Flash Marriage: Pampered by Mr.Bigshot

Chapter 334: Chapter 333 Open Your Eyes Wide and Look Clearly

So, no matter what, her answer was always the same: Mr. Peary is unavailable.

”You’ve got guts! I’m telling you, you’ll regret this!”

CLICK. The call on the other end was disconnected.

Nia Mitchell shrugged, somewhat puzzled. Why would Star Media Journalists, who usually follow big Stars, suddenly start caring about Maxwell Peary?

Ignoring the threat, Nia Mitchell quickly put the matter concerning Rose Eastwood out of her mind. Yet, she never imagined that in just two hours, she would go from merely hearing Rose Eastwood’s voice to seeing her in person.

Yes, Rose Eastwood had barged in with her camera, disregarding the attempts of Sierra Wright at the front desk to stop her, and in the blink of an eye, she had reached the entrance of the Secretary Department.

”What is going on?”

Sophia Moore certainly didn’t want her first day on the job to be marred by incompetence, such as allowing someone unauthorized to barge into Mr. Peary’s Office Room.

So, she strode out confidently on her high heels, authoritatively pulling open the Grand Gate of the Secretary Department.

”Secretary Moore, this woman claims to be a Journalist from Star Media. She doesn’t have an appointment and insisted on forcing her way in.”

A Journalist?

Sophia Moore frowned, looking Rose Eastwood up and down with disdain. ”You can’t even handle one minor Journalist? What are the security guards downstairs good for?”

To think they let a Journalist just run up here like that! Such dereliction of duty, they might as well all go home and fend for themselves.

”Move aside! I need to see Mr. Peary.”

Rose Eastwood frowned, straightening the clothes that Sierra Wright had wrinkled while trying to stop her forceful entry, her face etched with anger.

”You, the receptionist, wrinkled my clothes! Are you going to compensate me? This outfit of mine cost fifty or sixty thousand USD, you know.”

Rose Eastwood casually threw out a figure. And just as she’d expected, after stating the price, she saw Sierra Wright gasp.

Hmph!

Sophia Moore, however, wasn’t buying it. She had already turned and called security; by now, they were probably already in the elevator.

”Fifty or sixty thousand USD? If you could truly afford clothes at that price, you wouldn’t be some minor, obscure Journalist.”

Sophia Moore spoke bluntly, standing guard in case Rose Eastwood tried to storm straight in.

She had received a notice that morning: Special Assistant Alan Morgan was on leave. Therefore, she had to handle this matter properly herself.

If she couldn’t resolve this, with no one else to assist, Rose Eastwood would end up directly confronting Mr. Peary.

In that case, she would likely become the Head Secretary with the shortest tenure in MC’s history.

”How dare you call me a minor Journalist? Hmph! Take a good look! I’m a Journalist from Star Media! Open your damn eyes and see clearly!”

Rose Eastwood yelled indignantly, not tolerating any belittlement of her job.

Star Media was one of the top media companies in the industry. However, their primary focus was the Entertainment Circle, and they had countless major Stars under their banner.

Look, even Ethan Martinez, currently a sensation across Asia, was also with their company.

The key point was, it was rumored that Silvia Waterborne—the Entertainment Circle’s undisputed Goddess, an ageless legend—had an indescribable and ambiguous relationship with Star Media.

However, despite their leaning towards the entertainment industry, they also frequently interviewed business tycoons.

Liam Walker, who had retired from the business world many years ago, had once granted them an interview.

But Mr. Peary was not someone Liam Walker could compare to; he absolutely never accepted any interviews.

It was possible these Journalists had seen the reports from a couple of days ago about Maxwell Peary attending Phoebe Walker’s birthday banquet.

So, everyone was now eager to try and make contact. If they could secure an exclusive, they would undoubtedly make a fortune.
