Medical and Martial God

Chapter 487: Chapter 487: All forces heed my command, seize Ye Liangchen

”Alright!” Ye Xiu agreed readily.

”No...” Upon hearing this, Huang Deping screamed in alarm. He knelt and crawled to Ye Xiu’s feet, kowtowing repeatedly. ”Mr. Ye, Master Ye, I was wrong! Please give me another chance. I’ll never dare to harm Liu Ying and Xiaoxiao again. I beg you, please don’t kill me...”

”Agree to one condition,” Ye Xiu said coldly.

”I agree, I agree! Never mind one, I’d agree to a hundred...” Huang Deping said frantically.

”Transfer all the money in your account to Liu Ying. Sign over all your assets to her name,” Ye Xiu stated.

”I agree, I agree,” Huang Deping replied without a second thought. Compared to his life, money and assets were just worldly possessions.

He Li panicked. If Huang Deping gave all his money and assets to Liu Ying, what would happen to her? She had, after all, only lured him away from Liu Ying for his money. However, facing Ye Xiu, she didn’t dare utter a single word of protest.

”Go borrow a pen and paper from a nurse. Write out the asset transfer to Liu Ying’s name by hand and seal it with a bloody thumbprint. Then, right here, transfer all the money from your account to her,” Ye Xiu commanded.

”Yes, yes, yes!” Huang Deping scrambled to his feet and rushed off to find a nurse.

Seeing this, Liu Ying stood up, tears streaming down her face. ”Mr. Ye...”

”There’s no need for thanks,” Ye Xiu cut her off. ”You two should go outside for now. I’m going to treat Xiaoxiao.”

”Oh, okay, okay, we’ll go.” The moment she heard Ye Xiu was going to treat Huang Xiao, Liu Ying quickly pulled her mother, Li Xiumei, out of the room. He Li also left without a word.

Soon, only Ye Xiu and Huang Xiao were left in the ward.

Huang Xiao looked at Ye Xiu happily and said, ”Daddy...”

Ye Xiu froze. ”???”

Damn, a kid this young already knows how to suck up?

Half an hour later, after Ye Xiu had cured Huang Xiao, Huang Deping had already transferred all the money to Liu Ying and had handwritten the asset transfer agreement, sealed with his bloody thumbprint. Ye Xiu then called Liu Ying back into the room and healed her injuries before finally departing.

”Mr. Ye! I’ve, uh, followed your instructions and given all the money and assets to Liu Ying. So, um, can I leave now?” Huang Deping asked timidly when he saw Ye Xiu emerge from the ward.

”Scram!” Ye Xiu barked.

”Yes, yes, yes!” As if granted a great amnesty, Huang Deping immediately took He Li and fled.

Ye Xiu also left the hospital without saying goodbye to Liu Ying, mainly because he was afraid Huang Xiao would call him ”daddy” again.

Only after they were back in their car did Huang Deping and He Li feel as though they had just crawled back from Ghost Gate.

”It feels so good to be alive!” Huang Deping heaved a long sigh.

”What in the world just happened?” He Li demanded angrily.

”He’s Ye Liangchen,” Huang Deping explained. ”He’s Ling Yun’s godfather, and also the godfather of Yin Tianxi, the number one master on the global War God Ranking.”

HISSS!

He Li gasped. No wonder Huang Deping had been so terrified. Ye Liangchen’s backing was immense. But she didn’t care about that right now. She fumed, ”You gave all your money and assets to Liu Ying! What are we supposed to eat and drink? I didn’t marry you to suffer poverty!”

A cold smile touched the corners of Huang Deping’s lips. ”Tomorrow, I’ll take some men to Liu Ying’s house to get the asset transfer agreement back and force her to return my money. Then we’ll liquidate the assets and flee the country. We can come back after the heat dies down.”

He Li’s eyes lit up. ”I knew you wouldn’t just give all your assets to that bitch Liu Ying! She deserves to die! When you go to her house tomorrow, make sure you teach her a proper lesson.”

”Don’t worry,” Huang Deping’s eyes glittered with a cold light, clearly intending to kill Liu Ying. ”I won’t give her a chance to call Ye Liangchen for help.”

KNOCK! KNOCK! KNOCK!

At that moment, someone tapped on the car window.

”Who the hell are you?” Huang Deping snapped as he rolled down the window.

”The one who’s sending you on your way!”

Mo Luo’s hand shot into the car and gripped Huang Deping’s neck. With a sharp snap, Huang Deping’s wicked life came to an end.

”Ahhh...!” He Li shrieked in terror from the passenger seat, having just witnessed Huang Deping’s murder.

”Don’t be a mistress in your next life.”

With a flick of his finger, Mo Luo silenced the scream. He Li’s head tilted to the side, her eyes wide open. She was gone.

「Long Family Manor!」

The members of the thirteen external families were still gathered around Long Yifei’s house, waiting for Xing Ming to return with the surveillance footage.

”What’s everyone gathered here for?” Tang Bo asked as he walked over, having just returned to see the assembly.

”Well, here’s what happened...” A Tang Family member explained the situation.

Tang Bo’s expression grew grim. He pulled Gu Meng aside and asked in a low voice, ”Did Big Brother really kill Wei Renwei and Wei Taining, and cripple Wei Chuyang?”

”Yes,” Gu Meng nodded. She didn’t hide anything from Tang Bo, one of Ye Xiu’s loyal followers.

”This is trouble!” Tang Bo frowned. ”Big Brother has committed a capital offense. Even if the Clan Leader admires him, he’ll have no choice but to execute him to uphold the Long Family Clan’s rules.”

”That’s why we have to find a way to stop Xing Ming from bringing back that footage, or we need to warn Ye Liangchen not to come back,” Gu Meng said anxiously.

”Xing Ming left with two Xing Family experts who are above the War God level. We can’t stop him,” Tang Bo said gravely. ”Besides, anyone who leaves the Long Family Manor right now will be considered Big Brother’s accomplice. How could we possibly warn him?”

”Let’s just hope Ye Liangchen understands the consequences of killing Wei Renwei and Wei Taining and stays away,” Gu Meng prayed.

”Big Brother couldn’t possibly know the Long Family Clan’s rules,” Tang Bo said, his anxiety mounting.

”If Long Yifei orders the thirteen external families to surround and kill Ye Liangchen, should we act?” Gu Meng asked.

The question tormented Tang Bo. ”Big Brother treats me like a true brother. How could I raise a hand against him?”

”But the Long Family Clan rules state that in the face of an external enemy, the Long Family and the thirteen external families must stand united,” Gu Meng reminded him. ”If we don’t act, we’ll be violating the rules. Don’t forget, our clansmen are in the Long Family’s hands, and we have no idea where they’ve been hidden.”

The members of the thirteen external families present at the manor were only a fraction of their total number. Most of their people had been scattered across different locations along Hexia Road by order of the Long Leader. As a result, the members here had no idea where their own kin were.

This was a deliberate tactic by the Long Leader. By scattering the families and keeping them ignorant of each other’s locations, he held them all in check, forcing them to obey the Long Family.

”If Long Yifei orders us to attack Big Brother, we’ll just go through the motions. We won’t attack him with our full strength,” Tang Bo said after a moment of thought.

Gu Meng’s eyes lit up. ”Good idea. I’ll go discuss it with Nangong Yue and the others right away. They can inform their families, and we can all hold back, creating a chance for Ye Liangchen to escape.”

”Right,” Tang Bo nodded and hurried off to inform the members of the Tang Family.

Soon, the Tang, Gu, Nangong, Bai, and Wen Families present had reached a secret agreement to just go through the motions.

”What’s everyone gathered here for?”

Just then, Ye Xiu returned.

Tang Bo, Gu Meng, Nangong Yue, Bai Xi, and Wen Rubing frantically tried to signal him with their eyes, but Ye Xiu seemed not to notice, approaching with the same smile on his face.

The other members of the thirteen external families, excluding those from the Xing and Wei Families, all wore grim expressions. They didn’t want Ye Liangchen to die.

”Ye Liangchen, you dare to return!”

Lying on the ground, Long Yifei was ecstatic. He immediately commanded, ”Thirteen external families, hear my order! Seize Ye Liangchen for me!”
