I am the Ultimate Villain, So What If I Kill a Protagonist

152: Chapter 152 This humble monk will thoroughly torment the female benefactor.”Evil spawn, cease your impudence!”

Just as Jiang Chen was about to be struck by Katerina’s flying daggers and lose his life, The Monk, Jiesha, who had been watching the show for a while, finally made a move.

Jiesha appeared before Jiang Chen out of nowhere and gently struck out with one palm.

A massive surge of internal energy swept out, forming a web of Qi.

Dozens of flying daggers stopped three feet away from Jiesha, completely unable to advance even half a step.

”Go!”

With a loud shout, Jiesha waved his hand gently. The flying daggers that had been suspended in mid-air suddenly changed direction and were all returned to Katerina.

Seeing that Jiesha had completely turned the tide of the battle with a single move and launched such a fierce counterattack, Katerina’s alluring face instantly turned pale.

Her delicate body shuddered, and she froze in place, as if she had been petrified, unable to make a single move.

She had never imagined that the flying daggers she had shot out would not only fail to claim the opponent’s life but would instead be deflected right back at her with a simple wave of his hand.

”This is the external release of internal energy. Are you a Transcendent expert?”

Katerina exclaimed in shock, yet she dared not show the slightest slack.

Facing the dozen or so flying daggers rebounding toward her, she had no choice but to use her lightness skill, constantly dodging and weaving, shifting her position to narrowly evade the lethal attack.

Having just completed her movements, before she could even steady herself, she heard a series of explosive sounds all around her.

Bang!

With a dull thud, Jiesha struck out with a palm from who knows where, landing squarely on Katerina’s abdomen.

This feather-light palm strike used less than thirty percent of his strength.

Even so, it was not something Katerina could withstand.

That massive force shattered Katerina’s internal organs; she felt as if a power inside her was about to burst out of her body at any moment.

Pfft!

A mouthful of bright red blood sprayed out like falling rain.

Katerina didn’t even have time to scream before she was sent flying backward like a kite with a broken string, landing five or six meters away.

Bang!

Her fragile body hit the ground hard.

Katerina felt unbearable pain all over her body; more than half of the tendons and bones in her body had been shattered.

With just a single soft move, this thieving monk had beaten her to the brink of death, leaving her with only one breath left as she lay on the ground, groaning.

”So... so strong!”

”Who... who exactly are you? What deep grudge do you have against our Nether Palace that you would resort to such vicious measures?”

Katerina extended her hand—a hand that had committed countless murders and was stained with endless blood—her entire body trembling.

Jiesha did not speak; he strode forward, step by step, approaching Katerina.

Watching his figure draw ever closer, Katerina’s heart was filled with utter panic and fear.

It was the panic of the unknown and the dread of death.

A chill swept through her entire body.

”Amitabha, my dharma name is Jiesha.”

”I have no grievances with your Nether Palace from the past, nor any enmity in the present. I do not wish to take any lives today.”

Hearing this, Katerina finally breathed a sigh of relief.

Although she did not know who this monk was, as long as she could preserve her life and find the Underworld Palace Master, she believed that with the Master’s strength, they would certainly be able to deal with this thieving monk and avenge Jared.

Unfortunately, the next second, Jiesha plunged Katerina into total despair.

”I do not like taking lives, so I must trouble you, female benefactor, to end your own life.”

While chatting and laughing, he had already decided Katerina’s fate, still wearing a smile on his face.

Those who didn’t know better would think he was an enlightened high monk.

Katerina, who had just been secretly rejoicing at having saved her life, felt the world go black upon hearing these words and nearly died of anger.

You bastard, if you don’t want to kill, you shouldn’t force her, Katerina, to commit suicide! Is there no justice in this world? A person shouldn’t be this shameless.

Katerina struggled to stand up, wanting to argue with The Monk.

However, her injuries prevented her from making any movement; even moving a single finger was an agony.

”Female benefactor, not only do you have no intention of ending your own life, but you also wish to continue fighting me to the death. You make it very difficult for me.”

Seeing that Katerina had no intention of ending her own life, Jiesha shook his head in resignation before looking at her and sighing.

”If you, female benefactor, are unwilling to do it yourself, even if I, The Monk, do not slaughter you, I will make you endure the most unbearable torture in this world.”

”I will proceed to sever the tendons in your hands and feet, and then I will crush the bones in your body, piece by piece. If you can manage to keep your life, it will be your own good fortune.”

”I wonder if you, female benefactor, would be willing to accept this approach of mine?”

You...

Hearing the harsh words Jiesha had unleashed, Katerina trembled all over with rage and spat out another mouthful of blood.

At this moment, she was severely injured and overcome with agitation; her face was already deathly pale.

If she were really to be tortured into an unrecognizable state as Jiesha had described, it would truly be a fate worse than death.

”I never expected that I, Katerina, one of the Four Great Protectors of the Nether Palace, who could command the wind and rain abroad, would suffer such humiliation the moment I entered the Dragon Kingdom.”

”Damn thieving monk, you just wait. By offending my Nether Palace, you will not have a good end.”

”The torture you spoke of, my Underworld Palace Master will certainly realize upon you one by one.”

As she spoke, Katerina gritted her teeth, mustered her last bit of strength, pulled the dagger from her waist, and plunged it fiercely into her chest.

”Female benefactor, why must you do this? Even before dying, you still want to threaten me.”

”I am most afraid of death. In order to preserve my own life, I can only do one more good deed: send your Underworld Palace Master down to reunite with you.”

Jiesha chanted a Buddhist mantra, confirmed that Katerina had committed suicide, and then, unhurriedly, walked over to Jiang Chen’s side.

”Disciple, was I not right? This was your opportunity and fortune. After this battle, your strength has improved once again, and you have already reached the late stage of the Dark Realm.”

Jiesha could not help but nod.

Although his cheap disciple had been beaten into sustaining severe injuries, he was able to break through on the spot; Jiesha couldn’t help but feel a torrent of astonishment.

This cheap disciple’s talent was simply too heaven-defying.

Not only did he, at the mid-stage of the Dark Realm, manage to counter-kill Jared, who was at the Great Circle of the Dark Realm.

And in such a short time, he had broken through again.

”I actually broke through.”

Reminded by Jiesha, Jiang Chen hurriedly checked his body and discovered that his strength had indeed improved once again.

Earlier, seeing his cheap master stand by and watch, causing him to almost be beaten to death, he had thought his master truly didn’t care about him and had harbored some complaints in his heart.

He never expected that his master actually had such painstaking intentions, wanting to use this life-or-death battle to help him break through.
