Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

Chapter 1670: Chapter 36: Genius Mission

Even between stellar-level beings, merely seeing each other’s bodies allows them to roughly discern each other’s basic physical conditions. Upon seeing Jia Yan, the two genius battleground stellar-level beings immediately noticed the perfection and flawlessness that only an evolutionary creature like Jia Yan could possess.

Moreover, compared to other legendary Evolutionary Creature predecessors, Jia Yan was even more perfect, especially since he had previously used the Biochemical Mediation Stone to optimize his genes to the utmost limit when he was at the Respect Level.

This perfection, combined with the unique genetic perfection of evolutionary creatures, made Jia Yan appear as radiant as a treasure in the presence of any stellar-level being.

”Greetings to you both, my lords.”

Jia Yan was not as shocked as the two stellar-level beings. Seeing them both astonished by his appearance, he couldn’t help but smile slightly and then bowed to them.

”Ah... ahem, Jia Yan, now that you’re also at the stellar level and our strength is comparable, you don’t need to call us ’lord’. Just call me Longta, and as for him, you can call him Luobei Jue.”

Longta snapped back to his senses as Jia Yan spoke. Being a stellar-level being, after a moment of recollection, he awkwardly smiled and courteously introduced the stellar-level strong one beside him to Jia Yan.

”Jia Yan, hello, I’ve been aware of you for a long time. Unfortunately, it wasn’t until today that I finally got to meet you.”

Luobei Jue also expressed goodwill towards Jia Yan.

This made Jia Yan feel a great burden lift from his heart. After all, if their attitude had been harsh, conflict would have been inevitable. With this attitude, whatever the reason for their visit, there should be room for negotiation.

Unless absolutely necessary, he was unwilling to antagonize the vast genius battlefield, as it would be too terrifying.

”Lords, I have special intelligence, and I’m sure you’re both aware of my true identity. My previous departure without notice was unavoidable, and I ask for your forgiveness. I wonder, what brings you here today?”

Jia Yan had no intention of playing coy with them. Seeing that they did not harbor malice, he decided to be straightforward.

”Haha, Jia Yan, you’re so eager. This time, our visit is actually the opinion of several high officials from the official of the genius battle domain.”

Seeing Jia Yan’s direct approach, without even inviting them to sit in the Country of Taia, made Longta have a deeper impression of this genius evolutionary creature.

Handling affairs without procrastination or arrogance, only such a genius mindset can grow to be this formidable, perhaps?

Before Longta could finish speaking, Luobei Jue took over the conversation.

”Jia Yan, you’re aware of your identity. In any case, the leadership of our battlefield doesn’t have complete distrust in you, and your belief that our genius battlefield would harbor malice towards evolutionary creatures is completely wrong. After all, the past happened 200,000 years ago. Times have changed, and there’s no friction between us. We won’t come after you.”

Seemingly resigned to Luobei Jue’s interruption, Longta glanced at him without competing for the chance to speak further.

”Hmm... so, seniors, since the official of the genius battleground isn’t pursuing me, what is your purpose for coming here?”

Jia Yan was increasingly confused by the words of the two stellars.

”Jia Yan, your time within the genius field has been relatively short, so you might not know. In our genius battleground, there are typically genius tasks. However, if you’re a weaker genius or haven’t reached a high level, you won’t be given these tasks. For instance, when you participated in the stellar academy’s genius battle at the Respect Level, it was considered a genius task for some renowned geniuses in the genius battleground.”

”You’ve reached the stellar level in the genius battlefield, yet you haven’t undertaken any genius tasks. Logically, it’s about time you assist our genius battlefield with some genius tasks. You wouldn’t deny that, would you?”

Longta, having a somewhat better rapport with Jia Yan, took on the task of explaining this part.

”Uh... genius tasks? I’m not really familiar.” Jia Yan was taken aback and then recalled that, indeed, many high-level geniuses in the genius field seemed to participate in genius tasks organized by the official of the genius battle domain.

During his time in the genius field, it might have seemed he was fighting alone and obtaining resources and opportunities, but in reality, much of it might have been provisioned intentionally by the genius battlefield for its geniuses. No matter how he tried, he couldn’t deny this fact.

Jia Yan was silent for a while, then nodded after some thought.

”Come to think of it, I indeed haven’t repaid the genius battlefield. So, tell me, what is this genius task? If it doesn’t involve severe danger, I am willing to take on a genius task.”

Seeing Jia Yan nod, the two stellar-level geniuses exchanged a glance and seemed to let out a sigh of relief.

It must be noted that one of their tasks in coming here was to probe Jia Yan. If Jia Yan, this evolutionary creature, bore a grudge from 200,000 years ago, he might become an enemy of the genius battlefield. After all, someone with such unbelievable talent, if they harbored resentment, could reach advanced stellar levels and wreak havoc in the genius battlefield at any time.

If the probing failed and it turned out Jia Yan bore a grudge and intended to repay the genius battlefield with animosity, the two of them would have to take action against Jia Yan right there. After all, extinguishing the potential threat at the embryonic stage was the best course of action.

Longta exhaled and revealed a sincere smile.

”It’s like this, in a period of time, it’s the day for the new Genius Competition between our Genius Battlefield and the Stellar Academy. Our Genius Battlefield would like to invite you to become one of our star-level strong escorts, to travel with me and Luobei Jue to the Stellar Academy.”

”Is it that simple? Then I agree.” Jia Yan was taken aback.

”Did you think it would be more difficult and dangerous? If it was more dangerous, you probably wouldn’t participate anyway.” Longta gave a wry smile and retorted to Jia Yan.

Since Jia Yan was willing to participate, the two stellar-level dignitaries became amiable and, after discussing specific times and matters with Jia Yan, they turned back into that enormous battleship.

Jia Yan watched as they left the borders of the Country of Taia again.

”These two guys, did they come all this way just to tell me these words? Haha, I would never believe that!”

After they left, Jia Yan also breathed a sigh of relief.

He knew completely well that if there had been any mistake in his conversation with them just now, the situation might not have been so harmonious, but, unexpectedly, a big battle might have erupted.

”Both of them are stellar-level strong ones in the Genius Battlefield. Even if they are at the early stage, their power should not be underestimated. At least I saw Longta fighting with Huo Qu with my own eyes, and although he definitely couldn’t beat Huo Qu, now there isn’t a sign of injury on him, which means he still has some ability to protect himself in Huo Qu’s hands. Of course, this is also somewhat related to Huo Qu not daring to use heavy hands in the Genius Battlefield.”

”In short, if I had really fought with these two guys earlier, there was almost no chance of winning, and being able to escape would be considered lucky. Thankfully, everything is over now.”

With a long sigh of relief, Jia Yan was grateful.

At the same time, his thoughts about becoming stronger deepened in his mind.

He originally thought that reaching the star level would allow him to roam freely under the heavens, but he didn’t expect that not long after reaching the star level, he first had to fight the extremely powerful Kong Ping, and he got injured. Now, two more stellar-level strong ones came to threaten him.

This jolted Jia Yan, and his previously somewhat lazy mindset returned to a vigilant state, and he continued to think about ways to enhance his strength.

”Huh?...”

Just as Jia Yan wanted to turn around and return to the subspace to continue his upgrading, suddenly his expression changed!

It turned out that a communicator Jia Yan had been waiting for suddenly appeared with a communication request.

”Adisa? Haha, calculating the time, it should be time for it to arrive in the Northern Star Domain. Just as I met two star-level individuals, it actually arrived.”

”I wonder what kind of expression Adisa will have when he sees I’ve already achieved stellar status?”

Thinking of this, a mischievous expression appeared on the Giant Mosquito Jia Yan’s face.

Not long after, a gleam of light once again flashed from the border of the Country of Taia and disappeared within the boundaries of the Country of Taia.

This was Jia Yan leaving.

And just as Jia Yan left the Country of Taia, news of this immensely strong stellar-level Jia Yan, being visited by two other star-level strong ones, spread like wildfire across the entire Northern Star Domain.

”Uh...that Lord Jia Yan actually has two star-level friends, and they seem to have a good relationship!”

”What virtue or ability does the Country of Taia have to earn the favor of this Lord Jia Yan? If our power could also gain the favor of such a strong one, it would be great. Furthermore, this strong one also has star-level friends, which equates to the foundation of three big stellar-level strong ones!”

”Hey, this is interesting now. Previously, I heard that the Bai Niao Battle Hall seemed to have two star-level strong ones eager to cause trouble for Lord Jia Yan, but now that they hear he has stellar friends, do they dare to act?”

The fact that Jia Yan, a stellar-level strong one, was visited by other star-level dignitaries within the boundaries of the Country of Taia, shook the entire Northern Star Domain. After all, the appearance of stellar levels in the Northern Star Domain was exceedingly rare, and after Jia Yan’s arrival, they witnessed so many stellar levels, making the people of the Northern Star Domain suddenly feel that stellar levels are not the untouchable Divine Spirits, and they might actually encounter them in real life.

No matter how the people of the Northern Star Domain discussed him, Jia Yan was already swiftly moving within the subspace.

Soon, he arrived at the outskirts of the Northern Star Domain’s Chaos Starfield.

Just as he was about to enter the Chaos Starfield, suddenly, a strangely-shaped flying apparatus, twenty kilometers in size, slowly jumped out of space...
