Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

Chapter 2159: Chapter 17: Still Dare to Split Forces?!

Afterward, from Earth, the undisputed first center of civilization in the Orion Arm today, came information that filled all the civilizations and populace of the Orion Arm with joy and greatly calmed their hearts.

It was this: the Elder of the Giant Mosquito species, who had just visited Earth, upon hearing about the Biochemical Star Region’s renewed attack on the Orion Arm, felt the hardships of the Orion Arm populace and deemed the Biochemical Star Region’s ambition as vile, aiming to disrupt interstellar peace. Thus, the Ancestor gave a command, dispatching nine powerful subordinates and their large fleet to confront the Biochemical Star Region, determined to launch a counterattack directly into the Biochemical Star Region and make it taste bitterness...

In fact, throughout the entire process, the Orion Arm only needed to assist from the sidelines, which meant merely stirring the autumn wind, rallying and cheering.

”The Mosquito Ancestor, actually dividing forces? This... isn’t it a bit too aggressive?”

”No, that’s not right. The Giant Mosquito species has always been formidable, especially such a powerful Elder of the Mosquito species. He shouldn’t make the mistake of underestimating his opponents.”

”Then there are two possibilities: first, this Elder of the Giant Mosquito species might be unaware of the Biochemical Star Region’s stronghold; second, this Elder of the Mosquito species might be somewhat overconfident. And this overconfidence is definitely based on the assumption that both sides are roughly equal in strength.”

”Then it’s simple. Even if both sides are roughly equal in strength, the Orion Arm has salvation; after all, if the strengths are roughly comparable, the Biochemical Star Region might consider the risk of opposition and possibly abandon attacking the Orion Arm.”

”And if it’s the first reason, it would be even more beneficial for the Orion Arm. If one battle were enough to subdue the Biochemical Star Region, then in the surrounding starfields, the Orion Arm would become more formidable. Even if everyone knows our foundation comes from the Giant Mosquito species, much like the Earth Alliance’s status within the Orion Arm, everyone knows the Earth people don’t engage in production, their technology and strength aren’t up to par, yet they remain undoubtedly the number one civilization in the Orion Arm—not because the Giant Mosquito species supports the Earth Alliance? If the Giant Mosquito species truly defeats the Biochemical Star Region, our Orion Arm’s status in surrounding starfields would definitely become akin to Earth within the Orion Arm.”

As the Elder of the Giant Mosquito species deployed an extremely striking fleet and subordinates from the Earth direction, many high-ranking members inside the Orion Arm received the news, and some gathered to discuss the matter and analyze future war prospects.

What captured their attention most was the fact that this Elder actually ordered his subordinates to divide forces across several locations, even though the seemingly large fleet appeared sparse after division, the strongest team under this Elder seemed to have only two battleships accompanying it.

This deeply puzzled them. Although everyone believed the Elder’s strength shouldn’t be lacking, his subordinates, after all, probably weren’t as strong as the Elder, which is why they became his subordinates, right? Yet, these subordinates were engaging in some division of forces, which was baffling.

”Ha ha... battling a starfield where the strongest is merely of middle-level stellar strength? It’s rather interesting.”

In the universe, Tian Niu Lang, hailed as the strongest among Jia Yan’s subordinates, surrounded by three battleships, piloted his own battleship, slowly flying in a certain direction.

In reality, the Biochemical Star Region’s offensive was about to begin.

The Orion Arm might not possess such developed technology, but if they couldn’t even detect enemies reaching their borders, they would have perished long ago.

Therefore, Jia Yan astutely assessed the situation, sending his nine subordinates to nine directions. Despite the presence of Biochemical Star Region troops in other directions, these nine directions were the most crucial.

These nine directions would govern the situation. Once war commenced, these nine individuals merely needed to hold these positions, with the surrounding Orion Arm civilization and military retreating toward them, the enemy would have to pass through here to attack, where individual combat power would come into play.

Would individual combat power pose any threat?

Didn’t you hear, the strongest in the Biochemical Star Region is merely a middle-level stellar?

If Jia Yan’s painstakingly nurtured subordinates couldn’t overcome a mere middle-level stellar, then the nurturing would be pointless.

After all, subordinates equipped with the Yin-Yang Dao possess two kinds of abilities. Though each has just reached middle-level stellar, their actual combat power is definitely not comparable to typical stellar middle-level combatants.

Thus, under such circumstances, our top combat prowess completely surpasses the Biochemical Star Region. Why wouldn’t he dare to divide the troops?

The Orion Arm might not be on the brink of danger, but the destruction of some civilizations would still be a great loss to the Orion Arm.

And when Earth started its operations, there was also movement on the Biochemical Star Region’s end.

”What? Orion still wants to struggle...”

”Ha ha, heard that the so-called Giant Mosquito species just happened to return recently, and is now dispatching his subordinates to confront us.”

”Hasn’t the Giant Mosquito species already been proven by several lords on our side to actually be a lie all along? The supposed Giant Mosquito species has always been just an Evolutionary Creature. And now, he’s bringing subordinates; isn’t this just sending them to their deaths?”
