I am the Ultimate Villain, So What If I Kill a Protagonist

21: Chapter 21: The Female Secretary Interview”Young Master, the Human Resources Department has gone through a rigorous selection process, and ten people have passed the interview. Here is the list.”

Zuo Shishi said, handing the information of those ten people to Chu Yuan.

Chu Yuan nodded in satisfaction.

Zuo Shishi’s efficiency was truly high; with her around, he saved himself a lot of worry.

They say, ’If there’s work, the secretary does it; if there’s nothing to do...’

In his past life, Chu Yuan was just a penniless loser with no power, so naturally, he envied those big bosses who changed beautiful female secretaries every day.

Now, the tables had turned, and it was time for them to envy him.

Picking up the resumes, Chu Yuan scanned through them rapidly, ten lines at a glance.

It had to be said that those who could pass through the layers of selection by the Tianlong Group’s Human Resources Department were naturally not lacking in figure, appearance, or education.

Female college students, and from prestigious ones at that.

The previous Human Resources manager had long been sent by Chu Yuan to Dongshan to enjoy a free lunch.

The new Human Resources manager, however, knew Chu Yuan’s preferences.

As for the position of secretary, regardless of anything else, even if he didn’t have any ulterior motives, having someone pleasing to the eye by his side was a must.

If it were the type that made one want to vomit at first sight, wouldn’t that just be purely disgusting?

Of course, even if he had some crooked thoughts, Chu Yuan didn’t want a vase; he wanted someone with real substance.

Otherwise, if he really took a fancy to some woman, he wouldn’t need to go through all this trouble.

”Shishi, the qualifications of these people are quite good.”

”How about this: have the HR department notify them to come for the final interview this afternoon.”

”Very well!”

Zuo Shishi didn’t say much, nor did she press for Chu Yuan’s true intentions.

This was also what Chu Yuan liked most about Zuo Shishi: she did her job well.

After enduring a difficult morning, Chu Yuan went straight to the Human Resources Department.

The new HR manager, Manager Cao Zheng, greeted him enthusiastically.

”Please instruct me on the specific details for this round of interviews, Chairman.”

”There aren’t any issues, right?”

”Rest assured, Chairman. I have carefully observed all ten people who passed the interview, and I have even investigated their family backgrounds.”

”Assistant Zuo has the detailed investigation reports on that.”

Seeing Zuo Shishi nod, Chu Yuan smiled with satisfaction.

This Manager Cao Zheng actually had some ability; he wasn’t limited to just bootlicking.

”Chairman, I’m not sure how these people should be trained?” Manager Cao Zheng asked.

Chu Yuan’s attitude would determine Manager Cao Zheng’s attitude and direction for the upcoming interviews.

If Chu Yuan just wanted to find a few women to play with, naturally, the more beautiful and attractive they were, and the better their figures, the better.

If he wanted someone with outstanding work ability who also possessed a certain level of beauty, there would be many more issues to consider during selection.

Moreover, these people were very likely to become the Young Master’s women, so Manager Cao Zheng naturally had to be cautious in his treatment of them.

After all, the most terrifying wind in this world was the pillow talk.

”Shishi and I won’t be at the company often, so for many matters, we will temporarily need someone to help manage things.”

”Also, as my secretary, her image represents me and represents the Group.”

After talking for so long, it could be summarized in four words: talented and beautiful.

”Understood, understood. I understand the Chairman’s meaning.”

Manager Cao Zheng’s eyes narrowed into slits; since the words had been spoken so bluntly, how could he not understand?

If he did this well, he would definitely soar to the sky.

Understanding Chu Yuan’s meaning, Manager Cao Zheng said again, ”Chairman, should I notify people to come for the interview now?”

”Good, let’s start.”

”You will be in charge of this interview; I’ll just assist.”

After saying this, Chu Yuan moved a small stool and sat to the side, looking as if he were taking it quite seriously.

Manager Cao Zheng completely breathed a sigh of relief; having the boss here was naturally the best thing.

If there were any requirements, he would be told directly.

Before long, the interviews officially began.

The first girl to enter made Chu Yuan’s eyes light up.

She was about 1.75 meters tall with a very slender figure.

Unfortunately, that overly prominent ”airport” was the biggest flaw.

He asked a few random questions, and although the girl was able to answer fluently, the first impression decided everything, and in the end, Chu Yuan shook his head.

Manager Cao Zheng had been watching Chu Yuan’s expression, and upon seeing him shake his head, he knew this girl had been rejected.

After asking a few questions perfunctorily, he said as a matter of routine, ”You may go back and wait for notification.”

The girl walked out, looking somewhat disappointed.

Soon, another girl was called in.

She was wearing a JK uniform and looked innocent; this image was definitely that of a schoolgirl.

Chu Yuan shook his head speechlessly; she was trying to play the ”uniform temptation” game with him.

During the interview stage, her intentions were impure, so she was directly kicked off the list by Chu Yuan.

The following girls each had their own merits, leaving Chu Yuan dazzled, but he always felt something was missing.

The fifth girl who entered made Chu Yuan’s eyes light up.

She had a slender figure and a pair of enviable beautiful legs, especially that 34C; there was plenty where it counted, and nothing was lacking where it shouldn’t be.

Wearing a pair of blue glasses, she exuded a mixed aura of maturity and scholarly grace.

This was simply the perfect candidate for a secretary.

Seeing Chu Yuan staring at the girl with satisfaction, Manager Cao Zheng finally breathed a sigh of relief.

This girl was one he had carefully selected.

Although he couldn’t fathom the Young Master’s intentions, as a man, especially one who often frequented such places, he knew what kind of women the Young Master liked.

Manager Cao Zheng asked a few questions as a matter of routine.

The girl kept a faint smile throughout: ”My name is Pan Yaqin. My undergraduate major was Secretarial Studies, and I want to find a job that matches my profession.”

Manager Cao Zheng asked a few more questions before turning his gaze to Chu Yuan beside him.

Chu Yuan asked with a smile, ”Judging by what you said, your grades were excellent. Why didn’t you continue to pursue a postgraduate degree?”

Pan Yaqin spoke eloquently, revealing her snow-white teeth: ”Knowledge from books is endless, but practice is more important.”

Well, Chu Yuan was speechless at this answer.

After all, everyone had their own ideas, and he didn’t want to ask too much.

He nodded at Manager Cao Zheng, signaling that she was acceptable.

Manager Cao Zheng stood up with a smile and said, ”Pan Yaqin, congratulations, you have passed this interview and are officially hired. Regarding the specific details, someone will come to talk to you shortly.”

”Thank you!”

Pan Yaqin breathed a long sigh of relief.

She had originally prepared for the worst, and this sudden stroke of good luck hitting her left her head spinning by the time she walked out.

Once Pan Yaqin had completely disappeared from view, Manager Cao Zheng asked impatiently, ”Young Master, are you satisfied with that one? I hand-picked her.”

Chu Yuan nodded in satisfaction: ”The young lady is indeed not bad; I will cultivate her personally.”

Seeing the evil smile on the Young Master’s lips, Manager Cao Zheng hurriedly lowered his head.

He dared not meddle in the Young Master’s affairs that he wasn’t supposed to know about.

”Young Master, since the secretary has been recruited, can this interview come to an end?”

”End it? Why? Aren’t there still five people left? I’m going to interview them all.”

A secretary—who said one was enough?

As the Young Master of the Chu family and Chairman of the Tianlong Group, it wouldn’t be excessive to find two or three secretaries, right?
