Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

Chapter 1681: Chapter 9: Confession!

Causing trouble?

Jia Yan was stunned.

Could it be that the previous attack on that battleship was mistaken as causing trouble?

”My friend, I am not causing trouble, but the people on that battleship were rude to me.”

Jia Yan fell silent, trying to explain.

”Rude? I didn’t see them being rude; instead, I saw you attacking a genius wanting to sign up for my Stellar Academy. If I hadn’t arrived, you might have killed him, which is a big taboo in my Stellar Academy! You say this isn’t causing trouble, then what is it!”

”Ha...”

Jia Yan was speechless. It was evident that the other party had an extremely overbearing attitude, clearly twisting the truth to accuse him of causing trouble at the Stellar Academy.

”Saying such things is too domineering. Obviously, the other party was in the wrong first; I merely drove them away. If you even want to control that, don’t you think your Stellar Academy is overreaching?”

Jia Yan’s tone turned cold. Since he had become a Stellar level, there were not many things he needed to care about. Also, being at the initial Stellar level just like the other party, he was not very afraid.

He had his pride, and he wouldn’t bow down to being bullied.

”Very well, you dare speak ill of my Stellar Academy. Now, I accuse you of being disrespectful to the Stellar Academy. Will you surrender obediently, or do I have to take action?”

”You should know that our Stellar Academy’s Stellar level is much stronger than yours from the outside. If I have to take action, you’d suffer a bit.”

The other party’s words were chilling, daring to attempt arresting Jia Yan with only a few words.

In fact, this Stellar level strong one spoke like this because he recognized Jia Yan’s abilities.

As a Stellar level strong one, he could easily see that Jia Yan was a newly ascended Stellar level being. In the eyes of this lightning-like Stellar level strong one, belonging to the genius Stellar level strong ones of the Stellar Academy, Jia Yan was just an outsider, and his realm wasn’t even as high. Naturally, he felt he could suppress Jia Yan.

The Stellar Academy was inherently domineering around here.

”Surrender obediently?”

Jia Yan instantly realized that this was the way of the Stellar Academy. No wonder there were no other forces around here; it seems the Stellar Academy doesn’t allow other forces to exist nearby.

In his compound eyes, a sparkle appeared slightly, thinking that as he’s in an alien star, it’s better to keep a low profile.

”Sir, I am an emissary visiting this time from the Genius Battlefield, please grant some leniency.”

Jia Yan said in a slightly respectful manner within the Adisa.

”Genius Battlefield?” The other paused and then immediately showed anger!

”How dare you pretend to be from the Genius Battlefield; if I didn’t know that the emissaries of the Genius Battlefield have already arrived, I might have been deceived by you. Now with your multiple offenses, get off the craft and let me take you back for interrogation.”

”Heh... it seems talking to you is futile.”

Jia Yan also felt anger rising in his heart.

Having shown goodwill, as an emissary of the Genius Battlefield, he was genuine. If he were to show weakness and be captured, wouldn’t it bring shame to the Genius Battlefield?

The bigger reason was that Jia Yan didn’t want to be humiliated.

The door of Adisa slowly opened, and Jia Yan’s body, as long as a kilometer, slowly flew out of the door.

And just after he flew out, Adisa actually retreated backwards, entering subspace.

And that lightning-like creature, upon seeing Adisa’s characteristic, showed a sudden change in his eyes, revealing his true intentions.

A large battleship means nothing against a Stellar level strong one, but a craft that can travel through subspace is considered a good transportation tool for any Stellar level being.

It turns out this Stellar level strong one was eyeing the subspace flight capability of Jia Yan’s Adisa, intending to seize it for himself!

”Since you came out to plead guilty, that craft can’t be taken back. Let it come out!”

The opponent assumed Jia Yan had resigned himself to his fate, slightly arrogantly ordered.

”Plead guilty?”

The astonishment in Jia Yan’s compound eyes became more pronounced, then he glanced at the lightning creature in front of him.

This creature was peculiar, its entire body shimmering with electric light, stretching approximately 1.5 kilometers long, its body almost invisible within the electric glow.

It still possessed a strong alien star domain essence, vastly different from the starfield beings Jia Yan was accustomed to.

”Hmm, you strange-bodied criminal, no matter what, have that craft come out first, then follow me for questioning.”

That lightning creature glanced at Jia Yan, similarly surprised by Jia Yan’s strangeness.

However, his words were still exceedingly arrogant.

”I never intended to plead guilty.”

Jia Yan shook his head.

”What?! You’re actually saying you don’t want to plead guilty?!” That lightning-like creature, as if hearing something unbelievable, asked Jia Yan with extreme surprise.

”That’s right, I didn’t do anything wrong, so why should I plead guilty? Instead, I think you should apologize for slandering me, or I will protest to your academy’s higher-ups in the name of the Genius Field emissary.”

Jia Yan said calmly.

”Ha! You’re still talking to me about the Genius Field emissary and want to protest to the higher-ups? Fine, if you can last more than ten seconds under me, I’ll apologize, but if you can’t and die within ten seconds, don’t blame me!”

The lightning creature didn’t even give Jia Yan time to react and launched an attack directly!

”Truly domineering...”

Jia Yan’s expression shook, and a fierce glint flashed in his compound eyes.

In any case, he recorded everything in video data, and wherever he took it, he would have the upper hand in reasoning.

If the opponent wants a fight, then so be it!

Seeing this lightning-like creature suddenly rush toward him, Jia Yan’s compound eyes sparkled, and he moved in the opposite direction to evade.

However, the entire body of this creature was incredibly slender, and as Jia Yan dodged, its tail changed flying direction and swiftly coiled toward the direction Jia Yan was evading.

Bang!

A sound that shook even subspace exploded in the starry sky.

Jia Yan was unexpectedly hit by the attack and, with a burst of electrical sparks, was knocked back, flying backward.

”See? The difference between an ordinary star level and our Stellar Academy’s star level is just this vast. Now, what power do you have to fight back?”

The lightning monster presumably had no intention of slaughtering Jia Yan. After all, as a star-level strong one, he didn’t know what Jia Yan’s background was, and without deep-seated hatred, he didn’t want to go too far.

But just as this star-level creature wanted to step forward to subdue Jia Yan...

The Giant Mosquito in front of him suddenly darted, thrusting out a foreleg like the wind.

”What? How can you still have the power to retaliate!”

The lightning-like creature gasped in shock, then its slender body twisted and dodged Jia Yan’s thrust.

Watching in shock from the side, it realized its previous attack seemed to have hardly affected the flying creature on the opposite side.

Jia Yan was also slightly startled at this moment.

The place where he was struck by the opponent’s tail was now a patch of bluish color.

It turned out the Bluish defense activated at the moment the opponent attacked, providing defense.

”I underestimated him,” Jia Yan sighed in his heart.

There wasn’t a single simple star-level strong one, and moreover, this star-level was a creature from two thousand light-years away that he had never encountered before. Its strange attack left him at a severe disadvantage right from the start.

Additionally, Jia Yan had neither seen Stellar Academy creatures nor had much experience fighting star-level strong ones. It was only the third star-level creature he faced directly in battle.

Simply put, he was still a rookie in star-level battles, and now, suddenly encountering not only a star-level creature but also one with unfamiliar biological structure and talents, he was naturally on the back foot.

”But now I understand, this guy’s specialty is electric power, combined with his slender body, just treat him as a giant electric eel!”

Jia Yan came up with the best analogy and his mind steadied.

At this moment, the lightning-like creature attacked once more!

”No matter how you withstood my electric power, you’ve surely lost. If you don’t want to die, obediently surrender to me.”

He rushed before Jia Yan again, his slender body twisting in all directions, as if any part of his body could launch an attack at any time.

This kind of attack was too bizarre; at least Jia Yan had never seen a similar attacking creature in the Genius Field nor in the Orion Arm.

”Surrender? You underestimate me, Jia Yan!”

Jia Yan’s demeanor darkened, and his body instantly entered subspace.

”Huh? This guy is a Subspace Talent Creature.”

The opponent was also astonished to see Jia Yan suddenly enter subspace. Just as rare as Jia Yan had seen this kind of lightning creature in the Genius Field, such creatures seldom saw subspace organisms here.

”Could he really be a creature from the Genius Field?”

”Hmph, if he is, then I must win. Now that the battle has started, if the opponent is indeed from the Genius Field, it concerns the reputation issue of both starfields, and I cannot lose!”

The lightning creature sensed Jia Yan entering subspace. As a star-level creature with longer achievements, his vast combat experience allowed him to directly unfold his Stellar Field!

Crackle!!

The entire space suddenly became filled with electric light.

Meanwhile, Jia Yan, moving quickly within the subspace, originally thought to strike suddenly from subspace, but to his surprise, the electric arcs rapidly spread, entering the interior of subspace!
