Flash Marriage: Pampered by Mr.Bigshot

Chapter 48: Chapter 48 Uncle, Don’t Touch Me (Additional Update)

Maxwell Peary laughed like a fox, but his words left everyone present gobsmacked.

Nia Mitchell’s eyes twitched. Maxwell Peary had unexpectedly uttered such words. This is... so adorable!

She immediately burst into a wide smile and walked over to Maxwell Peary.

”Uncle Peary, what brings you here?” she asked. Could he have actually come to see her?

”In your dreams!”

Victoria Perez still couldn’t believe that this wild girl in front of her actually knew Young Master Peary. Young Master Peary is such an eminent figure! How could a mere wild girl like her possibly be qualified to know him?

Victoria Perez immediately moved to Maxwell Peary’s side. ”Young Master Peary, don’t be fooled by this wild girl’s innocent facade. She’s actually incredibly malicious. Don’t let her bewitch you!”

Maxwell Peary looked at Victoria Perez with distaste. The potent perfume wafting from her was nauseating.

He much preferred the scent of his little Rabina Mitchell. It was light and refreshing, a fragrance he had never experienced before.

”Bewitched?”

Maxwell Peary pondered. Not a bad word. It seems he had indeed been bewitched.

”Yes, Young Master Peary! You’re such an eminent and brilliant man.”

Victoria Perez gazed at Maxwell Peary with a brazen, lovesick expression. She is a respectable figure now; surely she is a match for him.

If she could make Young Master Peary fall for her, then she could trample over everyone else, do whatever she pleased, and become the object of everyone’s envy.

Victoria Perez couldn’t help but fall silent, lost in the reverie of those wonderful future days.

”Young Master Peary, I am Victoria Perez, the young lady of Perez Technologies. We’ve actually met once before.”

She announced her name and status, hoping to win Maxwell Peary’s special regard.

Nia Mitchell stopped in her tracks, pouting. Damn it! Wherever Uncle Peary goes, he’s always surrounded by so many girls.

He is so incredibly popular with women!

”Perez?” Maxwell Peary confirmed with Victoria Perez.

”Yes, Perez. You can call me Victoria Perez.”

With a sweet smile, Victoria Perez blushed, making it seem as if Maxwell Peary had done something to charm her.

Maxwell Peary scoffed coldly. He has no interest in women who throw themselves at him. ”Scram!”

With that single word, Maxwell Peary walked over to Nia Mitchell and gently touched her hair.

”Did you get taken advantage of?”

Seeing Maxwell Peary’s worried gaze, Nia Mitchell managed a smile.

”I’m okay, but this woman is so troublesome. She bumped into me but then falsely accused me, demanding 200,000 USD as compensation. She even wanted to hit me! But when I pushed her a little, she fell down,” Nia Mitchell said hatefully, feeling extremely upset.

Maxwell Peary understood immediately. From those few sentences, he had gathered the whole story. So that’s what happened.

”You were bumped into? Are you hurt anywhere?”

Maxwell Peary grew anxious and reached out as if to lift Nia Mitchell’s clothes to check for injuries.

Nia Mitchell blushed and quickly smacked away Maxwell Peary’s hand, jumping about in agitation.

”Don’t touch me! Don’t touch me! Ah! I’m being exposed! Exposed! HISS!”

Nia Mitchell cried out. As she struggled to stop Maxwell Peary, the wound on her palm was touched, and she gasped sharply.

”You’re really hurt?”

Looking at her slightly scraped palm, Maxwell Peary’s eyes turned cold, shooting daggers at Victoria Perez.

”Miss Perez, I think the most important thing for you right now isn’t to eat, but to hurry home.”

He spoke harshly, his eyes filled with a coldness that sent shivers down one’s spine.

”Go home and tell your father to prepare himself to withstand my wrath.”
