Flash Marriage: Pampered by Mr.Bigshot

Chapter 30: Chapter 30 Buying Some ’Daily’ Necessities

Nia Mitchell’s eyes instantly reddened, welling with tears. That day, in that very moment, she had thought she was going to die, truly believed she would die.

”Thank you.” After six years, I can finally say thank you to you.

Maxwell Peary felt the emotion radiating from his sweet young wife beneath him and hugged her tightly.

”Nia, will you let me?”

An amorous atmosphere engulfed the room. Nia Mitchell could feel the tension in the man on top of her, and she was too nervous to know what to do.

”Uh... No, no.”

Nia Mitchell clenched her fists, pressing them between their bodies to stop Maxwell Peary from advancing any further.

”Can’t I?”

Maxwell Peary wickedly pressed his lower body against hers, making her acutely aware of his desire.

His heavy breathing rasped in her ears. Nia Mitchell trembled so much she couldn’t even speak; she bit her lip and squeezed her eyes shut.

”I... I’m only twenty. I... I don’t want to get pregnant.”

Maxwell Peary was taken aback. Uh, so she was telling him to use protection, but...

Damn it! This huge villa has everything, yet it’s missing condoms!

At this thought, Maxwell Peary lowered his head in annoyance and fiercely possessed her soft, tender lips.

”Mmph... Uncle Peary, what are you doing!”

After finally breaking free, Nia Mitchell glared at him, her large, watery eyes wide. Is he addicted to kissing me?

Hmph! She was too embarrassed to admit that, in just one day, her lips had been kissed so much they throbbed with pain.

”Little seductress.”

A smile played on Maxwell Peary’s lips. With a helpless sigh, he gave Nia Mitchell’s petite bottom a light swat before rolling off her.

”We’ll go to the supermarket in a bit,” he said as he adjusted his belt.

”Supermarket? Sure, but what are you buying, Uncle Peary?”

Nia Mitchell sat up, clutching the quilt. Her clothes were disheveled, inadvertently revealing her allure.

”What to buy? Hmm?...” Maxwell Peary stared at the expanse of soft, exposed skin, his low voice laced with a dangerous edge.

”We’ll buy some... daily necessities,” he said, then cleared his throat and added softly, ”Yes, daily necessities.”

Congratulations, Bunny. You still haven’t caught on to CEO Peary’s blatant hints.

Watching Maxwell Peary walk out of the room looking dapper, Nia Mitchell’s racing heart finally began to calm. That was so close; I was almost devoured!

She touched her lips. Ouch, so sore. It’s probably broken.

The black and white wardrobe was filled with Maxwell Peary’s shirts and suits. Nia Mitchell ran her hand over the fabrics; every garment was of top-tier quality.

However, even now, I still haven’t figured out who Maxwell Peary truly is.

What kind of person engages in a high-speed car chase and gunfight in broad daylight?

A gangster?

Yet he could have so many armed men storm the Police Department and then leave with such ease.

Nia Mitchell let out a deep breath. Only now did she realize she seemed to have provoked someone incredibly powerful. But at least he doesn’t seem to hold any animosity towards me.

Her long, dark hair had come loose. Nia Mitchell searched for a comb for a while but couldn’t find one, so she simply smoothed her hair with her hands and walked out the door.

In the Dining Hall, Maxwell Peary had once again prepared noodles and was just bringing them out. The steam rising from the hot dish made him look like an ethereal immortal descending from the heavens.

”Come eat with me.”

Maxwell Peary sat with his legs crossed, his posture impeccably straight, at one side of the dining table, gesturing for her to sit beside him.

Nia Mitchell thought for a moment and obediently sat down.

”Uncle Peary, I can’t eat.”

Such a large bowl! And I had lunch less than three hours ago...

”Eat first, we can talk later.”

”Oh.”

...

Nia Mitchell inwardly swore. If I had known beforehand that Maxwell Peary would take my bowl and finish it if I couldn’t, I would have forced myself to eat every last bite, even if I burst!

But it’s too late now!

Watching Maxwell Peary gracefully lift a mouthful of noodles with his chopsticks and bring them to his lips, his Adam’s apple bobbing elegantly as he swallowed, Nia Mitchell felt as if she were sitting on pins and needles.

”Uh, Uncle Peary, I just realized I *can* finish it!”

After her hurried declaration, Nia Mitchell quickly used her chopsticks to intercept the strands of noodles he was just about to put into his mouth.

Maxwell Peary looked up, his eyes narrowing slightly as he regarded Nia Mitchell, who wore a stiff smile.

”Heh...” Maxwell Peary chuckled softly. How foolish of me. So, my darling wanted to share the same bowl of noodles with me all along.
