Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

Chapter 1673: Chapter 1: The Team Leader Mission [A New Arc, A New Atmosphere]

Genius Battlefield.

The recent Genius Battlefield has been bustling with activity due to one significant event.

That would be the upcoming comprehensive genius battle with the distant ’Stellar Academy’!

It seems the whole battlefield is excited about this grand event, and even the miraculous genius ’Jia Yan’ has been discussed less frequently.

Of course, the genius who was the topic of conversation for the entire year has left an indelible impression on everyone’s minds. Even if people don’t talk about him anymore, they will all remember his name and appearance.

On this day, Jia Yan, who had been on many people’s minds and constantly discussed over the last year, personally piloted a strange spacecraft to the outskirts of the Genius Battlefield.

Here, as usual, it was filled with geniuses arriving from all over, eager to enter the Genius Battlefield for their own adventures. If luck favored them, they might reemerge as stellar level experts, or at least as genius-level semi-permanent star level experts, who would dominate their starfields.

”Wow, that spacecraft is so huge and flashy!”

”Haha, didn’t you notice that this spacecraft doesn’t even have a weapon system? It’s lucky for the owner to fly such a large vessel in the universe; otherwise, others would have targeted and killed him. In short, such a big spacecraft might be spectacular but useless.”

”Eh? What’s going on with that spacecraft? It’s heading straight for the Genius Battlefield entrance. Doesn’t he know he needs to queue at the gate?”

”Unbelievable! The Genius Battlefield entrance isn’t just for anyone to storm through. Unless the person inside is a star-level expert Lord, especially a genius-level star-level expert from the Genius Battlefield, he won’t just have free entry.”

At the entrance of the Genius Battlefield, a group of geniuses waiting for entry tests was queuing, yet they watched the strange spacecraft bypass them and head straight to the battlefield’s entrance.

Their expressions turned disdainful, thinking it was another genius from the countryside who didn’t understand the situation, assuming he had the authority to enter directly.

Over recent days, many geniuses have witnessed similar scenes, and those who overestimated their background were chased out by the Genius Battlefield, with some even losing their lives.

So, for the actions of this strange spacecraft, they held the same opinion, assuming the owner was courting his own death.

But as they prepared to enjoy the show, their expressions suddenly changed.

Because as they watched, the Genius Battlefield’s entrance remained wide open, with no official from the Genius Battlefield appearing, allowing the large spacecraft to enter smoothly.

”What’s going on?”

”Oh my, could the inside of the spacecraft be someone from the Genius Battlefield, a senior star-level expert? How did they manage direct entry?”

”Indeed, the person inside must be a star-level expert, which is why they dare to pilot such a weaponless spacecraft across the universe.”

”Oh my god, I’m registering at the Genius Battlefield and witnessing a star-level expert from within. We only have two star-level experts in our starfield, and I’ve never seen one before.”

The geniuses at the entrance erupted into commotion.

However, they didn’t realize the star-level expert they witnessed was distinct from typical Genius Battlefield star-level experts and had even been evaluated by the Genius Battlefield as one of the top hundred talents since the battlefield’s establishment.

Considering the Genius Battlefield’s existence spans over two hundred thousand years, what kind of talented geniuses haven’t appeared?

Being rated within the top hundred over such a prolonged period is an incredible feat.

The strange spacecraft the geniuses witnessed was, of course, Jia Yan’s ’Adisa’.

At this moment, the Adisa appeared even stranger than before; if it couldn’t fly, many might assume it was art.

”Welcome back, Mister Jia Yan.”

As Jia Yan navigated through the crowds to the Genius Battlefield entrance, he was surprised by a transmitted greeting to the Adisa, facing no obstacles before entering the battlefield.

Honestly, Jia Yan was somewhat concerned about whether the Genius Battlefield was tricking him into returning for capture.

Yet he considered his own powers, feeling that even the Genius Battlefield, with their abilities, couldn’t catch him if he sensed danger and fled. The Adisa’s ability to quickly traverse deep space ensured his safety, so he felt unrestrained.

”Any ambush would unfold around this entrance...”

Jia Yan remained vigilant, but upon entering the Genius Battlefield entrance, faced no capture.

Instead, a seemingly not-so-powerful, slender creature awaited him.

”Eh, he’s a star-level expert too, but his power fluctuations aren’t strong.”

Jia Yan curiously observed the creature in front, finding them to be a star-level expert, but their fluctuations appeared very weak, nearly dropping below star-level.

”Haha, Mister Jia Yan, no need to be surprised. Even in our Genius Battlefield, there are many star-level strong ones who only achieve promotion in their old age.” The elder enviously glanced inside the Adisa, seemingly able to see the youthful Jia Yan through the ship’s exterior.

”Hmm, I wonder if this Lord is waiting for me here?” Jia Yan pondered for a moment, slightly surprised by the existence of star-level strong ones in the Genius Battlefield, but he didn’t dwell on it for too long.

As the elder mentioned, geniuses in the Genius Battlefield are numerous, and a considerable portion of them only manage to break through in their old age. Just like this star-level elder in front of him, although not very powerful and perhaps with not many years left to live, he is still undeniably star-level.

”I humbly request not to be addressed as Lord in front of Mister Jia Yan; please call me Tu Ru instead.”

”Indeed, I am here waiting for you. Please accompany me, Mister Jia Yan.”

He finished speaking without asking to enter the Adisa because he knew Jia Yan still harbored some distrust towards the Genius Battlefield.

Watching this frail strong one lead the way, Jia Yan smiled slightly inwardly.

The Genius Battlefield is quite considerate, knowing he would surely be cautious of them, so even the person sent to greet him is a star-level with less strength.

This shows respect for Jia Yan while also ensuring he doesn’t feel threatened.

”I can generally determine that the Genius Battlefield harbors no hostility. Next, I need to see if the place he takes me to has many star-level strong ones. If so, I must be cautious and maintain a distance.”

Perhaps considering Jia Yan’s concerns, the star-level elder named Tu Ru took Jia Yan to a small planet with only two star-level presences.

This planet is not far from Jia Yan’s entry point, emitting two familiar star-level waves.

”Longta and Luobei Jue? Haha, the official of the Genius Battlefield has been considerate, not presenting too many star-level strong ones.”

Seeing this scene, Jia Yan felt satisfied, believing the Genius Battlefield’s sincerity.

”Jia Yan, you’ve arrived!”

As Jia Yan was observing the planet, one of the star-level presences suddenly flew towards him.

It turned out to be Longta, who was entirely dark-skinned, his flying form’s appearance not very similar to Jia Yan, but the color was strikingly akin to Jia Yan’s.

”Hmm, I’ve come, Senior Longta. Are we directly starting the mission?”

Jia Yan asked.

”Of course, after all, asking you to go to the headquarters to meet our Genius Battlefield leadership, you certainly wouldn’t want... it’s better to commence the mission immediately. This way, both sides have fewer worries, right?”

Longta said cryptically.

Jia Yan smiled.

The official Genius Battlefield is clever, reducing many of his concerns. Even some plans he considered for dealing with the Genius Battlefield can now be set aside.

While they conversed, Luobei Jue also ascended, greeting Jia Yan.

”Alright, since the three of us scheduled for the mission have gathered, let’s set off tomorrow. Mister Jia Yan, you don’t have other matters in the Genius Battlefield, do you?”

After a few pleasantries, Longta suddenly asked Jia Yan a question.

”Hmm... nothing major, just need to send out some communications later.” Jia Yan thought for a moment and felt he should send a peace message to Xi Bala.

After a few more exchanges, Jia Yan straightforwardly flew his true body out of the Adisa, joining Longta and Luobei Jue, heading towards the planet beneath.

”Everyone, I’ve completed my task, so I shall take my leave.” The elderly star-level strong one, Tu Ru, looked at the three young star-levels enviously, helplessly uttered, and then departed.

As an old star-level, he couldn’t be deployed externally; after all, the Genius Battlefield must maintain its dignity. What does it mean to deploy a frail old star-level strong one for external missions?

Jia Yan deeply looked at the elderly star-level behind him, seemingly feeling touched by him.

After all, star-level is supposed to be envied by all beings, yet at this moment, he saw a star-level strong one with low status, suggesting star-level isn’t as glorious as outsiders imagine.

”Jia Yan, look, these are the individuals on the planet that we are taking for a talent competition with the Stellar Academy. Among them, there are a few familiar faces.”

”Oh?” After hearing Longta’s words, Jia Yan paused and carefully observed the descending planet.

”Turns out it’s them...”
