Dragon Monarch System

883  Chapter 883:- Fear from the Dragon Monarch!

”Our Mission is over. Letʼs leave!!” Avelina picked Laura on her right shoulder and began walking away with the rest of the members. ”After we return, I want to take a break,” Atlas said to the rest of the members. ”Do whatever Fuck you want. There is no need to tell us.” Evan wasnʼt interested in chit-chatting. Now that the mission was over, he wanted silence around him. He hated speaking or when someone spoke. He loved the quiet atmosphere more than anything. ”Dude, if you feel annoyed, just cover your ears. We are not obligated to shut our mouths just because we hate the sound of people talking.” Atlas wasnʼt afraid of Evan. In fact, Atlas and Evan were the leaders of this team. While Atlas was on a mission to test the waters in the Celestial Terrain, Evan was to prepare everything and wait until Atlas joined them. Hearing what Atlas said, Evans stopped walking and glared at him. His pupils transformed; his round pupilʼs glowing green vertical slits. ”Do you think I am afraid of your stupid lizard eyes?” ”If you want a beating, then say so.” Others secretly agreed with Atlas. Everyone was tired of Evanʼs nonsense. They have never met anyone like Evans.

Who hates silence?

ʼI heard that this guy loves silence so much that he has created his own artificial void. Before, I did not believe in these silly rumors, but now I have a change of mind.ʼ Aine thought in her mind. Atlas and Evan were walking in front. Aine and the two other mysterious members were walking next to her. Avelina was walking at the back. ʼDammit! I donʼt want to carry this woman.ʼ But none of the members stepped forward to carry Laura. Swoosh!!!

Suddenly, something moved incredibly fast.

Faster than anyone could react. Ghaa.....!!!

Hearing the sound, everyone turned around and looked back. Everyone became alert even before turning around as they felt his Aura. ʼIs that.....!!!ʼ Kate couldnʼt see his back properly. Everything was becoming blurry. Turning around, they saw dragon claws sticking out of Avelinaʼs throat. Each finger was coated in her blood. A total of five fingers stuck out of the throat. Behind her, there was a person. Due to the lightning, they couldnʼt see his face, but they could see those terrifyingly glowing Crimson Vertical Slits. Avalina was staring at others with a look of shock and despair. But then she felt her throat was forcefully being stretched. With her trembling hands, she tried to stop that. But it wasnʼt enough. ”This time, there will be no second time.” Hearing this, Aine began trembling. Her face turned pale. It was like she had seen her death in those Crimson glowing eyes. Everyone watched as Aditya effortlessly tore her neck from her body. ʼThere is no mistaking that voice.ʼ ʼItʼs time...!!ʼ ʼHe is here!!ʼ ʼHE IS HERE!!!!ʼ Despite being so near death, her heart was beating in joy and excitement, knowing that the Dragon Monarch was here. ”Aditya....!!!” Atlas couldnʼt believe it. ʼJust what kind of shitty Lucky do I have to run into the same man twice within an hour.ʼ Aine wanted to cry. In fact, she was very close to crying, but instead of tears, her body was soaked in sweat because of how nervous and scared she was. She had never felt this scared before. When she was assigned to this team to complete two missions, the only thing she hoped and prayed for was not to cross paths with Aditya. Facing the likes of the 9-Headed Hydra, the Vampire King, or even Spear Hero Robert would have been far less terrifying. Against those monsters, there was still a chance—however slim—to escape with their lives.

But escaping from the Dragon Monarch? That was another story entirely. His claws were inescapable, and the odds of survival were so abysmally low that calling it impossible felt more accurate.

Facing him wasnʼt just a gamble; it was a death sentence.

If she had a teleportation crystal, then she would have used it. Unfortunately, teleportation crystals were so rare that it was impossible even for the League of Black Tomb to provide teleportation crystals to every member. Only during very crucial and important missions are these crystals given. They were given two crystals. One was already used, and the second was with Evan. Aditya calmly lifted Laura under their eyes. All the members were so afraid that none of them tried to attack him when he bent down to pick Laura. Though he picked her up, his eyes never stopped staring at them. His stare alone made them feel so nervous and scared that they were thinking of how to escape. Only Atlas and Evan were thinking of how to deal with this situation.

Both of them looked at each other and then nodded their heads. Meanwhile, Aditya burned the paper Talisman containing the rune spell that kept Laura paralyzed. He did it without harming Laura. Under the water, it was nearly impossible to burn something, but it was Aditya. Once the talisman was burned, Laura was able to move her body again. ”Aditya...!!” Laura was immensely grateful to Aditya. Words cannot describe her gratitude. ”Save it for later!!” He handed her a blue, glowing potion. ”Save Kate.” Despite living with them for a brief time, he had fond memories of this maid who seemed to dislike the surface world and its people. ”I will take care of them.” Laura nodded and rushed at Kate. ”Aditya, donʼt think that you can do whatever you want.” Atlas and two other members stepped forward. As for Aine, although she looked very hesitant and afraid, she also summoned her grimoire.

”And what are you going to do about it?” He asked in a cold tone. ”You know, I regretted allowing you two to escape under my watch.” A core League of Black Tomb member managed to escape from his hand around 6 to 7 months back.

Now, something like that happened again. Part of him was very bothered that he had allowed the same thing to happen twice. But he also understood that saving Rin was more important. And they had teleportation crystals. Itʼs not like he could have stopped them from that distance, even if he wanted to. ”But as I said before, there wonʼt be any second chances.” He said while pointing his sword towards them.

”Kill him!!!” Evan screamed. ”Everyone attack him together. I donʼt care how strong he is I refuse to believe that our joint attacks wonʼt be effective against him.” Six members of the League of Black Tomb attacked him. The woman named Aine and the half-dragon named Evan stayed back while four others charged at the Dragon Monarch. As for Laura, she quickly fed the blue glowing potion to Kate. Kate, who was on the verge of death, suddenly felt something very warm entering her body. ʼJust a second ago, I was feeling cold and seeing flashes of my entire life, but now I feel warm and comfortable.ʼ Within a mere few seconds, Kate opened her eyes and sat up like she wasnʼt poisoned. ”How do you feel?” She was very emotional. Just now, she almost lost her beloved Maid. ”I feel fantastic.” Bang...!!!

Aditya disappeared before attacks from all six could hit him. He teleported behind the woman named Aine. Evan, who was next to Aine, changed the direction of his attack and launched a powerful spell at Aine. He did not care if the attack harmed Aine. As long as Aditya gets injured or dies, which would be even better, it would be worth it. Her sacrifice will be worth it. But Aditya disappeared along with Aine. He appeared 10 meters away with his right claw, leaving a large hole in her chest. Aine looked down. Within one hour, she had been severely injured by the same man twice. Everything was the same. It was the same exact wound, the same hand, the same claw, and the same person. The only difference was that this time, no one was coming to save her. Meanwhile, Atlas runs to Evan. Aditya recognized the teleportation crystal that Evan took out. He also noticed that others were coming close to Evan. ”No, not this time!!” He teleported in front of Evan and swung his sword. Evan infused his Mana into the crystal and waited for the crystal to activate, but before that could happen, he saw his arm falling down and the teleportation crystal leaving his grasp. ”No...!!” He tried to grab the teleportation crystal only to realize that he could not feel his right arm. His right arm was also falling down. Others stopped and looked at the scene with a look of shock and despair. ”I am going to kill you bastard!!” In anger, Evan tried to stab Aditya with his dagger. Aditya calmly snatched it from his grasp and stabbed Evan in the head. ”Is this how you greet Your Dragon Monarch?” These were the last words he heard before he forever closed his eyes. 21:38

”You three, donʼt even think of leaving.”

Atlas and one other attacked Aditya from both sides before he could hold the teleportation crystal. But he calmly dodged their attacks but couldnʼt get the crystal. As a result, their attacks hit Evanʼs corpse. One member used this chance and slowly started to sneak away. She began running. While running, her shadow began to extend. Aditya saw this and recognized what she wanted to do. She was trying to enter her shadow to escape. Aditya was about to teleport to the crystal and grab it, but then he saw this Succubus woman trying to escape. Seeing this, Aditya used teleportation to appear before her. ”Please!!!” The woman pitifully looked at him. It was a beautiful Succubus. ”Tell me, why was your organization trying to kidnap Laura?”

”If you can answer that, I will allow you to live.” The woman wanted to respond but froze when she heard his question. The woman wanted to respond, but she knew that she was going to die if she said anything. She had signed a contract, after all.

Seeing this, Aditya smirked. ”Canʼt say, can you? Then die!!!” His claws pierced her throat. Before her eyes closed, she raised her left hand. Aditya saw her staring at her storage ring before passing away. Using this chance, Atlas grabbed the teleportation crystal and used it. Aditya sensed it and teleported in front of Atlas. The other remaining member was already holding Atlasʼs left arm. ”Not this time.” With one hand, he grabbed the remaining member, and with the other hand, he severed the arm that was holding the teleportation crystal. But it was already too late. The crystal was starting to turn into dust, a sign that it had fulfilled its purpose. A powerful force affected the fabric of space around them. Not even Aditya was strong enough to prevent or close the tear in space. Atlas had managed to escape. ʼIt doesnʼt matter. Next time, I am going to kill him.ʼ Today, Aditya has gained a lot. He has managed to weaken his enemy side, which is better than nothing. ----------------
