Chapter 866: Chapter 866:- A New Path for the Black Lotus

”So thatʼs the issue.....!!” Sasha nodded her head.

Aditya sat next to Sasha and began to think.

ʼBefore we had this conversation, I never really thought much about this Black Lotus Organization.ʼ

Four or five months ago, Sasha informed Aditya that she had ordered all of her organization members not to harm the nobles and royalties of the Istarin Empire. This protection also extended to all the Kings and their families who were allies of the Istarin Empire.

If the Istarin Empire was small, then this might not have been such a big issue. But now, the Istarin Empire and its allies practically ruled the Six Continents. Of course, a lot of people are going to have problems with that and would want to eliminate them.

Sigh...!!!

ʼI guess this is one of the downsides of being this strong and mighty.ʼ Aditya thought while rubbing his forehead.

Some of the conflicts in his Empire could have been avoided. He was never interested in expanding it this big. Aditya was very satisfied with what he had before his conflict with the Echo Nexus Empire and the Oracle Alliance.

For example, the conflict with the Oracle Alliance could have been avoided if the Emperorʼs son stayed in line or if the Echo Nexus Emperor had not escalated things. Similarly, the recent war with the Dune Sovereignty was unnecessary, but Sorayaʼs father was too greedy.

Or when all the small kingdoms and dynasties in the Eastern Region attacked the Istarin Empire while he was spending time with his future wife.

”Sasha, what do you want?” Aditya felt that it was better to ask what she wanted rather than make a decision.

She thought for a moment and replied. ”I donʼt like the fact that we donʼt have many clients, but this is something that cannot be changed. Without work, many of our talented Assassins will be sitting and doing nothing. That would be a waste of talent.”

”At the same time, I do not want to end the Black Lotus as this was something that my mom built with many centuries of hard work. Besides, I enjoy taking my job as an Assassination.” ʼNot to mention, if I hadnʼt taken that mission, I wouldnʼt have met you in the first place.ʼ Originally, Sasha had taken a mission to eliminate one of the candidates who went to become the New Ruler of the Deep Sea Palace. But Aditya stood in her path. If they hadnʼt crossed, they still would be strangers.

”Alright! I have a suggestion.”

Click!!!

”Sorry for being late!!” Lilith entered the room with a serious attitude.

Sasha had decided to ask Lilith to come as well since this was a huge deal.

Lilith basically created the Black Lotus Organization. The Black Lotus has gained all of its current reputation and recognition because Lilith did most of the hard work over the last few centuries.

When Sasha took over, she took the Black Lotus to a new level.

”Itʼs alright! You made it just in time.” Nodding her head, she sat opposite Aditya and Sasha. Aditya first explained everything briefly to Lilith and then asked her opinion on the matter. He wanted to know what she thought before he gave his suggestion. ”I agree with Sasha!”

”I donʼt want this organization to entirely disappear.” This was something that Lilith worked hard to build for many centuries. She did not want this organization to disappear like this. ”Then I have a suggestion.” Lilith and Sasha looked at each other before nodding their heads. ”Go on!”

”First of all, nearly all the out members, the members that arenʼt from your clan, have left the Organization. Some have gone on to create their own organization, while others have joined other organizations. Since Sasha made them sign Soul-Binding contracts, they cannot reveal anything about this Organization.” Sasha nodded her head while Lilith silently listened.

Despite her retirement from the organization, she still heard about every significant event that occurred here.

”I suggest dividing the Organization into two parts.”

”One part will continue to operate normally. And the second part will join the Shadow Guardian and will work under Nathan.”

”Let me explain why I suggested this.”

”Currently, the Shadow Guardian is stretched too thin as the Istarin Empire has grown too big. To be honest, the process of finding the perfect candidate and then training them to be an Assassin for the Shadow Guardian takes too long. It is impossible to learn everything within a year. At the very least, a few years is needed to master everything, but as you two know, the Istarin Empire is very young.”

”The lack of experience and skills among the new Assassins is really hindering the capability of the Shadow Guardian.”

”If some Assassins from your organization join, then not only would this improve the efficiency of the Shadow Guardian in all fields multiple times, but also, the young Assassins will have the opportunity to learn more from them.”

Despite giving their 100%, there is still corruption and criminals in the Istarin Empire. After all, the Empire has grown too big. The Shadow Guardian canʼt be present in every small town or village. Escaping after committing crimes is easy for some criminals in small towns and

villages.

Additionally, one must consider the constant threat that exists beyond the Empireʼs borders. ”Additionally, if possible, I would like you to occasionally train the old and young members of the Shadow Guardian or participate in Assassination missions.” Not only would this help Nathan and others to grow but it would also allow Sasha to not feel bored. Aditya knew how seriously she took her job. She loved her job as an Assassin. So, accepting his offer would allow her to continue taking regular missions.

”Honestly, I donʼt see anything wrong with this suggestion. In fact, given our current circumstances, this might be the best decision moving forward.” Lilith replied after a

moment of silence.

”What do you think?” She asked Sasha. Sasha was the leader of the Organization.

”I donʼt see any problem with Adityaʼs suggestion.”

”Aditya, I want to know the benefits my clan members will receive from working under you,”

Lilith asked with a sly smile.

Aditya sensed that this Succubus had questionable motives behind the question.

”For starters, I will give them a monthly salary according to their experience. Rest assured,

their salaries will be generous. The Salary can be paid in the form of gold coins or cultivation

resources, depending on their choice.”

”For Sasha, for every mission she takes, I will pay her tens of millions.”

”So, Basically, you are hiring Sasha?”

”Sort of!!”

”I donʼt need money!” Sasha had billions of Royal Gold coins from all the Missions she had completed over the years. Money is the last thing that she lacks.

”Then what do you need?”

Sasha thought for a second. An idea came to her mind.

She gently held his arm and looked at him. ”Every time I successfully complete a mission, you

owe me a date.”

Hearing this, Lilith lost her composure.

”Hey! Thatʼs not fair!” She immediately protested.

To Sasha, this was more important than money. Lilith also understood the value of this

request. ʼDammit! I shouldnʼt have retired this soon.ʼ

ʼMaybe I still have a chance.ʼ

”Why itʼs not fair?” She asked with a small smile. Aditya almost felt as if this wasnʼt Sasha,

but it was Lilith. Their faces perfectly overlapped.

Sasha had become bolder over the last few days after losing her virginity.

”Because.....” Lilith could not say anything in response.

”Very well!”

”Aditya...!!” Lilith was shocked that Aditya easily accepted her request.

”Aditya, I also want to take Assassination Missions.” Lilith suddenly said.

”Unfortunately, Sasha has already filled the vacant position. Unless Sasha wants you to

replace her........!”

”Not Happening!!” Sasha did not let Aditya finish his sentence. She wasnʼt willing to miss this golden opportunity, and she wasnʼt handing it over to her mother.

”Sasha, as your mother, you will also let me join those dates, wonʼt you?” she asked with a

pitiful look.

Sasha shook her head with a smile.

”Nope!”

”I already regret sharing my first time with you. I am not sharing my future dates with you.”

”But...!” Lilith pretended to cry. Her eyes were filled with tears. But Sasha knew her mom too

well.

”By the way, when can I start?” Sasha could not wait any longer.

”Not so first. I will take you to see Nathan. Once everything is settled, then you can begin.”

Sasha nodded her head.

”By the way, I heard from Alena that you killed some of the Elderly Assasins?” Lilith wanted

to know things from her daughterʼs side.

She acted like she wasnʼt just pleading with Sasha to let her join their dates just moments ago.

”Yeah! They pressured me for leadership.”

”Also, for months, they have been refusing to sign Soul-Binding Contracts. At the meeting, some of them even threatened to leave the Organization and reveal its secrets to others if I did

not give up the leadership position.”

Hmph!!!

Hearing this, Lilith angrily snorted.

”Good job!”

”Those idiots deserved this.”

Really Thank you very much to all those who send support with valuable golden tickets. I hope

we can keep it up!!!
