I am the Ultimate Villain, So What If I Kill a Protagonist

194: Chapter 194 Beauty Saves the HeroWith no hope of rescue, Ye Yun collapsed by the stream, thinking his sinful life would end right there.

He did not know how much time had passed, but when he groggily opened his eyes, the sky had already turned pitch black.

Subconsciously, he touched his left foot, which had been severely injured by a bear trap. A wave of pain surged into his heart and swept through his entire body, feeling as if his heart was being torn apart.

Even someone like him, who had been injured countless times and possessed an iron will, nearly let out a scream after being stimulated by this wave of pain.

”Although the rescue wasn’t particularly timely, causing the wound to get a bit infected, fortunately, the bleeding has stopped, and there is no danger to your life.”

”It seems Heaven has not forsaken me, Ye Yun, and will not let me die in such a humiliating way. To be rescued by a kind soul in the middle of the wilderness and have my life saved...”

Ye Yun muttered to himself, then began to survey his surroundings.

Although it was dark, for Ye Yun, who possessed the strength of the Transcendent, his senses were far superior to ordinary people, and he was still able to investigate everything.

He fixed his gaze on his left foot in front of him, which had been simply treated and bandaged.

He then closed his eyes to rest, beginning to examine his own injuries.

A moment later, Ye Yun finally let out a sigh of relief.

If an ordinary person were infected with a wound like this, a slight carelessness could lead to a life-threatening situation.

Even if they managed to keep their life, there would be a risk of amputation.

But now, Ye Yun possessed the strength of the Transcendent, and his physique was far stronger than that of an ordinary person.

He had experienced this level of injury countless times before.

Ye Yun believed that as long as he recuperated well for ten days or half a month, he would be as good as new.

It could be said without reservation that as the Son of Destiny, Ye Yun possessed the resilience of a cockroach; as long as his life was preserved, such injuries were completely commonplace for him.

”Presumably, the person who treated me must be someone from nearby.”

After a simple inspection of his surroundings, the walls around him had not been painted at all, keeping their original, rustic appearance.

Ye Yun just intended to get up, but because his injuries were too severe and he had lost too much blood, he could not rise after several attempts.

He had no choice but to helplessly close his eyes and fall back into a deep sleep.

As for whether there would be any danger after falling unconscious, Ye Yun was not worried.

Since the other party had gone to the trouble of saving him, it was impossible for them to take advantage of his unconsciousness to harm him.

He didn’t know how long he slept, but the darkness eventually dissipated, and a ray of sunlight shone through the window onto Ye Yun’s face.

Ye Yun, still groggy, opened his eyes once more.

”You’ve been asleep for a day and two nights. Thank goodness, you’ve finally woken up.”

Footsteps came from the doorway, and then a woman quickly stepped forward, arriving in front of Ye Yun with a faint smile: ”That The Monk’s medical skills are truly incredible; even though you had one foot in the gates of hell, he still managed to save you.”

”Miss, you... did you save me?”

Ye Yun looked up and down at this woman who had suddenly appeared. She was dressed simply, with no decorations on her body and no makeup on her face; she was completely natural.

Yet even so, it could not hide her lotus-like, fresh beauty.

Although she could not compare to women like Su Mingyue or Mei Feng, she was the type who grew on you.

Ye Yun, who had originally lost too much blood and was as pale as paper, felt his face brighten after seeing this woman.

Her whole appearance was extremely ordinary, and one could not see any outstanding features, but it could not hide her curvaceous figure.

It had to be said that he, Ye Yun, was lucky. After surviving a great disaster, he could still encounter such a girl, making him unable to resist stealing a few glances.

Without needing to say more, Ye Yun understood that this young lady was his savior.

The more Ye Yun looked, the more he liked it, feeling that she was thousands and ten thousands of times more beautiful than Su Mingyue and Mei Feng.

Inner beauty is the true beauty.

”I only found you unconscious; the person who truly saved you was The Monk.”

The attractive village girl, being stared at so directly by Ye Yun, felt a blush suddenly rise on her little face.

She used her extremely attractive eyes to glare fiercely at this stinking rascal, using this to express the dissatisfaction in her heart.

Then she shook her head, not taking credit for saving him.

”Whether it is you, Miss, or the The Monk you mentioned, both of you are my, Ye Yun’s, saviors.”

”For this great life-saving favor, in my current condition, I have no way to repay you. But please rest assured, Miss, as long as you have any requests in the future, I, Ye Yun, will certainly go through fire and water without hesitation.”

Ye Yun also understood that by looking at the young lady with such a lecherous gaze, she would certainly be dissatisfied, and it was inappropriate.

After being glared at by the beauty, he awkwardly touched his nose and then changed the subject.

”What talk of repayment? You should focus on healing your wounds first.”

”Also, don’t keep calling me ’Miss’ this and ’Miss’ that; I have long since been married to someone else.”

”It’s... it’s just a pity that my... my short-lived husband passed away early, and I have been a widow for several years.”

”If you don’t mind our country-folk way of addressing people, and since I am older than you, you can call me Sister Ruyan.”

Liu Ruyan was very clear about her own status and even clearer about what she needed to do next. She didn’t take the repayment that Ye Yun spoke of seriously at all.

She then shook her head and gave Ye Yun a simple introduction to her background.

”We are all just ordinary people; there is no distinction between high and low status.”

”Sister Ruyan, since you were able to save my life at the most critical moment for me, Ye Yun, you are my savior.”

”Rest assured, in my, Ye Yun’s, heart, you will be the person I respect the most.”

Ye Yun was originally a rich second-generation playboy. Because of the family extermination event ten years ago, his personality changed drastically, and he had since experienced ten years of life as a mercenary.

But the nature of a playboy had long been engraved in his heart and had not changed.

Upon learning that the beautiful Sister Ruyan before him was actually a widow.

Plus the fact that she had saved his life, little thoughts immediately rose in Ye Yun’s heart, and he couldn’t help but want to tease her.

As the master of the Nether Palace, the dignified God of War Protagonist, Ye Yun was a man of broad heart. His heart already held Su Mingyue, Mei Feng, and his master, Master Bai Mudan; having one more, Liu Ruyan, would not be too many for him.

He believed that with his abilities, even if he couldn’t handle Mei Feng or Su Mingyue, taking down such a little widow would be a breeze.

Liu Ruyan was immediately flushed red from Ye Yun’s few teasing words.

Her charming, alluring gaze once again fell upon Ye Yun, and she glanced at him, seemingly dissatisfied with Ye Yun’s overly direct behavior.
