I am the Ultimate Villain, So What If I Kill a Protagonist

166: Chapter 166 I’m not a security guard, I’m a bodyguardBeing called a dog by Mei Feng in front of everyone did not bother Ye Yun too much.

Over the past ten years, countless hails of bullets and brushes with death had thickened Ye Yun’s skin to the point where it was thicker than a city wall; why would he care about such trivial words?

On the contrary, Ye Yun actually felt a bit secretly pleased that she would characterize him in such a way.

To make a woman interested in him and quickly capture her heart,

one must first leave an indelible impression in her mind.

Since Mei Feng had just scolded him as a dog in front of so many people and was so furious with him, he must have certainly left quite a strong impression in her mind.

She was indeed the woman he, Ye Yun, had set his sights on; she truly had personality and a unique character.

”Woman, you have been thoroughly targeted by me.”

Lu Meimei merely glanced at Ye Yun; naturally, she had little interest in such a bodyguard and did not even take him seriously.

Having finally managed to make Mei Feng back down, Lu Meimei said with a smile, ”It’s just a minor matter, I’ll take my leave first.”

After saying this, Lu Meimei turned her head again, fixed her gaze on Ye Yun, and gave him a charming smile.

Then, she took her bodyguard and entered the hotel.

Mei Feng also turned back and glared fiercely at Ye Yun, her eyes revealing a look of displeasure.

This damned Ye Yun was always causing trouble for her and making her lose face; she would definitely have to discipline him after they returned.

Otherwise, if she ran into others next time and they said the Mei Family had no upbringing, wouldn’t that be absolutely humiliating?

Afterwards, she ignored him and stormed into the hotel.

Seeing this, Ye Yun hurried to catch up, wanting to follow in Mei Feng’s footsteps.

But just as he reached the hotel entrance, he was stopped by several security guards.

”Stop right there. This is the VIP entrance, not a place for security guards like you to enter. If you want to go in, go to the side door and register your identity.”

The hotel security guard looked at Ye Yun, who was wearing a security uniform, and immediately mistook him for one of his own colleagues.

Security guard?

Hearing this, Ye Yun’s face darkened. Was he a security guard?

He looked at his security uniform.

No matter what, he was still Mei Feng’s personal bodyguard; how could he be mentioned in the same breath as mere door-opening security guards?

He rubbed his nose and said seriously, ”I am here accompanying President Mei to attend the banquet, not as some security guard.”

Attending the banquet?

The security guard at the door was stunned for a moment. He looked Ye Yun up and down and said with a mocking expression, ”Kid, stop cracking international jokes here. Do you know what kind of banquet this is?”

”If you were to barge in and cause trouble, ten lives wouldn’t be enough to pay for it.”

”I’m not joking. I am President Mei’s personal bodyguard. I need to go in to protect President Mei. Let me in immediately.”

Ye Yun couldn’t be bothered to waste any more words with these security guards, so he turned sideways and tried to force his way in.

”Since you claim you are here accompanying President Mei to the banquet, then show us your invitation.”

The security guard at the door, seeing that Ye Yun didn’t know what was good for him, no longer had his previous pleasant demeanor, and even his tone became somewhat impolite.

Invitation?

As a mere bodyguard, Ye Yun naturally didn’t have such a thing as an invitation.

Ye Yun suppressed his anger, frowned, and said, ”I don’t have any invitation. I am President Mei’s personal bodyguard. If you don’t believe me, you can go and ask President Mei.”

”Besides, why was that short-haired woman earlier able to go in with the others? Why is it not allowed when it comes to me?”

While speaking, Ye Yun pushed aside the security guard next to him, intending to force his way in.

The person he was protecting had already entered, and worried that Mei Feng might be in danger, he naturally had to follow.

As a personal bodyguard, Ye Yun felt he had to fulfill his duty and protect Mei Feng without leaving her side.

Otherwise, if Mei Feng encountered danger or was harassed by some rich young master and taken advantage of, Ye Yun wouldn’t even have a place to cry.

You still dare to barge in?

The hotel security guard was completely enraged. He reached out and grabbed Ye Yun’s arm, while simultaneously grabbing the walkie-talkie on his shoulder and shouting loudly, ”Get people over here now! Someone is causing trouble at the entrance! Come quickly!”

Before long, a dozen security guards wielding electric batons rushed in from all directions, wanting to stop Ye Yun from forcing his way into the hotel.

These people were just a bunch of ordinary people; Ye Yun didn’t take them seriously at all, but he dared not barge in recklessly now.

If he really forced his way into the hotel, he might completely ruin this banquet and cause Mei Feng to offend those families in Shanghai.

By then, if Mei Feng became furious and fired him, wouldn’t all of Ye Yun’s efforts during this time be in vain?

”Brothers, I really came with President Mei. I am her bodyguard and want to go in to protect her safety. Could you please make a call and confirm with President Mei?”

Forced by circumstances, Ye Yun had to patiently explain.

If he could convince these security guards, resolve the matter peacefully, and get them to let him in, that would be the best outcome for everyone.

Just at this moment, a roaring sound arose, growing from far to near.

Under the gaze of everyone, a Range Rover parked steadily at the hotel entrance.

The driver’s side door opened slowly, and a beautiful figure slowly stepped out from the driver’s seat.

That fair skin, the curvaceous silhouette, and a pair of long, beautiful legs immediately attracted the attention of those who had not yet entered the hotel.

”It looks like coming here today was really worth it; beauties are arriving one after another.”

Ye Yun rubbed his chin, still wondering who this beauty was.

The person who arrived was none other than Zuo Shishi.

Her gaze was icy as she scanned the surroundings, and only then did she bend down to open the back seat door.

”No way, such a stunning woman is actually just a bodyguard?”

Upon seeing Zuo Shishi’s actions, everyone opened their mouths in surprise, wearing expressions of disbelief.

If that was the case, then the identity of the big shot sitting in the car was self-evident.

Sure enough, under everyone’s gaze, a handsome figure emerged and came into everyone’s view.

The man carried a unique aristocratic aura that gave people a transcendent feeling.

”Young Master Chu! It’s Young Master Chu who has graced us with his presence!”

The moment someone recognized Chu Yuan, they let out an exclamation.

At this, no one could sit still anymore.

The wealthy young ladies, in particular, had eyes gleaming with golden light as they stared fixedly at Chu Yuan, revealing expressions of greed.

As the young master of the Shanghai Chu Family, everyone knew clearly what Chu Yuan represented.

Many people had already started plotting in their hearts at this moment.

If they could climb onto the big tree that was Chu Yuan, even if they couldn’t enter the Chu Family, they could still fly up to the branches and become phoenixes, and their families would also rise with the tide.
