Chapter 1546: Section 1547 Ivor and Alex Chapter 1546: Section 1547 Ivor and Alex Angel finished discussing the “Reincarnation Casket of the Undead” as told by Frost, then he stopped. As for what happened afterwards, he did not continue, as it was irrelevant to the present.

Although he arbitrarily added Gust Town into the experiences of Frost, all other content was true. After listening, Nail Granny did not doubt his words but sank into her own deep thoughts.

“Reincarnation Casket of the Undead” and “Reincarnation Casket,” are they really the same mysterious object? Although Angel did not provide an answer, the implication within his words is quite clear.

There is a very high probability that they are the same mysterious object!

Nail Granny also felt this must be the case, because only then could it explain why Ivor of Gust Town was really Alex.

She recalled the memories of her time spent with Ivor and simulated Ivorʼs behavioral patterns and thought processes. Then using this simulated thinking, she analyzed all the actions of Alex in the Cage of Shadows.

Nail Granny discovered that not only the names, hair color, and tone of Ivor and Alex were similar, but also their ways of thinking when making decisions and their character in interpersonal interactions were nearly identical.

Which means, it is very likely that Ivor and Alex are the same person.

Upon this realization, Nail Granny felt her heart, dead for a thousand years, suddenly come back to life again. A stone named Hope was thrown into the calm lake of her heart, causing ripples to spread across the tranquil surface.

Nail Granny had been searching for a thousand years!

Without pause.

No matter what method she used, there was no news of Ivor, even though she had spent decades in the Crown Star Church and participated in hundreds of stargazing days, none brought her hope.

When Nail Granny was nearly hopeless, even planning to treasure those memories and lock them away in the deepest part of the Memory Box.

Angel appeared before her, inquiring about the Scroll of Fortune.

The Scroll of Fortune led Nail Granny to unlock her sealed memories, and likewise, planted a seed for todayʼs story.

After a thousand years, when Nail Granny thought all was hopeless, hope finally arrived, brought by Angel, the very person who unlocked her sealed memories.

Perhaps, this was fate. Or perhaps, this was what the Prophet Wizard often liked to mention–the fate.

Nail Granny did not believe in so-called fate, but in this moment, she was willing to explain this long-lost hope as fate.

“Thank you for telling me all this.” Nail Grannyʼs voice was somewhat hoarse, because this simple sentence contained the ups and downs and the bitterness of her thousand-year wait.

Angel: “Granny has helped me a lot, itʼs my honor to be able to help Granny.”

Nail Granny smiled and shook her head: “Actually, meeting you is my honor. Otherwise, my thousand years of waiting might have ended in vain.”

“As long as you havenʼt forgotten, it wonʼt end in vain.” Angel paused, “Granny, do you have any other questions?”

Nail Granny nodded, “I want to know the ending of the story of the Cage of Shadows. Ivor… Alex, what happened after he entered the realm of the dead? Did he kill Nun Tessa?”

Angel: “I would also like to know the ending. Unfortunately, the story I know ends here, and Iʼm not clear about what follows.”

Nail Granny guessed this answer, because there was actually no need for the story to intentionally end badly. Whether ending in victory or defeat, the story would have a conclusion that rounded out the past. But leaving it open-ended didnʼt align with the lengthy background introduced earlier.

Although somewhat regretful, she believed that if Alex really was Ivor, he definitely wouldnʼt simply fall at such a threshold.

“I have one last question.” Nail Grannyʼs voice gradually grew fainter: “Can you tell me, where is the entrance to the Reincarnation Casket of the Undead?”

Angel suddenly looked up at Nail Granny across from him. Her eyebrows were lowered, her eyes unclear, and beneath her calm expression, one could vaguely feel a stubborn obsession.

“Granny, are you planning to enter Samsara?”

Nail Granny: “Now that I know his whereabouts, I indeed have this thought.”

Angel frowned: “The Samsaras experienced in the Reincarnation Casket, and the dangers encountered are random. Not every time is like Gust Town, just a simple serial killing case, and a fallen nun who can manipulate the undead. Itʼs very likely that you will encounter extremely difficult scenarios, for instance, what Lord Frost mentioned, the Dusk Demon Temple, which houses a special undead that is a Half-step Legend!”

“Moreover, Lord Frost also experienced the most terrifying Ancient God Cemetery later on. There, not only are there several Half-step Legends but even fallen god undead!”

Lord Frost is a professional Mystic Hunter, who nearly perished in Samsara, barely escaping by sacrificing a right hand. With Nail Grannyʼs strength, let alone a Half-step Legend, even ordinary Wizard Level special undead might be too much to handle.

Furthermore–

“There are too many different spacetimes within the Reincarnation Casket of the Undead, even if Granny goes in, we do not know which spacetime she will end up in.” Trying to meet Alex could be like looking for a needle in a haystack.

Nail Granny laughed: “Donʼt worry, itʼs just a thought for now, and I wonʼt act recklessly. If I really go, I will make full preparations.”

Angel sighed: “Although I feel that, even with full preparations, it is difficult to survive in the Reincarnation Casket; but I trust that Granny will make her own decision, after all, Lord Ivor would be very sad if he knew you fell while searching for him.”

“Also, there are not entirely hopeless ways out of the Reincarnation Casket, after all, Lord Frost did leave. If Alex is indeed Lord Ivor, then he has been inside for a thousand years, maybe heʼs not far from coming out.”

Nail Granny smiled and nodded: “I hope so.”

Seeing Nail Grannyʼs persistent gaze, Angel eventually relented, “Lord Frost did not tell me the exact coordinates of the Reincarnation Casket of the Undead, but he once mentioned that he received the Orderly Guildʼs transmission while in Ancient Asia World. It claimed that a rogue Mysterious Object was discovered in a minor world near Ancient Asia World.”

Where Ancient Asia World is, Angel does not know. As for what minor worlds are nearby, Angel also does not know. So, confirming the location of the Reincarnation Casket would indeed take quite an effort.

Nail Granny nodded: “Thank you, thatʼs enough. By the way, you donʼt mind if I share this with others, right? I mean, the people at the Research and Development Institute, and the Prophet Wizard.”

After pondering, Angel nodded: “Yes, but try not to mention Lord Frost.”

When Angel left the Nail Alchemy House, he was still somewhat in a daze.

The fates of the world are truly marvelous, when he deliberately sought information, he could never find any. When his mind was unoccupied, merely focused on teaching, in a moment of distraction, using the Cage of Shadows as a “time-filling” tool and projecting it, it was unexpectedly enlightening.

If his conjectures today are correct, then not only has he confirmed the transit effects of The Gate of Void, but he also inadvertently found the long-missing Lord Ivor.

Was he pushed towards Alex by an invisible hand of fate, or was Alex, through persistence, driving an unknown force to bring Angel to him? Itʼs hard to say now.

But the events of this day truly made Angel feel a dramatic upheaval.

Just uncertain whether there will still be a chance to meet this amnesiac Alex?

By meeting, Angel simply means meeting through The Gate of Void. As for personally going to the Reincarnation Casket? Heʼs not looking to shorten his own life.

However, even just trying to meet Alex through The Gate of Void might be challenging.

After all, even if he activates The Gate of Void next time and chooses to exit halfway again, it doesnʼt guarantee arrival in Gust Town.

Regardless of whether or not itʼs possible, Angel still took the opportunity to check the Witchcraft Slotʼs Gate Model.

The previously completely retracted special energy, after a period of settling, began to expand outward once again. Only when it fully covers the Gate Model again, can it be restarted. According to Angelʼs estimate, reaching the restart phase might still need about half a year.
