Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

Chapter 1580: Chapter 6 Scene 1 Encounter with Jia Yan [Request for genuine subscription]

A group of oddly-shaped creatures blocked the path of the dignitary creatures from the same force.

The guide of semi-permanent Star Level was slightly angry, but he had already brought them to where the dignitaries and geniuses were supposed to be, so he could only shake his head helplessly and turn to the dignitary creatures, saying, ”Alright, your rooms are over there, and my task is complete. I wish you the best of luck going forward.”

Especially Jia Yan, when he walked past Jia Yan, he secretly transmitted, ”Behalf, I’m optimistic about you, but before the official battle, don’t show your strength. Their provocation is naturally to test the reality of the participants from this force.”

Jia Yan nodded. Even if the other party hadn’t said anything, he wouldn’t be bored enough to engage with these provocateurs.

After all, he wasn’t really one of the same force, and he felt no honor in association with them.

The provocative dignitary creatures were also perceptive; they continued to provoke only after the Red Sky Force guide had left.

”You from the Ru’er Force, looking for trouble?” Tang Tu, who was previously praised by the dignitaries, coldly said to the group of provocative creatures.

”Looking for trouble? We do want to make trouble. Come on, there’s no better day than today. Since you’re here now, let’s have a match to welcome you on behalf of the same force.”

The provoking dignitary was extremely satisfied with the reaction of the creatures from the same force and continued to provoke.

But he quickly realized that among the creatures from the same force, there was one who shook his head, completely ignoring him and heading directly towards the residence mentioned by the semi-permanent Star Level guide.

”That same force dignitary, stop for me. I say you’re not strong, and you don’t want to defend your dignity at all?”

Jia Yan smiled without turning his head, ”I have no time; you guys carry on.”

The dignitaries from the same force were almost eager to witness Jia Yan’s response to the provocation, but seeing that Jia Yan didn’t even engage, they showed a trace of disappointment.

But thinking it over, they understood that Jia Yan wasn’t one of the creatures from the same force and naturally wouldn’t react to the provocation.

”Come, let’s put Behalf aside, and we, the geniuses from the same force, will battle with you!”

Tang Tu didn’t care about Jia Yan’s presence. To him, no matter how strong Jia Yan was, he was just an outsider. The ones holding the fort for the same force were under his purview.

A group gathered around several key figures and headed towards the temporary battle stage arranged by the Red Sky Force for them.

Jia Yan simply proceeded to the place designated for the same force, where a servant greeted him.

He casually chose a residence, and upon entering, a servant promptly brought liquid food.

”Hmm, this stuff is pretty good. It seems that power really is a good thing.”

Jia Yan sipped the liquid through his mouthparts, immediately feeling his whole body relax, realizing that what he consumed wasn’t ordinary, and felt satisfied with the Red Sky Force’s hospitality.

Meanwhile, as he enjoyed, the Brainwave Power in the sky turned chaotic, and a series of fluctuations faintly emanated from the direction of the battle stage, indicating that the battle had begun.

”The fight is indeed impressive, but for me, it’s like child’s play.”

Jia Yan observed the scenes from the battle and then casually shook his head.

His immense Brainwave Power flowed throughout the reception area.

This reception celestial body, described as a reception area, was actually a massive planet with a diameter of over two thousand kilometers, making it quite a large celestial body.

On this celestial body, there was a battle stage and many places similar to where Jia Yan was now residing.

Jia Yan saw many representatives of dignitaries from various forces and civilizations gathered there.

”Let’s see if there are any dignitaries worth noting.” Jia Yan’s Brainwave Power swept gently over the celestial body like an imperceptible breeze.

Not to mention those dignitaries participating in the competition, even hundreds of semi-permanent Star Level strong ones couldn’t detect Jia Yan’s Brainwave Power fluctuation.

”Oh? There are indeed some impressive dignitaries.”

Upon investigation, Jia Yan indeed discovered two dignitaries with considerable strength.

”This dignitary has a talent about Intermediate Genius Level, quite capable. The other genius feels like he has an Initial Talent, also not bad. Among the roughly one thousand geniuses ultimately heading to the Genius Battlefield, this intermediate talent genius is surely one, and the other might have a chance.”

Jia Yan praised the geniuses on this celestial body, paying special attention to the intermediate talent genius.

However, that’s about it.

Even with dignitaries equivalent to Intermediate Talent from the Genius Battlefield, even if a top-tier talent dignitary stood before Jia Yan now, he would hardly show any special expression.

After all, he now definitely surpassed the average top-tier genius and would need to battle with even the top-tier geniuses of semi-permanent star strength in the Genius Battlefield to know who is stronger. After all, he was still just a dignitary!

Time slowly passed as Jia Yan observed and contemplated his next move.

At the battle stage, the probing between the two major forces also ended, seemingly resulting in another defeat for the same force.

This made the Tongyi force lose a lot of momentum; even Tang Tu, who came to compete for the second time, was defeated in ten moves by a dignitary from the opposing force, losing his once confident expression.

”Lord Tang Tu, why don’t we ask Bei Huangfu to act? Otherwise, this is too embarrassing.”

The creatures of Tongyi force saw a group of other forces watching and laughing secretly, which made them anxious.

They knew that their own creatures indeed lacked strength, but they still had a trump card—a true monster among them!

”Do you think we can order him around? Forget it, they look down on us now, but when the official competition day arrives, just wait for Bei Huangfu to astonish them,” said that Tang Tu monster with a very gloomy face, leading the creatures of Tongyi force back to where Jia Yan was temporarily staying.

Time passed again quickly.

In those few days, Jia Yan regained most of his feeling from using his true body in battle for the first time in a long time, protected under his battle armor.

His strength had nearly reached its peak; without promotion, it was almost impossible for both his brainwave power and physical body to develop further.

But this didn’t mean Jia Yan couldn’t further advance his strength.

Having just obtained his current strength, his control over his body and understanding of combat had not reached their peak. If he could thoroughly comprehend these, his strength would make a significant leap.

Of course, this required time.

However, just as he started thinking on this aspect, the battle for the Genius Pass of the Red Sky Martial Hall began.

”Bei Huangfu, today is the battle. Although I know you are not from our Tongyi force, you came to the Red Sky Martial Hall due to our force’s favor, so I ask you to help us save face.”

When Jia Yan was informed about the battle for the pass and stepped out of his room, Tang Tu approached him and said this.

”I will.” Jia Yan nodded.

After all, he indeed found this fast method to return to the Genius Battlefield thanks to the help of the Tongyi force, so repaying them a bit without too much cost was normal at this time.

Arriving at a large square with the dignitaries of Tongyi force, Jia Yan saw, in front of him, a vast square covering tens of kilometers, filled with dignitaries from various forces coming to compete for the pass.

More than a thousand!

”Now that everyone is here, as one of the judges for this session of the battle for the Genius Pass, I hope everyone abides by the rules of our Red Sky Martial Hall.”

”First, all of you are geniuses from various major forces and civilizations; we hope not to see any deaths unless absolutely necessary. If a contestant kills an opponent, they automatically lose eligibility. Remember this point.”

”Second, no cheating methods are allowed; you are only permitted to wear defensive equipment and cannot use other technological means.”

”Third, everyone here is a genius, friendship first; off the stage, you’re friends. We hope all of you do not continue fighting and turn into lifelong rivals.”

”Fourth...”

A plethora of rules echoed throughout the square.

Some needed attention, while others were nonsense, but Jia Yan listened to the first few rules seriously, and then he paid no more mind.

It was evident that the semi-permanent star strong ones of the Red Sky force knew they were over-talking; after hastily finishing the other points, they directly declared the beginning.

The ground of the square under everyone’s feet unexpectedly began to rise slowly.

Then, to the amazement of the creatures, the ground of the square shot up like a rocket into space, and once reaching space, it emitted light, marking out a starry sky area of several thousand kilometers.

”Alright, now I will announce the contestants for the battle; lose and rest assured there’s a revival match.”

”Aside from the contestants I call by name, everyone else must leave the battle platform area.”

”The first match, Bei Huangfu of Tongyi force versus Ye Yang of Ru’er force!”

Uh!?

When the list for the first match appeared, both the people of Tongyi force and those from not far away from Ru’er force were taken aback.

”I didn’t expect the first match to be against our previous losing rival, Tongyi force. It seems our Ru’er force has good luck in this pass battle.”

At Ru’er force’s side, almost everyone displayed expressions of excitement.

They knew from earlier tests that Tongyi force this time seemed even weaker than before; they could easily sweep through.

Unexpectedly, they really encountered the extremely weak Tongyi force in the first match! Several dignitaries of Ru’er force looked with envy at the honored being chosen to fight Jia Yan.

”Hahaha, no need to envy me, luck is also a part of strength, right? Watch me defeat that Tongyi force honoree in under ten moves!”

Meanwhile, on the other side, the creatures of Tongyi force saw Ru’er force’s contestant wearing a look of absolute confidence and then laughed.
