I am the Ultimate Villain, So What If I Kill a Protagonist

22: Chapter 22 A woman should be pretty, even in mourning clothes. The interviews for the female secretary position were ongoing.

Although the next few young women were quite good in terms of looks and education, they still failed to satisfy Chu Yuan.

Just as Chu Yuan was about to give up, the very last girl completely hooked his heart.

It is said that a woman’s charm is best accentuated by white.

The young girl was dressed all in white, with jet-black hair and willow-leaf eyebrows.

Her skin was radiant; it wasn’t just snow-white, it was simply flawless and natural.

The most dazzling feature, however, was her eyes.

Her eyes were as beautiful as flowers.

Without needing to do anything to entice, every movement of hers seemed capable of bewitching the soul.

It was hard to look away.

That explosive, devilish figure of hers had every part perfectly proportioned.

As long as a man was normal, it would be impossible not to have some thoughts upon seeing such a seductive figure.

Unless, of course, he really wasn’t a man.

Chu Yuan thought, his heart churning, that this woman was too charming; she gave people the feeling of being struck by lightning.

The girl’s appearance wasn’t exactly legendary beauty, but the impression she gave was incredibly attractive.

He took a quick, intense look before averting his gaze, avoiding appearing lecherous in front of her, and then put on a sanctimonious smile.

”What is your name?”

In today’s interviews, this was the first time Chu Yuan spoke before Manager Cao Zheng.

The girl looked up at Chu Yuan; with just that one action, her eyes were filled with seduction.

A phrase couldn’t help but surface in Chu Yuan’s mind: ”born with natural charm.”

Chu Yuan thought, his heart churning, that her gaze was too alluring; it gave one the sensation of an electric shock.

Such a woman was a rare gem; if he let her go, wouldn’t it be a waste of a treasure?

The girl opened her cherry lips and said with a smile, ”Hello, Examiner. My name is Nie Yuqing, and I am from Magic City University.”

Chu Yuan didn’t say anything more and signaled for Manager Cao Zheng to continue.

Although he desperately wanted to swallow this woman whole, when it came down to it, he felt a bit hesitant.

This woman was simply a femme fatale; although she wasn’t the most beautiful person, she possessed absolute allure.

Someone like this, if kept by his side, would be an unstable factor.

And if she had the intention to seduce, many men would likely fall into her trap willingly.

Looking at her, she didn’t seem like a young girl, but more like a mature woman.

What man wouldn’t have thoughts upon seeing such a woman? They would all want to devour her, so how could she still be a maiden up until now?

After Manager Cao Zheng finished the routine questioning, he fixed his gaze on Chu Yuan once again.

After all, he was the one who would decide whether Nie Yuqing stayed or left.

”Miss Nie, I am truly sorry, but the hiring decision has already been made. You have made this trip in vain.”

”It’s unfair, this is not fair at all. Since the decision has already been made, why arrange this interview for me?” Nie Yuqing cried out.

Chu Yuan waved his hand, looking helpless, and said, ”There is nothing I can do about it. I admit that you are indeed good, but unfortunately, there were even better candidates before you.”

”Of course, with Miss Nie’s excellent qualifications, you will surely find a better job than at Tianlong Group.”

Finding a job better than being the secretary to the Chairman of Tianlong Group was simply impossible.

Nie Yuqing felt a turmoil in her heart.

As the top entity in the Magic City and even the entire Dragon Kingdom, where else could there be better conditions?

Nie Yuqing’s family situation was very difficult; this was a choice that could change her entire fate.

She had originally thought she could leap over the dragon gate and soar to the sky.

She didn’t expect that, in the end, she would get such a result.

After careful preparation, all she got was rejection.

She didn’t understand why.

In fact, from the moment she entered, she had vaguely sensed that Chu Yuan’s intentions toward her were impure.

She had already planned to use her own advantages and give him a little taste of sweetness.

The most important thing was to be able to enter Tianlong Group.

As long as she could enter the group and become the secretary to the Chairman of Tianlong Group, even if she wasn’t favored by the Chairman and didn’t become a phoenix,

even if she were transferred to another department later, as long as she had held this position, she could use that to subtly spread rumors about herself and the boss. People in the group would think this was a form of cultivation for her.

All of this was her calculation.

Not just for one year, but even considering the next five or ten years.

Nie Yuqing was very clear about her own assets; a girl like her could never have a quiet life, no matter where she went.

Instead of that, she might as well choose to maximize her benefits.

But why did the examiner, who was quite interested in her just a moment ago, suddenly turn heartless?

”I am not convinced. I suspect you are manipulating things behind the scenes. I want to see your Chairman,” Nie Yuqing shouted excitedly.

She had already made up her mind; since she couldn’t enter directly, she might as well make a scene.

If she could see the Chairman of Tianlong Group, perhaps she would still have a chance.

”You don’t need to shout. This young master is the Chairman of Tianlong Group. Are you suspecting that this young master is manipulating things behind the scenes?”

”I don’t like being threatened by others. You dare to threaten this young master to his face.”

”Tell me, should I send you to Dongshan to enjoy some free lunches, or sell you into the deep mountains and forests to serve those old men who need women?”

Chu Yuan was angry and revealed a demonic smile.

”Ah... you... you are the Chairman?”

”I... I didn’t mean that!”

Nie Yuqing was stunned. Reporting the Chairman for manipulating things in front of him was like a blind person lighting a lamp to go to the bathroom—useless and ridiculous.

”You say you didn’t mean it? It looks like you did it on purpose?”

Chu Yuan was relentless, clearly having no intention of letting Nie Yuqing off easily.

”No, I... I didn’t mean that.”

Nie Yuqing stammered, not knowing how to explain.

After all, she was someone who hadn’t experienced much of the treacherous society. Although she had some petty schemes, when encountering such a big shot as Chu Yuan, especially when he was looking for trouble, Nie Yuqing completely broke down.

”Miss Nie Yuqing, I am the dignified Chairman of Tianlong Group, and now you have framed me as someone who manipulates things behind the scenes.”

”If this young master doesn’t deal with you, I fear I won’t be able to manage the company in the future.”

”How about this: considering it was an unintentional mistake, I will send you to Dongshan to experience ten years of free lunches. What do you think?”

Chu Yuan spoke cryptically, but Nie Yuqing seemed to understand what he meant.

Being locked up for ten years.

Ten years of her prime youth would be spent in a pitch-black prison.

After ten years, what assets would she have left? Her entire life would probably be ruined.

A top student from Magic City University, a convict who had eaten prison food for ten years—from heaven to hell in just a few seconds. Nie Yuqing simply couldn’t accept this transition.

”Chairman Chu, I didn’t mean it. I really didn’t mean it. I beg you, please let me go.”

Nie Yuqing fell to her knees with a thud, pleading with tears in her eyes.

”You had better go to the police station and turn yourself in to seek lenient treatment.”

Chu Yuan walked to the door, suddenly remembered something, took a business card, handed it to Nie Yuqing, and said, ”This is my number. If Miss Nie is unwilling to turn yourself in, this young master will report the matter to the police tomorrow to have you arrested.”
