Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

Chapter 2190: Chapter 31: I Refuse!

If he dies, or goes to another world like last time, then Earth would lose its backing, and it will only be a matter of time before it suffers.

”And if I let my subordinates protect Earth all the time, it is not realistic. It can work for a certain period, but in the long run... in such a case, Earth people need to become strong on their own, but this kind of thing is not something that can change in just one or two generations, or even in tens of thousands of years. There’s no guarantee that someone worthy of such a position could emerge.”

Jia Yan knows that for a biological entity to reach a terrifying level of power, that is, to reach the stellar level, the entire environment or the biological group must have a very high foundation.

For an evolutionary creature like him to appear is a matter of probability, and for another evolutionary creature to appear on Earth, or one that is close to humans or even essentially human, is even less likely. Instead of waiting for another future evolutionary creature, it’s more realistic to expect Earth people to produce a stellar-level strong one themselves.

But this reality, as far as Jia Yan can foresee, would take at least thousands, or even tens of thousands of years to become possible. This is because the physical constitution of Earth people is limited, and wanting to find a path for them to achieve stellar level in just a few generations is absolutely impossible.

”Even if I impart my Yin-Yang Dao to Earth people without reservation, it’s no use, as this is not a matter of inheritance.”

Finally, Jia Yan came up with a possibility.

It was also the possibility he most hopes for and expects.

And that is his son...

Jia Rong.

”Xiao Rong’s talent, though it may not reach my level, is after all a perfect gene-level organism, and it utilized the cells and gene technology I had back then, which made his success an extremely rare occurrence. So his talent is definitely good, and there is a possibility for him to achieve the stellar level in the future.”

”And unlike me, he is a human-type creature, and in my view, I even have a high probability of normal reproduction...”

”Even if he doesn’t succeed, once I become more powerful, there may be similar methods, but naturally having a couple of strong-gened children would be best. Samo Ling is also an almost perfect gene existence; our offspring might not necessarily be inferior to Xiao Rong.”

Thinking of these, Jia Yan finally determined a significant decision that might impact the entire Earth, or rather the entire Orion Arm and Biochemical Star Region in the future.

To protect Earth, and to secure the status of Earth people, he decided to develop his own ’Jia’s family’, that is, his own bloodline!

Of course, the terror and future pitfalls of relying solely on a family’s development is something that, even with a simple thought, he can foresee in abundance, like becoming overwhelmingly dominant in the future, potentially leading to tyranny, or the emergence of morally uncertain Jia family members—these are things Jia Yan had considered.

But right now, there really is no more reliable solution.

Besides, in his heart, Jia Yan still wants to have his own descendants...

”Earth can agree.”

After analyzing for a long time, the Earth Alliance Leader on the other side of the communicator, who dared not move at all while waiting for a long time, finally heard Jia Yan lift his head and say calmly.

”Agree? Well, I’ll get right on it. Oh, and there’s another message saying if Earth is willing to serve as a co-host country, they would also like to invite you to serve as the co-host of the two big star regions, as the sole authority and rule.”

The Alliance Leader, upon learning that Jia Yan was willing for Earth to assume the role of the so-called co-host country, hurriedly conveyed the last proposal from the Orion Arm Alliance.

It turns out the Orion Arm Alliance wanted to bind Jia Yan even more tightly, hoping he would share more of the Orion Arm and Biochemical Star Region’s benefits, hence wanting him to take up the role of the so-called co-host.

If Jia Yan assumed such an important position, he would certainly gain immense benefits, so in the future, if anything happens, Jia Yan would not stand by idly. If he doesn’t stand by idly, the formidable and terrifying ’Giant Mosquito Race’ might also help the now actually quite weak Orion Arm Alliance.

”Me being the co-host? I will not do that.”

Upon hearing this, Jia Yan directly refused.

Asking him to be some co-host is simply a joke.

The one here now is just his true avatar. If he becomes some co-host, won’t he be bogged down by mundane affairs, leaving no time for cultivation and self-improvement?

”Um... I understand Lord Jia Yan’s refusal, but they also mentioned that if Lord Jia Yan is unwilling, then perhaps people from Jia’s family could take on some important alliance roles, even honorary ones. If so, the alliance is willing to offer certain benefits and advantages.”

The Earth Alliance Leader must have been promised some benefits by the Orion Arm Alliance council over there, benefits that, of course, would only come if he managed to persuade Jia Yan, promising higher future status for Earth, and so forth. Therefore, upon hearing Jia Yan refuse the position of co-host, he still relentlessly tried to drag Jia family members into the fray.

”As for the matters concerning the Jia family members, that is out of my control. Whatever positions they want to take or whatever they want to do has nothing to do with me. As long as you can persuade them, even if you want them to be co-hosts, I won’t interfere, but one thing you must ensure is the safety of my family members; don’t make any mistakes, understand?”

”Un-understood.”

Knowing that Jia Yan would not interfere with Jia family members taking roles within the alliance, the Earth Alliance Leader was overjoyed and didn’t care what positions the Jia family members would take at all. To the Orion Arm Alliance, they just wanted to bind the Jia family to the alliance’s carriage.

After chatting for a while, Jia Yan hung up the communication.

”Going through this, and the Biochemical Star Region, accepting these unequal treaties so easily, is simply unbelievable.”

Jia Yan was surprised at the docility of the Biochemical Star Region.

After all, as a strong one, if it were Jia Yan, being governed by others would already be very displeasing, and then to be asked to agree to a co-host, and even more unequal terms, would be even more unacceptable.

It’s worth noting that even with some strong ones removed, the Biochemical Star Region still has the technological prowess and remaining strong ones in numbers that could wipe out the Giant Mosquito Race and Jia Yan-less Orion Arm a hundred times over.

Yet they still swallowed their pride.

No one knows the reason why.

The news of Jia Yan’s consent quickly spread back to the Orion Arm Alliance.

And on the alliance side, naturally, it was met with great joy, although there’s a slight regret for Jia Yan refusing the ’co-host’ role. But they had already anticipated this, since judging from Jia Yan’s previous conduct, he doesn’t treasure fame at all, so refusal was naturally expected.

This news spread like snowflakes rapidly through all corners of the Orion Arm.

Though the new ’co-host grand celebration’ has yet to formally start, everyone knows it’s already set in stone and will happen soon.

Earth becoming the co-host of the entire Orion Arm, in addition to the Biochemical Star Region, is a hugely significant event for both sectors. Of course, many civilizations within the Biochemical Star Region are not yet aware of this news because, even though they have surrendered, many areas didn’t even experience war, and many locals are unaware of the change of regime, let alone knowing that they are about to gain a ’Co-host Earth’ out of thin air?

All matters are proceeding fervently.

While the Orion Arm is celebrating the birth of the co-host, they have not forgotten to remain vigilant against the Biochemical Star Region.

But as it turned out, the Biochemical Star Region exhibited no such activity. Any movement came instead from another great enemy behind the Biochemical Star Region, which is precisely why most parts of the Biochemical Star Region chose to remain passive after being conquered by the Orion Arm.
