I am the Ultimate Villain, So What If I Kill a Protagonist

173: Chapter 173 Admitting Softness Requires an Admitting AttitudeFacing Chu Yuan’s overwhelming pressure, Ye Yun almost couldn’t hold on and collapsed to the ground.

At this moment, he gritted his teeth, unleashing all the strength in his body and channeling it inward, his legs planted firmly into the ground.

The marble floor had long since been cracked into cobwebs by Ye Yun’s feet.

Every time Chu Yuan took a step toward Ye Yun, and with every footfall, the aura pressing down on Ye Yun intensified.

Ye Yun felt as if he were carrying Mount Tai on his back; the immense pressure forced him to bend over, as if his entire being was about to be crushed into the ground by that colossal weight.

After struggling to hold on for a moment, even though Ye Yun gritted his teeth and refused to retreat, he was still trembling all over from that powerful aura.

He had exerted all his strength, even mobilizing all the power from the Nether Divine Art he cultivated, yet he still could not withstand this powerful pressure.

”How is this possible? I, the dignified Pluto, the Dark King who dominated the mercenary world without an equal—why am I so vulnerable?”

”Even my master couldn’t do this. Why is Chu Yuan so powerful?”

”Damn it, this accursed Chu Yuan actually wants me to kneel before him in public. I will never submit, and I certainly won’t kneel.”

Ye Yun gritted his teeth, determined to resist to the death, even if it meant biting his tongue until it bled.

He had always believed in only kneeling to Heaven and Earth, his parents, and his master; beyond that, he would never kneel to anyone else.

Just as he was struggling to hold on, within his field of vision, Chu Yuan had already arrived just a short distance in front of him.

Immediately, that overwhelming pressure intensified once again.

This time, even though Ye Yun tried his best, he could not withstand it.

He felt his legs lose their strength at that moment, gradually giving way.

Thud!

With a thud, Ye Yun’s legs gave out, and he knelt straight down in front of Chu Yuan.

At this moment, Chu Yuan was like a high and mighty emperor, looking down at the ant on the ground, his expression remaining calm and indifferent.

It seemed that making Ye Yun kneel was just an ordinary, trivial matter.

Humiliation!

Ye Yun felt an unprecedented wave of humiliation flood his heart, driving him completely mad.

In front of so many people, he had knelt before the enemy who had snatched away his wife and daughter.

Even though his heart was filled with inexplicable grief, boundless rage, and grievance, Ye Yun was helpless and could change nothing.

Facing this powerful majesty, he had no choice but to tremble on the ground under Chu Yuan’s suppression.

”Ding! Host has forced the Protagonist Ye Yun to kneel in public, causing his mental state to become unstable. Host has gained 5000 villain points.”

A fat sheep is indeed a fat sheep; the harvest is always huge.

Chu Yuan paid no further attention. His tiger-like eyes quietly swept over Ye Yun, who was kneeling on the ground filled with rage, looking disdainful:

”Some people don’t know their own place, thinking that with their insignificant strength, they can conquer the heavens, the earth, and the very air. In the face of absolute power, they are nothing but trash.”

Mo Chou, standing to the side, witnessed this spectacular scene and couldn’t help but sneer.

I warned you kid long ago not to show off, but you insisted on being self-righteous. Now look, Young Master Chu has crushed you.

With his meager Ye Yun and the mere Nether Palace, in front of the powerful Chu family, it is nothing more than an ant trying to topple a tree, completely overestimating himself.

If Young Master Chu wanted to slaughter this guy, he wouldn’t even need to lift a finger.

”Team Leader, isn’t Ye Yun your little brother? Now that he’s being bullied by Young Master Chu, you seem to be gloating.”

Phoenix, standing beside him, asked in confusion.

”Phoenix, I heard Ye Yun once saved your life. It seems you don’t mind the chaos either.”

The two looked at each other and smiled silently.

Who told Ye Yun to be so fond of showing off, and to even set his sights on Phoenix? Even if he was her savior, Phoenix had no affection for such a person.

As for Mo Chou, being Chu Yuan’s man, the fact that he hadn’t followed his master’s orders to trick this ’little brother’ to his death was already giving Ye Yun a lot of face.

Thinking of Chu Yuan’s arrangements, keeping this guy Ye Yun around still had some utility.

Mo Chou steadied his wavering mind, stepped forward, and said with a smile: ”I am Mo Chou, greetings to Young Master Chu. My little brother here is a bit slow-witted and has acted recklessly, offending Young Master Chu. I will have him apologize to Young Master Chu immediately and beg for your forgiveness.”

As he finished speaking, Mo Chou turned his gaze to Ye Yun: ”Little Brother Ye, this matter is indeed your fault. Hurry up and apologize to Young Master Chu.”

”Apologize? Apologize to this guy Chu Yuan? Brother Mo, do you know what you’re saying?”

Ye Yun, as if his tail had been stepped on, said with an ugly expression: ”Not to mention that I’m not wrong—I was framed. Even if I, Ye Yun, die, I will never apologize to this guy Chu Yuan.”

”Die?”

Mo Chou sneered: ”Little Brother Ye, if you are so unafraid of death and continue to be arrogant, only to end up bleeding on the spot, as a friend, I can certainly buy you a nice coffin and a good grave.”

”But you have to think: if you die so miserably, will you still be able to avenge your great grudge?”

”Enduring humiliation to rise another day and wash away your shame—isn’t that the true character of a man?”

”I have said all I can; whether you live or die, you must consider it clearly.”

After saying this, Mo Chou couldn’t be bothered to pay attention to Ye Yun anymore.

If he insisted on going his own way, then he couldn’t blame his ’big brother’ for not saving him.

Hearing this, Ye Yun fell silent.

Resisting to the end and refusing to submit would likely result in him unable to escape Chu Yuan’s murderous hands.

Putting aside his dignity and enduring humiliation to live was the only way to have a chance at revenge.

His wife, Su Mingyue, and daughter, Ye Xiaoling, were still in Chu Yuan’s clutches.

The Ye family’s great vengeance had yet to be avenged.

And there was also Mei Feng; he hadn’t obtained this woman yet.

”Brother Mo is right. I, Ye Yun, have more important things to do. I absolutely cannot die here.”

”Even ants cling to life; what does a temporary submission today count for?”

His heart was filled with endless helplessness and unwillingness, but Ye Yun had to force it down. Gritting his teeth, he said: ”Chu Yuan, you win. Today, I, Ye Yun, admit defeat.”

”I win? Is this what you call giving in? You still seem to be acting high and mighty.”

Chu Yuan laughed.

The way the Protagonist gives in is always so unique—still aggressive, and even murderous.

”You!”

Ye Yun had the heart to fight Chu Yuan to the death.

If he really fought, the outcome would undoubtedly be his, Ye Yun’s, death.

Since he had chosen to endure for the time being and submit, what harm could a few soft words do?

Thinking of this, Ye Yun suppressed his temper and said with an unhappy face: ”It is I, Ye Yun, who was wrong.”

”You were wrong? Looking at you like that, it seems more like it was my fault?”

”Giving in requires the right attitude.”

Chu Yuan’s aura pressed down again, and the massive power directly crushed Ye Yun’s entire body into the ground.
