Flash Marriage: Pampered by Mr.Bigshot

Chapter 315: Chapter 314: If You Like Her, Then Go Pursue Her!

Even with Nia Mitchell’s tough nerves, she could sense something was off between Fiona Sutton and Charles Northwood.

”What’s...wrong with you two?” Nia Mitchell looked at Fiona Sutton in confusion, then at Charles Northwood.

Charles Northwood shook his head, signaling he was at his wit’s end.

”I cannot accept some of her perspectives. We had some disagreements when we were in the USA,” Charles Northwood glossed over, not telling Nia Mitchell what exactly they had been arguing over.

”Yes, because I exposed what someone was really thinking,” Fiona Sutton retorted grumpily, but she also didn’t elaborate on the matter.

Nia Mitchell was completely clueless. This was the first time she had seen these two confronting each other so intensely.

Just then, the dishes arrived. Nia Mitchell smiled, breaking the deadlock, and invited them to eat.

”Just dishes won’t do. Waiter! Bring us five bottles of Erguotou first!”

Fiona Sutton loved wine and often drank Erguotou, but today...

The waiter quickly brought the Erguotou. Fiona Sutton poured herself a large glass first and chugged it all in one go.

”Fiona, if you drink like that, you’ll get drunk.” Nia Mitchell fretfully handed her some plain water, but Fiona wouldn’t drink it.

”Nia, go buy two bottles of yogurt from the supermarket.”

Yogurt helps with sobering up. This restaurant didn’t have Fiona Sutton’s favorite kind, so Nia had to go to a supermarket two hundred meters away to get it.

”Alright, I’ll go now. Keep an eye on her and don’t let her get drunk again.” With that, Nia Mitchell hurriedly left.

”Fiona, are you done causing trouble?”

As soon as Nia Mitchell left, Charles Northwood instantly dropped his refined demeanor, frowning as he rebuked Fiona.

Fiona was taken aback, a bitter smile playing on her lips.

”See? You keep telling me you’re not into Nia, but look at your attitude. The way you treat her compared to how you treat me is like night and day.”

Fiona sneered and took another large gulp of wine.

”Nia and I are just friends. How many times do I have to explain that to you?” Charles Northwood felt helpless and sat there, trying to stop her from drinking more.

”Friends? Her personal bodyguard, who are you trying to fool? For the past seven years, I’ve seen it as clear as day. Damn it, you’re just into Nia Mitchell.”

With that, Fiona Sutton slammed her hand on the table. A loud BANG echoed, and the entire restaurant fell silent for a moment.

Three seconds later, the restaurant returned to its previous noisy state.

”Just because I take good care of her, you think I like her?” Charles Northwood sat there helplessly, somewhat unable to comprehend Fiona Sutton’s bizarre reasoning.

”No, it’s the look in your eyes. The way you look at Nia Mitchell is different from the way you look at me.”

Fiona Sutton was emotional. Moreover, she was drinking quickly on an empty stomach, so she rapidly started to feel a bit drunk.

”Her personal bodyguard, Hendry Hampton has cleared out, and you still don’t want to admit you’re into Nia Mitchell, right? Are you going to wait for the next Hendry Hampton to show up, for her to end up in someone else’s arms, before you’re satisfied?” As Fiona spoke, her eyes reddened.

”My feelings for Nia Mitchell are just those of a friend. I feel the same way about you.”

”Feelings? For me?” Fiona Sutton suddenly murmured these words, as though in a trance. Charles Northwood... did he actually say he liked me?

”No, you don’t like me.” Fiona Sutton suddenly lowered her head, utterly dejected.

”How could you like me? I’ve never felt any affection from you. In this world, if there’s any affection between us, it’s only me liking you, only me! Fucking hell, why can’t you show some guts? If you like Nia Mitchell, then go after her! If I lose to her, I don’t give a damn!”
