Flash Marriage: Pampered by Mr.Bigshot

Chapter 20: Chapter 20 Uncle Peary, are you having a sale?

”Who would believe you’re so incredibly noble when you’re clearly acting like you’re a bargain item?”

Nia Mitchell blinked. ”Uncle Peary, are you putting yourself on sale?”

Maxwell Peary: ...!!!

”Mrs. Peary, Mr. Peary is putting himself on sale. Do you want him?”

”I wouldn’t dare refuse.”

Maxwell Peary lowered his head, a pleased look on his face, and captured her lips. Unlike the previous few times, which had been as light as a dragonfly skimming water, this time, he bit her lip, a hint of aggression in the touch.

”MMM...”

Nia Mitchell felt the blood rush to her head, her face burning, as she weakly pushed against his chest.

”Peary... MMM...”

His lips and tongue invaded. Maxwell Peary held her slender waist tightly, wanting to meld her into his very being. His tongue danced with hers, engulfing her. Maxwell Peary, unable to stop himself, deepened the kiss relentlessly until he sensed the small figure in his arms gasping for breath, and only then did he let go.

”PHEW!”

Released, Nia Mitchell stumbled back several steps, gasping for air. She’d never known a kiss could be so intense.

Not daring to meet those ink-black eyes simmering with desire, Nia Mitchell cried out, lacking any real conviction, ”You... You’re a pervert!”

AHHHH! Nia Mitchell screamed silently in her heart, then fled like a startled rabbit back to the guest room from the previous night.

So embarrassing!

Nia Mitchell threw herself onto the large bed and thrashed about, pulling the covers over her head and wrapping herself up like a cocoon.

How could Uncle Peary do that? He actually... actually...

Oh!

She patted her cheeks. So hot! They must be bright red.

Maxwell Peary stood where he was, watching the ’rabbit’ scamper away until she disappeared. She’s shy?

What am I going to do? It was just a kiss.

Looks like tonight is out of the question. If I scare my Mrs. Peary, how will I guarantee my... perks... in the future?

He raised his slender, fair left hand and touched his lips with his index finger. The sensation still seemed to linger—soft, yet with an electrifying tingle that reached deep into his bones.

What if he wanted to stay immersed in that sweet tenderness forever?

SIGHING, Maxwell Peary suppressed his inner turmoil, turned, and walked back to the living room. He picked up his phone and made a call.

”Lewis, your wedding leave is over, effective immediately.”

Far away in a manor in Provence, Owen Lewis kissed his lovely wife on the forehead, then turned aside, lips tight, and lowered his voice.

”Boss, has something happened?”

Knowing his boss, he understood that Maxwell wouldn’t have summoned him back early unless something major had occurred.

”You and Annie Davidson head to Canada immediately to relieve Alan Morgan. Have Alan return to Capital Town at once.”

”Yes, Boss.”

After respectfully ending the call, Owen Lewis turned to find Annie Davidson already beside him.

”Annie, it looks like we’ll have to change our honeymoon destination.”

Annie Davidson rolled her eyes impatiently at her new husband.

”At his beck and call! That madman is just jealous that we’re a happy couple.”

Annie was furious. That crazy Peary actually ruined our honeymoon! Sooner or later, I’m going to quit!

”Owen, I’m telling you right now, if you’re going, you’re going alone. I’m not budging.”

The moment that crazy Peary calls, he just stands there respectfully, ’Yes, yes, yes.’ Hmph!

”Sweetheart, shouldn’t you change how you address me? Always calling me ’Owen’ makes it sound like...”

Owen Lewis gazed at Annie dotingly, as if he could never get enough of looking at her.

Annie gave a fake smile and smacked him playfully. ”You want *me* to change what I call you? Have you paid the ’address-term-change fee’ yet?”

”AHEM...”

Owen Lewis rubbed his chest. ”When will you learn to be a little gentler with your hits?”

”HMPH! Am I the type to go easy on anyone?”

Annie rolled her eyes again, turned, walked back to her chair, and picked up her teacup from the table.

”Sweetheart!”

Owen Lewis walked over and started massaging her shoulders.

”Look, Alan Morgan is in Canada, Andrew Davidson is in Sicily, and we’re on our honeymoon. Meanwhile, Maxwell is all alone in Capital Town handling everything himself. This time, something must have come up that required Alan specifically, which is why he was recalled. We’re just relocating our honeymoon to Canada.”

Annie raised an eyebrow. Listening to Owen Lewis, she actually started to feel a little sorry for that madman Peary. Could it be?
