I am the Ultimate Villain, So What If I Kill a Protagonist

196: Chapter 196 Greyhound, are you up to it?As he drank the third bowl of chicken soup, Ye Yun felt a churning in his abdomen, and a wave of pain quickly surged through him.

Fortunately, this time it was only a stomach ache, not like last time when he released all the foul air from his body, making him wish he could find a crack in the ground to crawl into.

This at least lessened the embarrassment on Ye Yun’s face.

”Ye Yun, what’s wrong? You look so pale. Could it be that the chicken soup I made isn’t good, or has your previous injury flared up again?”

Seeing Ye Yun frowning in pain, Liu Ruyan seemed to have guessed that the delicacies in the chicken soup had already taken effect.

She feigned nervousness, stepped forward, took the bowl from Ye Yun’s hand, and asked, pretending not to know the cause.

She even filled her face with worry to demonstrate her concern for Ye Yun.

”It’s nothing.”

The moment Liu Ruyan approached, a fresh fragrance wafted over—the faint scent of jasmine on her body—giving Ye Yun a refreshing feeling.

Looking at the pretty widow before him, who wore such a worried expression, Ye Yun felt that the pain in his abdomen was completely worth it.

He composed himself, even forcing a smile, and said softly and gently, ”It’s possible I ate something bad a few days ago, which is making my stomach uncomfortable.”

At the mention of eating something bad, the events from that day at Mei Feng’s villa immediately flooded Ye Yun’s mind, along with the pain of being thrown out of the villa.

In front of his beloved goddess Mei Feng, he had let out a loud, stinky fart, nearly gassing the goddess unconscious, only to be met with her disgust and thrown out.

After being ruthlessly thrown out by security, his mouth had made intimate contact with a pile of smelly, sticky black dog poop.

He had even subconsciously used his tongue to taste that disgusting flavor.

While finding a place to wash his face, he had even stepped on a bear trap, nearly crippling himself.

All those unlucky incidents flooded back into Ye Yun’s mind, causing his expression, which he had just managed to compose, to change drastically once again.

A sour, miserable expression appeared before Liu Ruyan.

Fortunately, he had finally shaken off his bad luck today. Not only that, but he had even found fortune in misfortune, with this beautiful widow playing out a scene of a beauty saving a hero.

Although his stomach was upset today, fortunately, he hadn’t caused too much of a scene in front of Liu Ruyan, nor had he let out a series of loud, stinky farts in her presence.

The embarrassing situation he had imagined didn’t happen, allowing Ye Yun, who had been nervous, to finally breathe a sigh of relief.

”Sister Ruyan.” Ye Yun rubbed his belly in discomfort, looking at the worried Liu Ruyan beside him, and asked in a bashful, hesitant whisper, ”May I ask, Sister Ruyan, where is the washroom?”

”Washroom?” Hearing the term pop out of Ye Yun’s mouth, Liu Ruyan feigned confusion, looked Ye Yun up and down, and then pretended to have a sudden realization. ”You mean the pit latrine, right?”

Pit latrine? Hearing this novel term, Ye Yun didn’t know what to say. Before the Ye family was wiped out, they were a prominent, famous family in Demon City, and their lifestyle was naturally quite luxurious. During his time abroad, even while amidst a hail of bullets and life-or-death situations, Ye Yun had never deprived himself and had lived an extremely luxurious life.

In this day and age, that someone could actually utter the words ”pit latrine” left him completely stunned.

”We in the countryside can’t compare to you city folk who use luxurious washrooms. We only have small pit latrines here, and all our waste is stored in them.”

”Don’t look down on these things. Although they’re a bit smelly, they’re natural fertilizer, which we country folk love the most. Our vegetables and fruits are all grown using this fertilizer.”

Hearing Liu Ruyan say that they were so poor that they even collected their own waste like treasure, Ye Yun’s expression looked as if he had just eaten a mouthful of feces. He seemed frozen, unable to snap out of it for a long time.

Liu Ruyan took in Ye Yun’s expressions and reactions. On the surface, she showed nothing, but in reality, she was already overjoyed.

A cowardly playboy like this, using such petty tricks, still wants to hit on me? Today, I’m going to make you experience the true life of a rural person.

Fortunately, as a skilled actress who had spent years mixing in nightlife venues, Liu Ruyan had excellent control over her emotions and refrained from any extreme actions or words.

”Sister Ruyan, my stomach is churning too violently. Could you... could you please take me to the pit latrine?”

In his heart, Ye Yun was ten thousand times unwilling to go to a pit latrine. However, he felt his stomach churning incessantly. If he didn’t resolve it quickly, he might have an accident right in front of Liu Ruyan. If he lost face in front of such a beauty, he would have no dignity left to live in this world.

Compared to having an accident and embarrassing himself in front of the great beauty Liu Ruyan, Ye Yun was willing to accept the indignity of squatting in a pit latrine.

Therefore, having absolutely no choice, Ye Yun had no option but to helplessly compromise.

”The pit latrine is right ahead. Follow me, I’ll take you there.” Liu Ruyan nodded and led him forward.

As for Ye Yun’s compromise, it was entirely within her expectations. One must know that the mastermind behind this script had gone to great lengths to deal with this playboy.

They hadn’t just prepared a seamless script for him; they had even brought in a team of psychology experts. Every word Ye Yun said and everything he was about to do had long been carefully analyzed by them.

Everything he thought and did could not escape the calculations of the mastermind behind the scenes. Such a terrifying trap—let alone dealing with a greenhorn like Ye Yun, even experienced old foxes would struggle to escape such calculations once they fell into them.

Ye Yun was in such a state now, clutching his stomach in pain, that he even had trouble getting up. As a kind person, Liu Ruyan naturally wouldn’t stand idly by. She immediately stepped forward, took Ye Yun’s hand to support him, and asked softly, ”Ye Yun, are you holding up okay? Do you need Sister Ruyan to help you?”

”Are you holding up okay?” ”Do you need Sister Ruyan to help?” These simple words were a massive insult to a man’s dignity.

He was the dignified Master of the Nether Palace, a veteran of the mercenary world, the Hades of the world—yet here he was, having his abilities questioned by a weak woman like Liu Ruyan, who doubted whether he was ”capable.” This was truly intolerable. Even if he couldn’t do it, he had to force himself to!
