Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

Chapter 2197: Chapter 35: Dormancy!

”Although the time gained from this won’t be much, and my caution will surely allow them to take even more advantage, this all requires time. Even if we start fighting now and retreat as we battle, such a vast Biochemical Star Region home turf will be enough for us to hold for quite a while.”

”And this time is the period during which we gradually grow stronger. Don’t forget how rapid my advancement is, and yours as well. If we can stall for twenty years across half the Biochemical Star Region territory, then we’ll have won, because I’m confident that in these twenty years, I’ll ascend to the Galaxy Level. By then, even if it’s just an ordinary Galaxy Level Powerhouse, I’m confident I can defeat them head-on. As for Domain Lord Level existences, I can’t guarantee facing them, but it’s not as if they can suddenly appear to deal with me, right? By the time they respond, my strength might have further improved, so maybe I won’t fear even the Domain Master anymore. Don’t forget, I am an Evolutionary Creature...”

Jia Yan’s indifferent words seemed to be stating facts; although the tone was calm, the content ignited excitement among his group of subordinates.

”Exactly, Lord Jia Yan is exchanging space for time. At least now is not the time to start a war. Even if the Empire makes more excessive demands on us, we have to bear it.”

”Twenty years... We must fight for these twenty years.”

”Indeed, in twenty years, even if I can’t reach the Stellar Class Late Level, I won’t be far from it. If there’s a chance, there’s even a slight possibility of reaching the Stellar Class Late Level. Although we don’t have Lord Jia Yan’s formidable combat power and advancement speed, as long as we reach the peak of Stellar Middle Level, with our Yin Yang Path combat capabilities, our actual power could mean that none of us fear ordinary Stellar Class Late Level existences. By then, even if we still can’t be of big help to Lord Jia Yan, we will still surely have some impact.”

”Ha, speaking of being of little help, if we form a Nine-Man Battle Formation, perhaps we’ll even have a slight chance to counter a Galaxy Level. I’ve been pondering deeply these days and have come up with a method to combine the Spiritual Battle Formation and Yin Yang Path Battle Techniques into joint battle skills, which we can refine over the next twenty years and perhaps perfect.”

”Wow, so there’s a way like this. You’re impressive, researching this stuff on your own; no wonder your skill advancement has slowed recently.”

...

Several subordinates each expressed their opinions, quickly growing very interested and hopeful about Jia Yan’s talk of twenty years.

Meanwhile, members of the Jia Yan Squad admitted submission to that Stellar Class Late Level creature, like punching cotton as perceived by the so-called ’Empire’.

”So, the Giant Mosquito tribe seems to have admitted submission, doesn’t it? According to their process of warfare with the Biochemical Star Region, this Giant Mosquito shouldn’t behave like this. Did they become timid after knowing our Empire’s strength?”

”It’s possible. In my view, most of the Giant Mosquito tribe that came seem to have just reached the Stellar Middle Level. Though they’re powerful, facing a more formidable Stellar Middle Level Powerhouse, they’re bound to lose. Perhaps they dare to wage war against the Biochemical Star Region, appearing impulsive, but, in fact, each step has been calculated very precisely. When facing our Empire, their analysis probably showed no advantage, so they dared not wage war.”

At one end of the Starry Sky, that Stellar Class Late Level creature was communicating on a private battleship, not a hundred kilometers long but over thirty kilometers giant, with two strong ones from another distant Universe location.

Much like the Biochemical Star Region, this Empire also has hidden strength. Publicly, they say they have two Stellar Class Late Level creatures, but in reality, they have three, not to mention support from even stronger Starfield Powerhouses. Thus, they almost dominate unimpeded nearby this vast Starfield.

”Thousands of years ago, when our Empire was at its weakest, we suffered greatly from the Biochemical Star Region’s hand, even their territory used to belong to our Empire. But later, with diplomatic means and backing, to maintain influence and the big picture, we refrained from taking action against the Biochemical Star Region. Now, as the Biochemical Star Region is weakest, still under others’ rule, we naturally want to find a way to reclaim our homeland.”

Three Stellar Class Late Level creatures, after analyzing the strength of several Orion Arm powerhouses, concluded their power was unlikely to fail even against the mysterious ’Giant Mosquito tribe’.

Hence, they drafted a strategy.

The plan is to first swallow half of the Biochemical Star Region, then after some time, use various excuses, influencing public opinion, allowing a complete takeover of the Biochemical Star Region and even invading the Orion Arm’s own Starfield would be within consideration.

But such plotting between two vast Starfields extends over a long period, even if their deliberation doesn’t take long, the actual execution spans over years.

What these three Stellar Class Late Level creatures didn’t know was that their schemes, or what they intended to do, had long been anticipated and known by Jia Yan.

Though he anticipated it, he didn’t entertain any thoughts of resistance, because all he needs is time.
