs expression stiffened. The teasing smile on her face immediately disappeared. Now, she looked awkward and lost. Cough...!!!

”Preventing a Succubus from having sex, isnʼt that too harsh against your sister?” She tried to use emotional attacks in hopes of winning this battle. ”I know what you were doing in the evening.” Hearing this, Lilithʼs expression changed. She immediately backed away from Alicia with a look of fear. ”How did you...?” ”It was very out of character for you to stay in your bedroom in the evening. Usually, youʼre among the first few who come to the garden to hang out with everyone. But today, you were absent.”

”Only that, but Aditya was in his office the whole evening even though he said that he was nearly done with work. This means you seduced him.” Alicia wasnʼt 100% sure before discussing this topic, but seeing Lilithʼs expression, any remaining doubts disappeared from her mind. ”You...!!” Lilith nervously looked around the room.

Everyone was pissed at her. From Julia to her own daughter, everyone was on Aliciaʼs side. ”Everyone, please donʼt forget that we are sisters.” She said as she slowly backed away. Lilith began retreating, but everyone surrounded her. Seeing this, she started sweating. The doors and the windows were closed. Leaving no space for her to retreat. In the end, she looks at Julia. Since she was first and everyone really respected her, she wanted her help. ”Julia...!!” ”Lilith, I firmly believe that you deserve this. You have accumulated too many sins.” From teasing Amelia to everyone else. No one was spared from her sharp tongue. Even Rin almost became a victim of her sharp tongue. •••

Click.....!!

When Aditya came to his bedroom, he found Lilith tied to a chair. Her cultivation was suppressed by a special rope that was tied around her wrist. Her mouth and eyes were covered. She could neither move nor speak or see anything.

”What happened to her?” He was confused. ”Youʼre late. Where have you been?” They thought after dinner, he would go straight to his bedroom. ”I had to see Percy. He wanted me to increase the allocated budget to the blacksmith field. He also wants to recruit new students, which would improve the work speed of the blacksmith field.” But the girls looked completely uninterested. ”All of us are punishing Lilith. And youʼre not allowed to help her tonight.” The firm tone of Julia and the nods that everyone else gave in the room left Aditya with no choice but to agree. ----------------
