Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

Chapter 1554: Chapter 12: Forced to Fight! [Request for official subscription]

”Mister Jia Yan has always been my idol. How could he have been captured?”

”It might be false news. Wasn’t there news about Mister Jia Yan’s death last time? And it turned out to be fake.”

”Not necessarily. If it were fake, how could the Feiheng Force dare to publicize it so widely?”

”How could this happen? Does it mean that in the end, we in Orion’s Arm can’t defeat the Feiheng Force?”

Hearts are dispersed. Not only do some feel the news is false, but others are angry, and some have even given up.

Jia Yan’s existence is an invisible confidence within Orion’s Arm. Although he hasn’t made a move in recent years, he has become more like a spiritual belief. Especially for those who have lost hope, knowing he’s still alive provides reassurance and even motivates them to resist the enemy.

But now, this spiritual belief has actually been captured by the enemy, and they plan to publicly execute him!

This has caused the belief of many creatures inside Orion’s Arm to collapse.

Even Jia Qi, who performed excellently in the Earth Fleet, was on the verge of collapse.

”Colonel Jia Qi, we can’t go. That’s the enemy’s Dragon Den Tiger Lair. If we go, not only will we fail to rescue Lord Jia Yan, but we’ll also risk the lives of tens of thousands in the fleet.”

”Yes, we’re also worried about Lord Jia Yan, but we are still part of the Earth Fleet. As commanders, we’re responsible for the survival of tens of thousands of people. We can’t act rashly.”

Jia Qi looked at the faces advising her, with large tears rolling down her cheeks.

She cried.

For the first time, she cried aloud in front of her subordinates.

One must know that while she was still young these past few years, she was extremely strong. Others saw her not only as the Jia Family Princess but also as a person with a strong character. But this time, she cried in front of many commanders.

Jia Qi seemed lost, no longer mentioning anything about rescuing Jia Yan. Returning to her room, she sat almost dazed, as if her soul was missing.

She was really depressed. To her, her uncle was like the sky, even closer than her parents. The scenes from her childhood, along with the moments when her uncle taught her to fight and cultivate, all flooded her mind.

”No, if you all won’t go, I’ll go myself.” Jia Qi bit her lip. At this moment, she was no longer a mature commander; the stubborn young girl reappeared.

Just as she made the decision, planning to secretly head to the command ship’s hangar to steal a ship and head towards the enemy camp.

A communication alert softly reached her personal channel.

”Huh? Only family knows about this communication channel.” Jia Qi was slightly surprised, thought for a moment, and accepted the call.

”Jia Qi, don’t worry about your uncle. I will bring him back.”

In the communication, there was only this one sentence, and then it disconnected.

Jia Qi’s eyes widened in surprise, and then she realized.

”Elder Giant Mosquito!?” She was overjoyed.

If there was anyone inside the Orion Arm who could rescue her uncle Jia Yan, it could only be one existence.

That would be the ’Elder Giant Mosquito’ who just communicated with her!

Jia Qi finally decided not to take the risk and refrained from making impulsive actions that could lower her evaluation.

She chose to trust the ’Elder Giant Mosquito’ who contacted her. In fact, Jia Qi still doesn’t quite understand why this elder seems to have some peculiar connection with her family. Nevertheless, she feels she can trust this elder.

On the other side, on some interstellar material not far from the Feiheng Force’s army, a flying monster that just ended a call gently stirred its body.

Jia Yan shook his just-awakened head as if not feeling too comfortable.

”That little girl, I figured she wouldn’t stay put. Fortunately, I contacted her in time.” Jia Yan moved his body and smiled wryly.

The avatar situation prompted Jia Yan to take risks to speed up the recovery of his true body. Fortunately, everything went smoothly. In just three days, he absorbed most of the diluted blood essence’s final effect.

”So, tomorrow is the day of the public execution? By then, my body should be completely recovered.”

The Giant Mosquito’s body moved slowly, as if trying to shake off the discomfort from its long seclusion.

Such events resulted in the avatar’s prestige inside Orion Arm diminishing, which was inevitable, but Jia Yan didn’t care at all.

Because it fundamentally did not affect Earth’s status, and even if it did, the impact wouldn’t be significant.

After all, his true body was still present, and the current true strongest creature in Orion Arm was indeed the Giant Mosquito’s true body.

Besides, what’s the use of prestige? Can it be eaten?

”That diluted blood essence is indeed good stuff...”

Jia Yan felt that even though his body hadn’t fully recovered, it had improved significantly compared to two months ago. At this moment, he smiled slightly, his heart filled with joy.

The truly powerful, compared to his previous self, he is now much, much stronger.

”Even without the battle armor, I have absolutely reached the level of an advanced semi-permanent star, perhaps even more.”

”If I don the battle armor, my strength will become even more formidable, reaching unimaginable heights!”

Jia Yan discovered that the strength boost the battle armor provided was gradually decreasing, but it was still significant, at least for now he still relies on it.

”Tomorrow’s battle might be the last for the battle armor. After all, Bitan has also made significant enhancements, and the armor serving as the primary defense could be completely destroyed under his power.”

Though Jia Yan felt amazed by his progress, even sensing his body had grown slightly larger, he did not have much confidence in the battle tomorrow.

Yet, he had to fight!

Not just because of the issue with the avatar, but more because of Bitan, this pseudo-stellar level foe, who is still in the rapid boost phase of his newly ascended power. If he does not resolve this matter now, once Bitan’s strength peaks, Jia Yan—who cannot improve unless he advances to the stellar level—would have no choice but to wait for his ascension to challenge him again.

But who knows when that would be, so better settle the score now, life or death!

At least Jia Yan had some confidence, and at worst, he could fight to a draw without risking death.

The Giant Mosquito was not in a hurry, as he slowly lay down on the interstellar matter, gradually consolidating his strength.

Meanwhile, at the gathering place of tens of thousands of battleships, Bitan was listening to several subordinates report on the battle progress while resting his eyes.

”Lord, here is the latest battle situation report. In these past few months, our situation has taken a turn for the better.”

”Indeed, thanks to the arrival of the Lord, we’ve managed to turn the tide.”

Several subordinates were flattering Bitan.

However, Bitan paid them little attention. After a period of silence, just as these subordinates were awkwardly preparing to take their leave, he suddenly spoke.

”You all, go prepare the black hole bombs. If my prediction is correct, a formidable enemy will come tomorrow.”

Upon hearing his words, the monster subordinates were momentarily stunned, then seemed to have an idea.

”Lord, are you referring to the Giant Mosquito? How could he possibly dare to come? Your current strength is vastly different from months ago, and he would only meet his death. Could he be that foolish?”

One of the semi-permanent star-level subordinates said with a peculiar tone.

”Hehe, foolish, you think? I don’t think so. Although I don’t believe he is my match now, it’s just a feeling. In any case, go charge up the black hole bombs. It’s best if we don’t need them; I don’t want any unexpected events,” Bitan shook his head, leaving no room for rebuttal from his subordinates.

Although charging the dozens of artificial black holes with the fleet would waste a massive amount of energy, it’s better to be safe than sorry. If the Giant Mosquito indeed arrives, although Bitan is confident he won’t lose, without an extra hand, he fears he won’t capture him.

Last time, he made the mistake of underestimating his opponent. He doesn’t want to repeat that.

The subordinates, of course, wouldn’t defy the Lord’s wishes. Knowing that Bitan, once at the semi-permanent star peak, was already the strongest in the force, and now having ascended with a fake stone to pseudo-stellar level, his power is Earth-shattering. Even alone, he could destroy their fleet effortlessly. How could they dare disobey?

While Jia Yan prepared for the great battle, so did the Feiheng forces’ army on the other side.

This day was so intense it was nearly suffocating.

No matter how unwilling it was to let it pass, the day slowly went by.

A new day arrived.

”Hello, creatures in the Orion Arm, we are a species from the Advanced Star Region, nobler by countless folds than you.”

”The war between the honorable us and you has raged for so many years; your resilience has exceeded our expectations, for which we express our respect to the people of the Orion Arm.”

”But all this changes now; the Lord of our powers, our noble Lord, has recently personally descended upon the Orion Arm. The Lord possesses omnipotent strength; you have no chance.”

”Today, to demonstrate our Lord’s power, we will be personally capturing, live on this broadcast, the once top contender in your Star Region—Jia Yan—and executing him. We hope everyone in the media can witness the consequences of opposing Feiheng’s forces and hasten your surrender!”

The broadcast began.

The transmission signal was processed through Feiheng force’s highly advanced communication system, transforming through countless signal relays in occupied areas, almost synchronized in quantum form, rebroadcast to most of the Starry Sky within the Orion Arm.

Listening to the announcement from a crab-like creature host, every creature in the Orion Arm, especially Earth, was furious!

After the host finished, the scene shifted to a distance, where a massive creature stood over a kilometer tall looming in the starry sky.

Beside him, a seemingly ordinary Earth man stood, with a serene yet commanding demeanor.

All creatures in the Orion Arm recognized his form.

Because he was the one who roamed the Orion Arm for years, earning respect and admiration from countless beings—the once first strong one in the Orion Arm, Jia Yan!
