I am the Ultimate Villain, So What If I Kill a Protagonist

7: Chapter 7 Cleaning Up a Few WormsTianlong Group.

Upon arriving at the group, Chu Yuan immediately convened a board meeting.

Relying on the shares his mother transferred to him, Chu Yuan could not be bothered with going through the motions or fussing over trivialities; he simply took over as the chairman of the company.

Tianlong Group had always been a Chu family asset. Even without mentioning that Chu Yuan possessed absolute shareholding, just the status of being the eldest young master of the Chu family made seizing control of the company an effortless matter, leaving no room for anyone to object.

Of course, the senior executives of the group could not openly voice any opposition.

After all, this was originally a Chu family company; Chu Yuan could play with it however he wanted.

In the eyes of these people, Chu Yuan, this rich second-generation, taking over the company was nothing but beneficial and harmless to them.

What does a mere rich second-generation know about running a company? Wouldn’t the actual power of the company still be in their hands?

With Chu Yuan acting as their shield, they would be able to act even more unscrupulously.

Chu Yuan was well aware of these people’s petty thoughts. After the meeting adjourned, he directly kept a group of people behind.

Looking at the eight pot-bellied, fat-eared people in front of him, Chu Yuan felt a wave of nausea.

He could not be bothered to settle scores for the evil deeds these eight people had committed.

In the book, when the Protagonist Lin Tianyang dealt with the Chu family, it was these very people who directly betrayed them and threw themselves into Lin Tianyang’s arms.

Eating the Chu family’s food while smashing the Chu family’s pot.

How could people like them ever change?

No!

They cannot change.

”I won’t waste my breath on you. Sign this share transfer agreement, and I will spare your miserable lives.”

Under the cold instruction of Chu Yuan, Zuo Shishi took several share transfer agreements and handed them to the people in front of her.

”This... Young Master, what... what do you mean by this? Even if you are a new official taking office, there is no need to take it out on us old veterans.”

The one who spoke was Qin Gang, the Minister of the Personnel Department, an old veteran who had followed the Chu family and also held the most shares among these people.

Likewise, Qin Gang was a person with a long history of evil deeds; using his position, he wantonly arranged people in the company, embezzled, took bribes, and accepted kickbacks.

Just what Zuo Shishi had investigated amounted to nearly two billion.

The others heard this, their faces turned ugly, and they began to whisper among themselves.

Regarding Chu Yuan’s actions, although they dared to be angry but dared not speak, they had no intention of submitting.

”Young Master, you haven’t managed a company, so you don’t know. Regardless of anything else, we old veterans have put in hard work for the company, even if we haven’t made great contributions.”

”For the Young Master to seize our shares as soon as you arrive—if word gets out, it won’t be good for your reputation. I hope the Young Master will think twice,” Qin Gang said.

”Seize your shares?”

”Look at the things you have done. Not chopping you up is already my benevolence.”

With a loud bang, Chu Yuan slapped the table and threw the evidence he had prepared long ago in front of everyone.

Qin Gang seemed to have a bad feeling and hurriedly picked up a document.

”This...”

”This is impossible. I... I was framed. Young Master, please do not listen to slander.”

Qin Gang was terrified and still wanted to quibble.

The other seven looked at the various major deeds they had committed, their faces turning ashen; it was a worse sight than if someone in their family had died.

If this evidence were exposed, they wouldn’t have enough lives to pay for it even if they died ten or eight times.

Chu Yuan watched coldly from the side, not saying a word.

He wanted to see what these people had left to say now that things had come to this.

”Young Master, I beg you, for the sake of the many years I’ve risked my life for the Chu family, please show mercy.”

”As long as the Young Master can spare me this time, I am willing to build a shrine for you and worship you morning and night.”

”I am not dead yet; there is no need for you to burn incense for me.”

This remark scared the eight people so much that they dared not say another word, their eyes welling up with tears, feigning innocence.

”I’ll say it again: sign this agreement, and I will spare your lives. If you don’t sign, I don’t think I need to tell you what the consequences will be.”

”I’ll sign, I’ll sign.”

The few people no longer hesitated, scrambling one after another to hand over their shares.

”Good, you few are still sensible.”

”Go outside and wait. There is another gift waiting for you to sign for later.”

Dismissing them, Chu Yuan turned his gaze to Zuo Shishi: ”Have you arranged things on your end?”

”Rest assured, Young Master, they should be arriving soon.”

A few minutes later, police sirens blared, and several police cars headed straight for Tianlong Group.

With a rhythmic clicking sound, a policewoman appeared before Chu Yuan.

The policewoman was about twenty-five or twenty-six, dressed in a police uniform, possessing a rather heroic and dashing aura.

She had a face full of spiritual energy, eyes like the bright moon, eyebrows like slender willows, well-defined features, and a height of over 1.7 meters.

Her aura was strong, and her eyes were quite intimidating.

Those long, slender legs, paired with tight pants and loafers, fully displayed her perfect leg shape.

It was just a pity that while the jeans were nice, one couldn’t see what lay beneath.

These legs!

This figure!

Upon seeing her, Chu Yuan had a few more thoughts in his mind.

Of course, as long as one is a normal man, not having any thoughts upon seeing such a stunning woman would be impossible.

Unless he really is impotent.

He quickly shifted his gaze, revealing a hypocritically dignified smile.

This woman was none other than one of the four great beauties of the Magic Capital, Captain of the Criminal Police Brigade, Officer Lin Wanzhu.

Speaking of which, isn’t Officer Lin Wanzhu’s image that of a hot-tempered policewoman, and also one of the romantic targets for the Protagonist in urban novels?

It seems that in this book, there was very little description of Officer Lin Wanzhu, and the Protagonist Lin Tianyang did not have much interaction with Officer Lin Wanzhu.

While Chu Yuan was sizing up Officer Lin Wanzhu, she was also sizing up this young master of the Chu family.

Chu Yuan’s reputation was actually not bad; the bad habits of a rich young master did not appear on him.

The only negative evaluation was that he had been a simp for Chen Xue for several years.

”He is much more handsome than I imagined.”

”Such a gentle and polite smile; he is worthy of being a young master of the Chu family.”

Officer Lin Wanzhu showed her badge: ”Hello, President Chu. I am Officer Lin Wanzhu from the Criminal Police Brigade.”

”President Chu, are you sure you want to report this kind of matter? Arresting so many people at once will have a significant impact on your company.”

A voice pulled Chu Yuan back to reality from his thoughts.

Since it had nothing to do with the Protagonist, Chu Yuan didn’t want to spend any more effort on it.

After all, there are so many women; he couldn’t just have designs on every one he met.

”A mere impact? What does Chu Yuan have to fear?”

”As the saying goes, kill the chicken to warn the monkey. These few chickens are very unfortunate to have become the objects used to warn the monkey.”

”Zuo Shishi, hand the documents to Captain Lin. The rest of the matter can be handled by them.”

Indeed, the purpose of Chu Yuan having Officer Lin Wanzhu come here was not to admire a beauty.

For those who wanted to betray him, how could Chu Yuan let them off easily?

Being kind to an enemy is being cruel to oneself.

Although these few ants were not worthy of being Chu Yuan’s enemies, they could not be let go.

Seeing that Chu Yuan had made up his mind, Officer Lin Wanzhu did not say much more.

She was originally a person who hated evil as much as a personal enemy and looked down upon such people who committed crimes.

Before long, one could hear wailing and pleas for mercy from outside.

After the pleas for mercy, there was a barrage of curses, saying that Chu Yuan was treacherous, untrustworthy, and had framed them, and so on.

”Zuo Shishi, tell them a few words later. These people have such dirty mouths; let them be mutes for the rest of their lives.”

Zuo Shishi just nodded slightly.

After resolving the internal matters, Chu Yuan made preparations in a tight and orderly fashion, just waiting for the Protagonist Lin Tianyang to come down the mountain.
