Medical and Martial God

Chapter 472: Chapter 472: Kneel Down, Beg Me

”Ye Liangchen, don’t forget who you are. The Dragon Lord’s order was to assist Young Master Fei, which means he is your leader. You must do whatever he tells you to do,” Wei Maoyuan, his face bruised and swollen, said coldly as he berated Ye Xiu.

”Young Master Fei holds the power of life and death over everyone in the Long Family Manor. If you dare to defy his orders, he can have you executed,” Wei Guangyu threatened.

Ye Xiu quietly listened to them finish before speaking. ”It seems you’ve misunderstood. I have a partnership with the Long Family. I’m not a member, and they have no right to order me around.”

”Treason! Ye Liangchen, you’re committing treason,” Wei Tingxuan gasped, turning to Long Yifei. ”Young Master Fei, you heard him. This man is naturally rebellious; he holds no respect for you at all.”

”Ye Liangchen,” Long Yifei glared at Ye Xiu, gritting his teeth. ”I’ll ask you one last time, will you heal us or not?”

Ye Xiu shrugged. ”And I’ll say it one last time. I don’t have time.”

”You’re courting death!” Long Yifei exploded with rage.

Wei Tingxuan, Wei Maoyuan, and Wei Guangyu immediately moved to surround Ye Xiu, preparing to attack. Although Mo Luo had severely injured them, all four of them possessed strength beyond that of a War God. Ye Liangchen was merely a War God, so the four of them working together could still decide his fate.

”I’d like to see who dares to touch Brother Ye,” Nangong Yue said with a playful smile, her tone full of spice.

”Wei Tingxuan, Wei Maoyuan, Wei Guangyu, if the three of you dare to lay a hand on Brother Ye, I wouldn’t mind making your injuries even worse,” Gu Meng threatened, setting down her shopping bags and cracking her knuckles.

Bai Xi said nothing, but she silently put down her bags and produced a Dagger from seemingly nowhere. Clearly, she was also on Ye Xiu’s side.

Ye Xiu narrowed his eyes. It seemed the relationship between Nangong Yue’s trio and Long Yifei wasn’t very good. Because of Long Yifei’s status, they didn’t dare to attack or threaten him directly, but they clearly didn’t care at all about Wei Tingxuan, Wei Maoyuan, and Wei Guangyu.

”You... you all...” Long Yifei and his men were dumbfounded, never expecting the three women to stand up for Ye Xiu. They knew that these three women also possessed strength beyond that of a War God. Even if the men were uninjured, defeating the trio would have been difficult, let alone in their current grievously wounded state. If a fight broke out, the three women could beat them senseless.

”Insolence!” Long Yifei snapped. ”Gu Meng, Nangong Yue, Bai Xi, are you trying to rebel?”

”You misunderstand, Young Master Fei. We wouldn’t dare rebel. We just want to rough up the Wei trio a bit,” Gu Meng replied with a smile.

”You...” Long Yifei was at a loss for words.

The Wei, Gu, Nangong, and Bai Families belonged to four different factions within the Long Family, supporting four of the six great geniuses. The six geniuses themselves were vying for the position of Young Master of the Long Family and were as incompatible as fire and water. This rivalry, in turn, caused the families affiliated with them to be at constant odds. If a fight really broke out, Gu Meng and the others might take the opportunity to kill or cripple the three Wei men.

”Ye Liangchen, what will it take for you to heal us?” Long Yifei finally compromised, asking through gritted teeth.

Ye Xiu pointed to the ground at his feet. ”Kneel and beg me.”

”In your dreams!” Long Yifei roared. ”Don’t think you’re the only one with Medical Skills! Tang Bo has them too. We can just ask him to heal us.”

Nangong Yue scoffed. ”The Tang Family supports Young Master An. Even if Tang Bo agrees to heal you out of respect for your status, do you really think he’ll give it his all?”

Young Master An was Long Yian, the Dragon Lord’s great-grandson and one of the six geniuses of the Long Family’s Main Lineage.

”You...” Long Yifei was nearly blinded by rage, but he had to admit Nangong Yue was right. The six Long Family geniuses were like fire and water. As a follower of Long Yian, Tang Bo would never put his full effort into healing them. He might even sabotage the treatment, poisoning or killing them in the process. This was why he and the three Wei members had waited for Ye Liangchen all afternoon at the shopping center instead of returning to the Long Family Manor to find Tang Bo.

”Name another condition. As long as you heal us, I’ll agree to anything except kneeling,” Long Yifei said, glaring at Ye Xiu.

”What gives you the right to negotiate with me?” Ye Xiu asked coldly.

Long Yifei’s lungs felt ready to explode from rage at being so aggressively bullied, yet he had to admit he had no grounds to negotiate. From the moment they met, he had been nothing but hostile toward Ye Xiu. For that reason alone, the Dragon Lord wouldn’t blame Ye Xiu for refusing to heal him, even if he found out.

”Fine. You win,” Long Yifei snarled, forcing himself to his knees in front of Ye Xiu. He squeezed the words through his teeth, ”Ye Liangchen, I beg you to heal us.”

Gu Meng, Nangong Yue, and Bai Xi stared in shock at the kneeling Long Yifei. They had grown up with him and knew that he bowed to no one except the six elders of the Long Family. Yet, after knowing Ye Liangchen for only half a day, he had been forced to his knees. As they looked at Ye Liangchen, they suddenly realized what an extraordinary man he was.

Looking down on the kneeling Long Yifei as if he were an ant, Ye Xiu said dismissively, ”Go back to the Long Family Manor and wait. When I’ve had enough fun with these three beauties, I’ll return and treat your wounds.”

With that, he left the shopping center with the three women.

Kneeling on the ground, Long Yifei was so furious he could have shattered his own teeth. He had never suffered such humiliation in his entire life.

”Ye Liangchen, just you wait! One day, I will kill you with my own hands!” A beast-like roar escaped Long Yifei’s lips as a towering inferno of rage threatened to burn him to ashes.

「...」

Ye Xiu returned to the Long Family Manor with Gu Meng, Nangong Yue, and Bai Xi.

Wen Rubing was watching TV in the living room. When she saw the three women walk in laden with shopping bags but no sign of Ye Xiu, she asked, ”Where’s that lecher Ye Liangchen?”

”He went to wake up Tang Bo,” Gu Meng said.

”Oh.” Wen Rubing nodded. Her eyes fell on their countless bags, and she couldn’t help but ask, ”What did Ye Liangchen buy for you all?”

”You’ll see in a bit,” Nangong Yue said mysteriously before she, Gu Meng, and Bai Xi hurried upstairs.

Wen Rubing pouted. ”So secretive. It’s not like I care what that lecher bought you.”

About half an hour later, however, Gu Meng, Nangong Yue, and Bai Xi came downstairs, dressed to the nines and looking so stunning that Wen Rubing was completely dazzled.

After bathing, the three women had changed from head to toe into the new clothes, shoes, and jewelry Ye Xiu had bought for them. They didn’t know how to apply makeup yet, so they had only put on lipstick. Even so, the transformation was immense. They looked like completely different people, practically glowing with radiance.

”This... Did Ye Liangchen buy all this for you?” Wen Rubing asked in astonishment. She truly hadn’t expected that simple clothes and jewelry could transform the three women so dramatically. She had always thought her looks were on par with theirs, but compared to them now, she felt like a plain country girl.
