I am the Ultimate Villain, So What If I Kill a Protagonist

163: Chapter 163 The Disgusting BodyguardFaced with a woman like Mei Feng, who made his heart flutter completely and for whom he was even willing to fall for, Ye Yun would never hold her responsible for the destruction of the Ye Family.

As an egoist, he felt nothing but admiration for Mei Feng, harboring no hatred whatsoever; subconsciously, he erased her from the list of those responsible for his vendetta.

In fact, there was another extremely important reason: even if this matter really had something to do with the Mei Family, it was the handiwork of Mei Feng’s father, Patriarch Mei Ling.

If he were to settle the score, he should go find Patriarch Mei Ling, not project his hatred onto a young woman.

Ye Yun quickly jumped out of bed, got dressed, and rushed out of the room.

The Mei Family Courtyard was quite large, divided into an inner courtyard and an outer courtyard, containing hundreds of rooms.

Although Ye Yun had become Mei Feng’s personal bodyguard, the place where he lived was still restricted to the outer courtyard.

It was not too far from the underground parking lot of the inner courtyard.

Crossing a cobblestone path, he arrived at his destination in less than a minute.

”Sister Xu Xue, since President Mei is going out so late at night, has something urgent happened?”

Ye Yun stepped forward quickly, approached Sister Xu Xue, and asked in a low voice.

”President Mei’s affairs are not for the likes of us to ask about at will. Don’t be such a busybody in the future.”

”Hurry up and get the car. We are taking President Mei to the Marriott Hotel.”

Sister Xu Xue said with a frown.

Back when Ye Yun wanted to stay by Mei Feng’s side, he had demonstrated his skills in public. Sister Xu Xue had led several bodyguards to attack him together, but they couldn’t defeat him, nor could they even touch the hem of his clothes. Sister Xu Xue couldn’t help but look at this highly skilled Ye Yun with newfound respect. Therefore, upon hearing Ye Yun’s question, the usually cold Sister Xu Xue said a few extra words.

”The Marriott Hotel?”

Hearing that Mei Feng was actually going to a hotel so late at night, Ye Yun furrowed his brows. He felt an ominous premonition that something bad was about to happen. He wondered what on earth this ice-cold president was thinking, running off to such a place at this hour.

”Hurry up and get in the car.”

Just as Ye Yun was feeling confused, all of Mei Feng’s bodyguards were in position. Mei Feng, wearing a pale blue dress and red high heels, appeared in Ye Yun’s field of vision.

”Very well, President Mei!”

Having followed Mei Feng for several years, even when encountering major events, Sister Xu Xue had never seen her this anxious. Hearing her young mistress’s urging, Sister Xu Xue didn’t dare say anything more; she hurriedly opened the car door, ushered Mei Feng inside, and then took the driver’s seat herself.

That cold voice revealed a touch of unquestionable dominance. To the ears of Sister Xu Xue and the group of bodyguards, that voice was like a booming bell, extremely intimidating. Unfortunately, to Ye Yun, it sounded exactly like a spoiled young lady from a wealthy family acting haughty.

He subconsciously turned his head, fixed his gaze on the haughty young lady, and couldn’t help but look Mei Feng up and down.

”Beautiful. Today, Mei Feng is truly breathtakingly beautiful.”

”Such a great beauty, I’m afraid no one but me, Ye Yun, is worthy of enjoying her company.”

Mei Feng was tall, especially with those long, beautiful legs that almost made Ye Yun have a nosebleed. Her entire figure was graceful and curvaceous, and paired with that blue dress, the way it swayed with her urgent movements was simply soul-stirring and mesmerizing.

The first time he saw Mei Feng, Ye Yun thought she was breathtakingly beautiful. At this moment, he felt even more that she possessed a unique temperament. Her exquisite face, perfect figure, and well-tailored outfit meant she didn’t need to do anything to seduce; she was already an unabashed temptation.

”Ye Yun, if you dare to stare at me with that lecherous look again, be careful, or I will gouge out your dog eyes.”

Women have a sharp sixth sense, especially when someone is staring at them intently, which gave Mei Feng a very uncomfortable feeling. As Ye Yun stared at Mei Feng with that aggressive gaze, Mei Feng noticed his actions.

”Yes, yes, it’s my fault. I will never dare to offend President Mei again.”

Peeking at a goddess and getting caught was one thing, but being called out in public made Ye Yun feel incredibly awkward. Especially since the bodyguards around Mei Feng, upon hearing her words, couldn’t help but look at him, wishing they could tear him apart. Ye Yun had to blush and apologize profusely.

”It’s just that you are as beautiful as a fairy, President Mei. I, Ye Yun, couldn’t help myself for a moment, which is why I made a mistake and offended you. Please, President Mei, do not hold it against a small fry like me.”

”Disgusting creature.”

Mei Feng didn’t have much affection for Ye Yun to begin with. He was oily and smooth-talking, and the way he looked at her was full of lechery. Every time she saw him, she even felt like vomiting. If it weren’t for the fact that Ye Yun had some skills, she would never have hired such a bodyguard.

Women are just like that; when they have a place for you in their hearts and fully accept your existence, no matter if you are right or wrong, they will always believe that everything you do is right. Similarly, when they have absolutely no place for you in their hearts, no matter how much you do, how much you sacrifice, or even if you speak flowery words and lay your heart bare, she will think that all your actions are disgusting and will only make her despise you even more.

Ye Yun hadn’t expected that his sincere praise would not only fail to please the beauty but instead make her despise him even more. Ye Yun stood there stunned, his embarrassment and awkwardness written all over his face.

”You brat, you actually want to eat swan meat? Why don’t you look in the mirror and see what kind of pathetic wretch you are.”

”You’re just a mere bodyguard; what does it matter if you can fight? What right do you have to even think about our President Mei?”

”It’s only because President Mei promoted you that you are qualified to be her bodyguard; otherwise, you’re just a brutish thug who can fight.”

The surrounding bodyguards, seeing Mei Feng ignore Ye Yun’s fawning and seeing him get shut down, started kicking him while he was down, looking at Ye Yun with disdain. Protagonists always seem to come with a taunt skill; no matter where they go, they get ridiculed. Ye Yun had acted so cocky; the last time he arrived, he beat them to a pulp, causing them to lose face in front of Mei Feng. All these behaviors and his previous showboating had long since made these bodyguards dissatisfied. Now that they finally had a chance to kick him while he was down, they wouldn’t let it pass, trampling on Ye Yun and belittling him as worthless.
