Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

Chapter 2191: Chapter 32: The Empire Invades!

The leaders of the Biochemical Starfield all want to see whether the Orion Arm, which has conquered them, has the capability to defeat that other great enemy, or even be directly conquered like them.

Would the Giant Mosquito species help the Orion Arm to such an extent?

To those so-called Giant Mosquito species, at this moment within the Biochemical Starfield, the upper echelon knows that Jia Yan is merely one person, but they choose not to let the lower levels know this.

Because losing to one creature, even if the creature is quite powerful, would still cause great shock among the lower-tier individuals, affecting their trust in their own starfield.

If they were defeated by a formidable species whose exact strength is unknown, it would be easier for the lower-tier citizens to accept it; this is known as a certain governing strategy.

Therefore, most areas, or rather most of the civilians and mid-low level strong ones within the Biochemical Starfield believe that the ’Giant Mosquito species’ truly exists, and thus have no thoughts of rebellion against such a terrifying species.

By doing so, it has invisibly made it easier for the subordinate creatures of the Jia Yan squad to accept resources and political aspects from all parts of the Biochemical Starfield.

”Oh? What is this Empire?”

”It is said that this Empire is a great enemy of the Biochemical Starfield, having invaded the Biochemical Starfield countless times in history. There have been numerous wars, but because the starfields around the Empire are all their enemies, the Empire hasn’t managed to fully swallow the Biochemical Starfield.”

”So, the Empire’s strength is considerable?”

”That’s correct, the Empire’s strength is considerable. At least in the surrounding starfields, it is almost undefeated, and they have creatures of the Stellar Class Late Level, seemingly more than one.”

”Having a Stellar Class Late... Should we let Lord Jia Yan make an appearance?”

Within the Biochemical Starfield, the members of the Jia Yan squad who haven’t completely withdrawn are discussing the rapidly transmitted war intelligence from the borders.

The Empire’s army is already pressing down, perhaps knowing that the Biochemical Starfield is currently in a state of chaos without leadership. Even with the presence of a few members of the Jia Yan squad, they believe they have an opportunity to occupy a part of the Biochemical Starfield’s territory as there is no army of the Biochemical Starfield and familiar strong ones with the terrain to resist.

Moreover, the Empire probably assumes that these so-called strong ones who invaded the Biochemical Starfield are merely outsiders. Even if the Biochemical Starfield’s territory is taken by their Empire, they wouldn’t insist much but would give up in exchange for balance with the Empire.

Furthermore, they believe these few strong ones don’t have the ability to make their Empire as vulnerable as the Biochemical Starfield, unable to be defeated by them.

Because the Empire has two creatures of the Stellar Class Late Level, they definitely wouldn’t believe that the ’Giant Mosquito species ancestors’ subordinates have the strength to resist the Stellar Class Late Level.

They are mostly just apprehensive of the so-called ’Giant Mosquito species ancestors,’ thus using this ploy to test them. If the so-called Giant Mosquito ancestors don’t even have a counteraction, they might escalate their aggression, possibly extending their attacks even into the Orion Arm.

”Heh, the Empire, huh? And behind this Empire, there is a truly galactic-grade super starfield civilization...”

Jia Yan on Earth, upon knowing the arrival of this Empire, especially about the backing behind the Empire, treated the matter with seriousness.

The Empire doesn’t really matter, but what is powerful is the entity behind them, a breathtaking star domain that includes the Empire and even the Biochemical Starfield; these can be considered sub-states of this starfield.

The Orion Arm, nominally, is also a member of this starfield, only that none of the masters from this starfield have ever journeyed to the Orion Arm for any governing activities due to the light curtain of Predecessor Tianji guarding the outside. Even with the capability to invade, they know likely there won’t be significant gains, and they could provoke a hidden counterattack measure from a past Domain Master Level powerful figure. The risks and gains do not match well, hence they’ve given up the notion of taking over the Orion Arm and officially annexing it into their domain.

”What I need to concern myself with is not this Empire but the star domain behind that Empire, whose greatest attached force is an existence reaching Galactic Grade. Beyond that, they are part of a Territory Master’s grand domain. Indeed, the Orion Arm, the Biochemical Starfield, and this Empire are all members of this grand domain. The universe doesn’t have regions ungoverned by strong ones; even starfields like the Orion Arm that are not administratively managed by these grand domains have nominal rulers who will inevitably intervene.”

Jia Yan grew solemn. An existence at the Stellar Class, even at late power levels, is something he doesn’t need to bother or pay attention to. However, a Star River Powerful Man is someone even Jia Yan must worry about, not to mention terrifying strong ones that have reached Domain Lord Level.

An existence at the Domain Lord Level is considerably more terrifying than typical Galactic Grade. Their power already surpasses that of the usual Star River Level, akin to an Immortal or Divine Spirit, frightful beyond belief. Even now, in Jia Yan’s eyes, a strong entity capable of nearly pulverizing an entire starfield is beyond his imagination.
