Flash Marriage: Pampered by Mr.Bigshot

Chapter 328: Chapter 327: Leaving the CEO at Lunch

Nia Mitchell stood there, somewhat at a loss. Why would the CEO want me to stay? Could it be... he wanted me to hear this? It’s just that I really can’t detect any feelings for Shirley Grant in Alan Morgan’s words.

”I’m only giving you one week. Go.”

Maxwell Peary glanced at him. After speaking, he paid Alan no further attention, turning instead to look directly at Nia.

”A couple of days ago, I arranged for Royal Bay Villa to be renovated. The blueprints just arrived. Take a look, see if you like them.”

Maxwell handed a folder to Nia.

Nia blinked her large, sparkling eyes, a bit slow to react.

Erm, renovations? Why? Royal Bay Villa is great. Even someone who knows nothing about interior design would think its decoration is high-end and classy.

Puzzled, Nia opened the folder and glanced at the design inside.

So beautiful!

The warm yellow, elegant color palette created an initial impression of nobility and grandeur, yet it was also cozy. All the furniture featured rich, vibrant colors. There was no cold atmosphere; instead, warm tones like light pink, goose yellow, and pale rose permeated everywhere.

A house like this truly felt like a home. This design must be the work of a renowned master. It’s a hundred times more beautiful than the villa I had decorated at Royal View Villa.

”It’s so beautiful.”

Nia’s lips curved into a smile, her face full of anticipation.

Seeing her joyful expression, Maxwell Peary couldn’t help but drop his stern demeanor, his features softening considerably.

”Since you like it, I’ll inform them to start the renovations immediately.”

Seeing she didn’t object, Maxwell Peary called the butler.

”But Uncle, if Royal Bay Villa is being renovated, where will we live?” Nia suddenly thought of a serious problem.

Alan Morgan, seeing the two of them so engrossed in their public display of affection, found it unbearable to watch any longer and turned to leave.

Maxwell Peary, seeing Nia’s eyes sparkling, stood up and stretched a bit. ”We’ll live wherever you want to live.”

Maxwell Peary walked to the enormous floor-to-ceiling window, gazing at the skyscrapers outside.

”Uncle, what kind of answer is that?”

Nia Mitchell smiled and walked to his side. Not at all afraid of heights, she pressed her small hands against the floor-to-ceiling window. ”What a beautiful view.”

It was early morning, just as people were heading to work. The sun was rising, its gentle rays illuminating every corner of the city. Looking out from this high vantage point, Capital Town appeared veiled in a soft haze.

”You still haven’t told me where you want to live.” Maxwell Peary watched her squatting on the floor, couldn’t help but shake his head, and swallowed the rebuke that was on the tip of his tongue.

”Can I really live wherever I want?” Nia turned to look at Maxwell Peary and pulled a face at him.

”Yes.” Maxwell Peary’s reply was firm and decisive, without the slightest hesitation.

This, however, made Nia Mitchell suddenly feel very awkward.

”It’s up to you. We’ll live wherever you say.” Nia Mitchell stuck out her tongue playfully. I’m certainly not discussing such matters with him here!

”If there’s nothing else, I’m going to work.”

Nia Mitchell shot to her feet. Maxwell Peary didn’t object, merely reaching out to smooth her hair. ”Go on. Don’t forget to come over for lunch.”

Maxwell Peary reminded her. Seeing her complexion looked good and showed no sign of yesterday’s high fever, the last trace of worry in his heart vanished.

”I’m not eating with you today. I’m going to the Staff Canteen with my colleagues.”

Nia Mitchell made a face, tossed out this sentence, and quickly fled the Office Room.
