I am the Ultimate Villain, So What If I Kill a Protagonist

36: Chapter 36: The Second Protagonist Delivers Goods to Your Door”Brother, it’s not that I want to lecture you, but you were just too good to that woman. That’s why she’s so ungrateful and betrayed you.”

”Today, I am determined to make her lose all face and keep her from being able to hold her head up high.”

Cao Shuwen, the embodiment of justice, had already made up his mind to vent his brother’s frustration.

Zhang Yang hesitated.

Needless to say, if he went to cause a scene, it would definitely make Nie Yuqing lose all face and leave her unable to step down.

However, would such an action hurt Nie Yuqing too deeply?

”Brother, at a time like this, are you still thinking about Nie Yuqing in every way?”

”If you really want to get her back, then listen to your brother. Take this opportunity to completely cut off her thoughts.”

”Perhaps after she is abandoned by that pretty boy, she will return to your embrace.”

”Of course, whether you still want to wear such a worn-out shoe is up to you, brother.”

Cao Shuwen’s words completely swayed Zhang Yang.

Thinking back to when he had borrowed money from Nie Yuqing and her heartless, turning-against-him attitude, Zhang Yang felt pained once again.

Just as Cao Shuwen said, if he made Nie Yuqing lose all face this time, perhaps she would return to his side.

Of course, Zhang Yang no longer cared for such a woman.

Even if she begged him to take her in, Zhang Yang could never like her again; he would only treat such a woman as a plaything.

He wanted to repay the pain Nie Yuqing had caused him a thousand, ten thousand times over.

”Fine, I’m going over there right now.”

Hanging up the phone, Zhang Yang looked at the two food deliveries in his trunk, gritted his teeth, threw them away, and rode his e-bike straight to his destination.

Inside the restaurant.

Chu Yuan hadn’t taken the small incident outside to heart at all and had brought Nie Yuqing and Zuo Shishi to a relatively quiet private room.

Because of Cao Shuwen’s appearance and his few words of abuse, Nie Yuqing was somewhat distracted and had no appetite to eat.

Chu Yuan couldn’t be bothered to care; he ordered seven or eight dishes in a row and asked for a bottle of red wine.

Wine and meat pass through the intestines; no matter what is missing, one shouldn’t starve oneself.

”It’s just running into a dog that likes to bark. Don’t let these things affect your mood.”

”Remember, you are now Chu Yuan’s woman. With this young master backing you up, there’s nothing to be afraid of.”

”As for those things in your past, just let them be completely in the past.”

Seeing that Nie Yuqing was still unhappy, Chu Yuan wrapped his arm around her, pulled her into his embrace, and comforted her with a few words.

These words seemed to act as a reassurance pill for Nie Yuqing, causing her mood to gradually improve.

With Zuo Shishi and Nie Yuqing taking turns serving him, the table was a mess, and the wine and food had been mostly consumed by the three of them.

After being wined and dined, it was only natural to do what they wanted to do.

Fortunately, Chu Yuan didn’t let his bestial instincts take over; knowing they were out in public, he still knew how to exercise restraint.

Nie Yuqing blushed with shyness.

”Alright, alright, I’ll do whatever you want.”

...

”Nie Yuqing, so you really are here.”

With a loud crash, Zhang Yang, dressed in his food delivery uniform, and Cao Shuwen, missing two front teeth, stormed in aggressively.

”Nie Yuqing, I never thought you were this kind of woman. Today, I have finally seen your true colors.”

Zhang Yang looked at Nie Yuqing with resentment, his eyes filled with a trace of disdain.

His brother Cao Shuwen had told him more than once that Nie Yuqing’s purpose in being with him was impure and that she was just coveting his money, but he had never wanted to believe it.

Now, facts spoke louder than words.

The scene before him left him no choice but to believe it.

”What kind of person I am has nothing to do with you. You two are pestering me like stray dogs; even if you aren’t annoyed, I am.”

Nie Yuqing was not in a good mood either, and she was completely impatient.

She had broken up with Zhang Yang long ago, and the two had absolutely no connection whatsoever.

Yet this wimp had actually come over to borrow money from his ex-girlfriend; he was capable of doing such shameless things.

And now, he was even angrier and had run over here to yell and scream.

He was simply a shameless scoundrel. Nie Yuqing must have been blind to have known such a shameless person.

”Heh, it’s true that it has nothing to do with me, but I think it should have something to do with the man beside you.”

”Don’t tell me this is your cousin or your brother. I think he’s just your male best friend, or the sugar daddy keeping you.”

Zhang Yang stared fixedly at Chu Yuan, an inexplicable rage rising rapidly within him.

It was one thing that this guy in front of him was better looking than him, but he was also dressed in designer brands and was richer than him.

The most important point was that he actually dared to keep his ex-girlfriend.

This was truly intolerable.

Chu Yuan looked truly innocent; since when did he have the treatment of a Protagonist, having people come out to cause trouble wherever he went?

However, it seemed this guy had provoked the wrong person.

As the dignified ultimate villain, he hadn’t even bullied you yet, and here you were, delivering yourself to his doorstep.

”Ding! Protagonist Zhang Yang detected. The system has automatically intercepted the Protagonist’s plot for you.”

A system prompt interrupted Chu Yuan’s train of thought.

Damn it!

This guy was actually a Protagonist, and a Protagonist who delivered himself to the door at that.

A memory regarding Zhang Yang’s plot quickly flooded into Chu Yuan’s mind.

This type of Protagonist starts with a completely tragic story.

Family decline, father dead, mother ill, ex-girlfriend stolen by a rich second generation—all sorts of miserable encounters gathered in one person.

Later, justice descended from the sky, and he obtained the God-level Food Delivery System. Relying on delivering food, he obtained system rewards, met a beautiful CEO, gained her favor, and from then on soared into the sky, married a beautiful wealthy woman, and reached the pinnacle of life.

However, it seemed this guy didn’t have a good brain.

This kind of small-time Protagonist shouldn’t be hiding and developing stealthily, yet he insisted on jumping around in front of him, the ultimate villain.

Did he want him to send him away immediately?

With Lin Tianyang back then, Chu Yuan had still been wary of his master, so he had sent him away only after eliminating Lin Tianyang’s master.

With Zhang Yang right in front of him, Chu Yuan didn’t have so many concerns; he could send him on his way anytime, anywhere.

”System, if this young master slaughters this guy Zhang Yang right now, what rewards do I get?”

”Ding! The Protagonist Zhang Yang’s God-level Food Delivery System is not yet activated. If the host kills him now, there are no rewards.”

”Ding! Host has triggered a random task.”

”Task 1: Force the Protagonist Zhang Yang to bow to reality. Task reward: 2000 villain points.”

”Task 2...”

The system’s words completely extinguished Chu Yuan’s thoughts.

Chu Yuan wouldn’t do things without benefits.

It was probably because the system saw that Zhang Yang was too useless that it was reluctant to give any rewards.

The two tasks were worth at least 8000 villain points, so he might as well eat the meat that was already in his mouth.

However, according to the plot, it seemed this kid’s mother was seriously ill, and he was begging everyone for money.

As the saying goes, even a hero can be stumped by a penny.

Money is a good thing.
