Dragon Monarch System

Chapter 887: Chapter 887:- The Waiting Game

Anschester Village ”How many years has it been since I started staying in this disgusting place?” A short woman with long, beautiful hair spoke in a tone of disgust and anger as she looked out of the window

It has been over a decade since she was sent to this stupid village. ”I hate this place.” She did not hide her hatred for this village. ”There is nothing interesting to do here.” She lazily glanced at the mini-mountain of gold coins that was lying on the wooden table beside her bed. ”And because of orders, I cannot even temporarily leave this village to have fun outside.” She angrily punched the pillow before her. ”I feel like I have become a prisoner in this place.” With each passing week and month, her frustration and anger were only growing. ”As soon as my mission in this place is over, I am going to burn every single villager to death and turn this entire village into their graveyard.” She coldly looked at the people walking on the street.

She hated everything about this village. ʼI am Beginner 6th-order cultivator for god-sake. Yet, I have to live among mortals and pretend that I am a maid.ʼ As an immortal, she looked down on all mortals. To her, mortals only had one value and that was to be slaves of the immortals.

She has been staying here for so long that sometimes she wondered if she was really abandoned by her organization.

Fortunately, that wasnʼt the case, as one of the core members of the organization stayed in touch with her and occasionally asked her if she had any updates on the Goddess of Wisdom. ”Fortunately, there I can do whatever I want here.” Saying that she couldnʼt help but smile. After all, her target wasnʼt here. It has been more than a decade since anyone saw the Goddess of Wisdom.

There was no need for her to hide.

Within a few years, using her powers and authority, she became the shadow Villager Leader of this small village.

After all, in front of a powerful immortal like her, which mortal wouldnʼt bow down?

Just because she controlled everything from the shadow did not mean that she was going to make everyone in the village her slave. Her seniors warned her to restrain herself and not expose their organization to any foreign travelers who occasionally came to this village to stay a night or two.

Knock!!! Knock!!!

Hashi Rii became annoyed hearing the knock on her door. It was very early in the morning. Right now, she wasnʼt in the mood to go outside and pretend to be a maid.

She really hated this role. Nowadays, she mostly gives the excuse of feeling unwell to stay inside her house. But from time to time, she went out and mingled with the villagers to gain information and know what was going on around the village.

Most of the time, she doesnʼt need to go out to gather information. The visitors who come to her house tell her everything that she needs to know. ”Who is it?” Rii sounded annoyed.

The man who knocked was startled.

She chuckled, hearing his nervous breaths. ”Itʼs Rancher!!” He sounded very nervous, almost like he was afraid. ”What do you want?” Hashi asked in a lazy tone. She felt too lazy to get out of her bed and open the door for him. ”My Lady, you told me it was my turn to visit you last week. You specifically instructed me to come early in the morning.”

Hearing this, Rii paused for a second. ʼRight....!! I did ask him to come.ʼ This was such a trivial matter that she forgot.

A second later, a smile appeared on her face. ”Alright! You can come in.”

Click.....!!

A second later, a nervous young man in his 20s walked inside the room. ”Lock the door from inside,” Rii said with a smile. She wasnʼt wearing anything. Her body was completely naked.

The young man had tan skin, which was likely from working in the fields all day long. He was 5 feet 8 inches tall and had a slightly muscular frame due to all the training he did to hunt wild rabbits and other such animals.

He had short, spiky hair with bangs covering his forehead.

This was the son of the current village leader.

Meanwhile, Rancher felt very nervous. At the same time, he felt slightly aroused when looking at Hashi Rii.

She stood just under 5 feet tall and had two huge mountains. Her thick thighs complemented her narrow waist, and she had a lovely, rounded bubble butt.

She was also blessed with a beautiful face. When looking at her face and erotic body, some might wonder if this woman was a Succubus. But in reality, she was a human with a tiny percentage of elven blood. Her grandfather was a half-elf.

She was undoubtedly the most beautiful woman in the entire village. When she first arrived in this village, nearly every man, even the married ones, proposed to her. Even Rancherʼs father was no exception to this. ”Come here...!!”

To make her life more interesting, she had to find a solution. And that solution naturally came in the form of using a human dildo. Fortunately, a few young men in the village had huge dildos. One of them was Rancher. ʼThis is how I became the shadow Leader.ʼ ʼUnfortunately, every guy in the village has really low stamina.ʼ This was normal, given that everyone was a mortal. And against an immortal like her, there was no way that they could match her stamina. ʼIf I am not careful, this one also might die and might ruin my mood altogether.ʼ A few died because she had overestimated their stamina. ....

A few hours later,

The healthy-looking Rancher now looked like a different man. He looked like someone had just sucked his soul.

Even when he walked, his legs heavily shook. The poor man had to use a wooden stick as he silently left Hashi Riiʼs house. ”1 out of 10 performance!! What a disappointment!!” Only an immortal could satisfy another immortal. ”Maybe I should really start heading to the nearby towns to satisfy my urges.”

Rii was very dissatisfied. ”I wonder when that stupid woman will come to this village.” ”I am sick and tired of waiting for her.” Hashi Rii lay on the bed and looked at the ceiling. ”I have been stuck in Beginner 6th-order for over a decade now. If I finish this mission, then I will be able to ask for rare cultivation resources, which would help me finally make a breakthrough.” Otherwise, from the looks of it, she was forever going to be stuck in this order. Just the thought of this happening really pissed her off.

The truth was, she had reached her limit. Her talent in cultivation was never strong. At most, her talent could be considered average. After thousands of years of slowly cultivating, she had hit her cultivation limit. Now, without any rare cultivation resources, she cannot cultivate further.

This is one of the reasons why there were so few 7th-order cultivators.

Once a cultivator hits their limit, surpassing it becomes nearly impossible. Nearly 99.999% just cannot afford the huge cultivation resources needed to make a breakthrough.

If she hadnʼt reached her natural limit, she would have spent all of her time cultivating.

Hashi felt slightly sad and disappointed in herself. If her talent had been slightly better, she might have easily reached the Peak sixth order. Even if she had, it would have been enough for her. After all, how many could reach the Peak sixth-order among hundreds of millions, if not billions, of cultivators? ”Whatever!!” There was no use in getting sad over something that she had no control over. This was what she was born with, and it cannot be changed. ”I should take a shower!!” Just when she felt the ordinary silver earrings on the left ear vibrate. She could feel the Mana of another person.

It was the Mana of her superior.

When she used her Mana to respond, the vibration stopped, and she could hear her Superiorʼs voice.

For the first time in months, she talked to her superior. ”Sir?” Even Hashi Rii felt nervous in front of her superiors. Her voice was loud and clear.

There was no sign of her being lazy. Even her posture was straight. ”Hashi, how is everything going on your side?” ”Same as well. There is no change.”

The man became silent for a few seconds before speaking again. ”Hashi, by now, the Goddess should have recovered her powers. So expect her to come to see you today or in a few days.”

Hearing this, Hashi became serious. ”Also, we have noticed that the connection between the Goddess and her clone has significantly weakened. Although Laura tried her best to hide it, it was obvious that her health was deteriorating.” ”The Goddess also must have sensed this change. To merge with her clone again, she will definitely come out and the first person that she will seek is you.” ”Unfortunately, the team that I sent to capture that woman was wiped out. And it was done by the Dragon Monarch.” Her superior sounded very frustrated about the entire situation.

Hearing this, Hashi Rii couldnʼt help but wonder. ʼThe Dragon Monarch? Again.....!!ʼ Even though she has been away from the organization for over a decade, she has heard about the Dragon Monarch over and over again, especially in the last 12 months.

She heard rumors that time and time again, this person had messed with the organizationʼs plan. Now, he was the whole organizationʼs number-one hated enemy. There even have been numerous attempts to make sure that he was dead. Unfortunately, every attempt not only failed but also made that man stronger than before. ”Anyways, be on your guard. I am pretty sure that within the next few days, the Goddess will appear in front of your residence at any given time. I will send a backup group just in case anything goes wrong.” ”But sir, backup wonʼt be necessary.” If backup appeared and actually helped them, she felt that she was going to lose credit. ”This is the Goddess of Wisdom that we are talking about. If she is even slightly suspicious, itʼs over for us.” ”The organization does not want any failures at this point. We already had too many failures because of that Dragon Monarch. Any more failure wonʼt be tolerated.” Hearing this, Hashi shivered in fear. ”I apologize for overstepping my boundaries.” ”Good! Keep me updated about the situation every few hours.” ”Understood, Sir!!” And with that, their communication ended.

Sigh.....!!! ʼLife is tough when youʼre not a talented cultivator.ʼ The very reason why she joined this organization is because she needed cultivation resources. ”Anyways, I should clean myself.” Hashi had to be ready. For now, she decided to stop having sex with anyone until the Goddess came to find her. ʼOnce my mission ends, I can spend days in a red district.ʼ

Just as she was about to head to take a cold shower, someone knocked on her door.

Knock!! Knock!!! Hashiʼs expression changed as she felt a new aura outside the door. ʼDid she finally come?ʼ Without wasting a second, Hashi quickly wore the clothes that were in front of her. Within twenty seconds, she cleaned everything and then opened the door.

Click!!!

Athena and Hashi Rii both looked at each other.

The moment Athena looked at her maid, she felt that something was wrong. She felt that her maid had changed.

It wasnʼt her appearance that changed; rather, it was something else. ʼItʼs like I am standing in front of a different person who has the same face as my maid.ʼ

Despite becoming suspicious, Athena did not show it. ”My Lady....!!” Hashi Rii acted dramatically and covered her mouth with a look of shock and relief. She became emotional upon seeing her Master. ”I missed you!!” Hashi hugged Athena and began to cry.

Really Thank you very much to all those who send support with valuable golden tickets and gifts. I hope we can keep it up!!!
